Inky Paws Challenge #234 Favorites

Debbie's FAVE

Debbie loved the candy cane theme of Meghan K.'s sweet card!  The combination of striped and polka dotted papers add a fun whimsical touch for the sweet feline from the Newton's Candy Cane (retired) stamp set. So cute and sweet!

Amy's FAVE

Vicki is not only the November winner, but also Amy's favorite card!  Amy loved the addition of the pumpkin from the Love a La Carte (retired) stamp set on the coffee mug from the Newton's Mug stamp and coordinating die set. Vicki adds the coffee mug paper from the Coffee House Stories paper pad with a strip of gold glitter paper that makes such a pretty backdrop.  The added leaves from the Autumn Mice stamp set and the scallop-edging using the Framework die set are fabulous finishing touches!

Claire's FAVE

Claire loved the colors of Melanie's darling birthday card! Melanie pulls yellow striped paper and green polka dotted papers from the Springtime paper pad. She adds her paper layers on a light blue embossed card base.  Her star attraction is the sweet puppy from the Paw-some Birthday stamp set. Such a delightful birthday card!

Crystal's FAVE

Crystal loved Jennifer's coloring on those sweet puppies from the Fireside Friends stamp set. Crystal also liked Jennifer's Christmas accents especially the red/black Buffalo plaid paper from the Canine Christmas paper pad. Such a cozy scene!

Danni's FAVE

Danni loved the darling kitties that Irene uses on her card as well as the pretty holiday colors!  This trio of felines is from the Caroling Newton stamp and coordinating die set. The addition of the little mouse is an added bonus to this delightful card!

Amy Tollner's truck from the Spring Haul Stamp and die set is filled with spring delights. Doesn't it make you want to go out and buy flowers to plant in your garden? She pairs her vintage truck with papers from the Springtime and the Spring Blooms paper pads. A fabulous way to welcome spring!

Claire Lamb showcases the sketch with a slice of summery paradise. Her distressed backdrops are gorgeous, especially with the palm trees from the Paradise Palms stamp set. Enjoying the gorgous sunset is her Siamese kitten from the Kitten Beach and coordinating die set. Both of these sets are retiring, so grab them before they are done!

Danni Bindel pulls fabulous coordinating paperrs from the A Dog's Life paper pad that work amazingly with the puppy from the Puppy's Reading List and coordinating die set. The glossy accent on the glasses is a nice touch!

Debbie Owens uses the sketch to make a darling birthday card featuring the puppy from the Paw-some Birthday stamp set. She adds coordinating papers from the Birthday Woofs paper pad atop a glittery white card stock. She finishes with a sentiment from the Birthday Roundabout stamp set. A fun way to celebrate!

Melissa creates a pretty pink balloon background using the Bokeh Balloons stencil set. She frames it with green confetti paper from the Birthday Party paper pad.  Her star attraction is also a puppy. This cutie is from the Paw-some Birthday stamp and die set.  Nothing could be better than lots of balloons and presents!

Claire's FAVE

InkyKat-Kathy creatively uses the Snowman Party stamp set with the challenge colors to create the cutest holiday card. The thick frames in the challenge colors look fabulous!  Also love how she makes this into an easel card.  Darling!

Debbie's FAVE

Meghan combines large, beautiful snowflakes with the caffeine-lovin' kitty from the Newton Loves Coffee stamp and die set.  Love the texture and bright colors of Meghan's CAS design!

Diane's FAVE

Andrea W. uses the challenge colors to create this captivating scene! Using the Hummingbird stamp and die set, Andrea stamps the several pink flowers for her hummingbird to enjoy while her gray snail creeps along at the bottom of her card.  Wonderfully done!  

Sue's FAVE

Papierelle showcases a very hungry Newton for her CAS card!  Yep, that is Newton from the Newton's Picnic stamp set (retired) diving into a beautiful gray and black picnic basket looking for the perfect snack.  Meanwhile, that trio of ants feasts on all the crumbs!  Darling card!

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Diane Morales delights with her bright, festive card. Starting with a bright yellow card base, she adds a scallop-edged frame using the Frames & Flags die set. She adds bold daisies from the Dainty Daisies stamp and coordinating die set. She adds the fence for her horizontal stripe using the Fence die set. The star of her card is the newly released flower-carrying gnome from the Gnome Garden stamp and die set.  Diane colors the gnome in shades of blue that adds a nice pop of color against the yellow.  A fabulous combination of stamp sets!

Sue T. designs a festive birthday card filled with bold patterns and bright colors!  She showcases the present-lovin' puppy from the Paw-some Birthday stamp and die set. Sue's use of striped and polka dotted papers coordinate wonderfully with the colorful packages!  A fun way to celebrate a birthday!

Amy Tollner sets her farm scene on a sky blue card base. She then uses the Clouds stencil to create her fluffy clouds on both her horizontal and vertical panels. She adds the fence die cut using the Fence die set. She adds green grass and rolling hills die cut using the Land Borders die set. In the background is a traditional red barn from the Moo stamp and die set. Amy adds farm critters from the Oink stamp and die set, the Cluck stamp and die set, and the Neigh stamp and die set. She tucks little flowers on the horse and the pig using the flowers from the Woodland Spring stamp and die set.  The sentiments in the speech bubbles adds a bit of humor to this fabulous card!

