The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday. Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project.
Here's some inspiration.
Get creative with this fun sketch. Use the center square to hold your favorite image or sentiment. Try using multiple colors or patterned papers for the layers behind it. Cards for any theme or occasion are welcome as long as they match the sketch. Don't forget you can turn the sketch sideways for more options
Danni Bindel creates a bright yellow card that is just too cute. She combines papers from the Spring Blooms paper pad to create her layers. Her base panel has been die cut using the scallop-edged frame die from the Frames & Flags die set. Enjoying all this brilliant yellow is Newton from the Newton's Blooms stamp and coordinating die set in his pot of flowers! So cheerful and fun!
Debbie Owens creates a darling card filled with books! She combines papers from the A Dog's Life, Bright Basics, and Pastel Basics paper pads to create her layers as well as the shelf of books using the Bookmark II die set. She also uses this die set for her vellum panel and the Frames & Flags die set for her striped banner. Enjoying all those books is the sweet puppy from the Puppy's Reading List stamp set. The shelf of books is a great way to use the sketch's horizontal panel!
Kelly Santi designs a bright, cheerful card just purr-fect for a book lover! She uses an image from the Newton's Book Club stamp and coordinating die set with papers from several paper pads: New Retro, Birthday Meows, and Meowy Christmas paper pads. She also uses the Frames & Flags die set for her layout. So adorable!
Amy Tollner creates a darling ocean card using papers from the Seaside paper pad. Enjoying all those beach and ocean delights is Newton from the Newton's Sand Dollar stamp and coordinating die set. Amy also uses the banner die from the Frames & Flags die set. Such a fun, delightful card to get ready for the summer season!
Claire Lamb makes a fun, inspirational card using the feline from the Newton's Hanging Basket stamp and coordinating die set. She keeps her color palette very earthy using papers from the Natural Basics paper pad. To create her vertical panel, she uses the A7 Frames & Banners die. For her horizontal panel, she uses the Bookmark II die which adds the fun stitching. So very cute!
Don't forget you have until Friday, May 29, 2026.