Claire Lamb creates a fabulous CAS card packed with cuteness!  Claire begins by using glitter paste and the Meow Stencil. She then adds a scallop-edged frame on which she adds the fun-lovin' kitten from the Newton Unwinds stamp and die set. Claire's ability to color black cats is remarkable as is her variegated yarn in warm colors.  Sweet!

 Debbie Owens fills her card with beautiful sunflowers!  Beginning with a kraft card base, she adds a green horizontal strip.  She then repeatedly stamps the sunflowers from the Sunflower Days stamp set which she then die cuts using the rounded-edge frame die from the Frames & Flags die set. She then creates a black frame using a die from the Framework die set. She adds vellum behind the frame. Her main attraction is the kitten from the Paw-tumn Newton stamp set. The blue bird adds a pop of playful color.

 Want to hold a Zoom birthday party?   Debbie Owens shows how to capture the Zoom spirit using a plethora of Newton images.  Starting at the top left, you will spy Newton from the Newton Rides West stamp set with a flirty feline from the Newton's Perfect Wave stamp set to the right.  Those little palm trees are from the Paradise Palms stamp set. Moving to the next row, you'll see Newton from the Newton Celebrates stamp set giving a birthday toast.  For a bit of musical entertainment, there's a feline from the Aloha Newton stamp set. On the bottom row, you'll see a British kitty from the Newton Dreams of London stamp set.  Finally, there's a furry friend from the Newton Dreams of New York stamp set. With the whole gang together, how could you not have fun at this virtual birthday party?

Diane Morales splashes a bit of blue water coloring on her card to create her ocean scene. She uses the Scuba Newton stamp and die set to add coral, seaweed, and fish for Newton to enjoy as he swims by to wish someone a happy birthday! Such a fun way to celebrate a birthday while still social distancing!

Sue T. use of sparkly gold paper provides the perfect elegant accents for her birthday card. Using the Bubbly stencil, she adds some golden bubbles as the cork is popped off the champagne bottle from the Wine A Little stamp set.  Sue does a bit of fussy cutting from the kitty the Newton Loves Cake stamp set.  Instead of enjoying a layered cake, this feline goes for a more sophisticated way to celebrate!  She adds a golden cheers die cut using a sentiment from the Cocktail Mixer die set.  Cheers!

 Becky Noelle creates this amazing card using a clear card base and deco-foiling balloons from the Balloon stencil in a rainbow of colors!  She adds the playful pooch from the Paw-some Birthday stamp and die set with his tall stack of presents worthy of anyone celebrating a special birthday!  

Crystal Komara uses complementary colors, purple and yellow, that will definitely brighten someone's special day!  For her background she adds shades of purples as well as little puppy prints using the Say Woof stamp set. She adds yellow grass with more fun prints. She adds two sweet puppies from the Fabulous Frenchies stamp and die set. Don't you just love those little party hats and the bow tie?  The big balloon shaker uses the Balloon Shaker die set. The purple sentiments inside come from the Birthday Essentials stamp set and the Paw-some Birthday stamp set.  A bright and brilliant card!

 Diane Morales creates this darling shape card by starting with the Sunscape stencil to create the bright, cheerful background. She then stamps and die cuts the kitten with his birdhouse using the the Newton's Birdhouse stamp and die set.  Love how Diane adds the extra bird on Newton's tail!

Sue T. creates this festive square birthday card using the Frames Squared Die set. For her focal point, she stamps and colors the puppy with his BIG pile of presents from the Paw-some Birthday stamp and die set. She adds a yellow banner with the sentiment and adds a sprinkle of sequins.

Becky Noelle gives us this wonderfully designed tropical card!  Using the teal from the challenge colors, she creates the background using the Tropical Leaves stencil.  She wraps twine around her base several time before adhering her trio of pineapples using the Pineapple Delight stamp set and die set. She adds a sentiment from the Aloha Newton stamp set and adds a twine bow to finish her fun card!

Bobbi Lemanski creates this amazing camping scene with that cute, vintage camper!  She begins her card by creating a soft cloudy sky using the Cloudy Sky stencil. She adds a green paper strip with some hand colored grassy on which she adds the camper and dining set from the Cozy Camper stamp and die set. She uses the trees from the Fox Hollow set and adds the sentiment from the Thankful Thoughts stamp set.  Don't you just adore the chain of daisies that Bobbi adds?!

Inspired by the book, Click, Clack, Moo: Cows that Type, Debbie Owens combines two fun stamps, Moo stamp set and My Type stamp set, to create this fun card. She cuts the yellow-pattern layer using the Frames & Flags die set. She then creates the scene using the Sky Borders die set and the Land Borders die set for the grass. With the typewriter on the the hay bales, this cow is definitely ready to start typing!
