Use the challenge theme--Friendship!

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Debbie Owens features two feline friends enjoying some tacos and margaritas!  Those sweet felines are from the Newton Loves Taco stamp set and they are set a top papers from the Bright Basics paper pad.  Deb uses the Frames Squared and the Frags & Tags die set to create her square card and the little panels.  Hope these little fur balls enjoy their outing!

 

Amy Tollner's card shows the true nature of friendship!  Here little critters are sharing an umbrella on a rainy day. They are from the Newton's Rainy Day stamp and coordinating die set. She uses the Basic Frames die set to create her plaid panel using papers from the  Springtime paper pad. For her big banner she creates raindrops using the Raindrops stencil and teh Banner Trio die set.  

Claire Lamb creates an elegant friendship card using the Cherry Blossoms stamp and coordinating die set. She places these spring blooms on a distressed background using the Quatrefoil stencil which she die cuts using the stitched frame from the Basic Frames die set. She pulls a friendship sentiment from the Newton's Birdhouse stamp set. A gorgeous way to celebrate friendship!

Crystal Minkler designs a wonderful friendship card with good coffee, books, and a furry friend. Set atop papers from the Coffee House Stories paper pad and die cut using the Frames & Flag die set, Crystal adds two good friends from the Sip & Stories stamp and coordinating die set on a stitched circle using theCircle Frames die set.  What a way to share a day with a good friend!

Danni Bindel also showcases the Newton's Rainy Day stamp and coordinating die set. Her sweet friends share an umbrella a top the raindrop paper from the Springtime paper pad. She die cuts her paper with the stitched banner die from the Basic Frames die set. Her bottom panel is filled with clouds and is cut using the Frameworks die set.  For added fun, Danni adds some white puffy clouds using the Sky Scene Builder die set.  So much cuteness!

We will also highlight our favorites from each challenge the following Monday so all entries have a chance to be featured on this blog!

Sue T. is all about sharks with this fun, bold card in greens and blues! Creating textured waves using the Waves stencil, Sue stamps the image from the  Shark Frenzy stamp set and cuts it into a circle using the Circle Frames die set. She pulls another shark from the Shark Bites stamp and coordinating die set for her second circular element. She finishes with a the shark-y sentiment and a bit of twine.  So fun!

Amy Tollner gets us ready for some spring showers using the Newton's Rainy Day stamp and coordinating die set for her central element. On her large, stitched circle (Circle Frames die set), she adds some drops of rain using the Raindrops stencil. In the background, she adds paper from the Love & Meows paper pad. A delightful spring card!

Claire Lamb has our beloved Newton from the retiring Cosmic Newton stamp set blasting off amid some puffy clouds (Sky Borders die set) into a glorious-looking Milky Way.  This card is definitely out of this world!

 Debbie Owens shares a card filled with kitten cuteness!  She features the playful kitten from the Newton Unwinds stamp set atop a fun background made using papers from the  Love & Meows paper pad and teal scallops using the Sky Borders die set. She wraps twine around, then layers a scalloped circle (Circle Frames die set) stamped with the image from the Heartfelt Meows stamp set. She finishes with a little red heart. Darling!

Diane Morales uses the scallop-edged die from the A7 Frames & Banners die set to create her pattern paper card base. She adds a stitched circle (Circle Frames die set) with flowers subtly stamped in the background with the sweet gnome from the Gnome Garden stamp set enjoying nature on his mushroom!

Create a project using the theme--Thank You

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Sue T. brings us a tropical thank you card. she embosses her card base and adds the floral circle using the Tropical Fringe stamp set with the large circle from the Circle Frames die set.  In the center is the ukelele playing kitty from the Aloha Newton stamp and die set. The sentiment is stamped on a rounded square and popped with dimensional tape. Oh so pretty!

Amy Tollner begins with a glittery blue slimline card base. She adds a white scallop-edged using the Slimline Frames & Portholes die set. Using the Masking Circles & Squares stencil set, Amy adds a grassy scene in each window using the Hills & Grass stencil. She then adds a puppy in the windows using the Puppy Friends stamp and die set. She adds an extra frog in her center window using the cute frog from the Newton's Rainy Day stamp and die set. That darling flower on the puppy's ear is from the Woodland Spring stamp and die set. From the Daffodils stamp and die set, she add some butterflies and the thanks sentiment. Too cute!

Claire Lamb stamps a black and white background with butterflies and flowers. She then adds the gnome on his colorful mushroom from the Gnome Garden Stamp and die set. She pulls the Many Thanks sentiment from the Thankful Thoughts stamp set. A wonderfully designed card!

 Debbie Owens begins with a black and white striped background and adds a trio of sweet lambs from the Baa stamp set. She adds a dark teal heart die cut using a die from the Heart Frames die set. She adds splashes of pink by adding butterflies and flowers from the small images from the Woodland Spring stamp and Newton's Flower Garden stamp set. A sweet way to send thanks!

Diane Morales card is a perfect way to say thank you to a coffee-lovin' friend. She begins by using the Mugs stencil and teal distress ink to create her background. She die cuts a scallop-edged circle using a die from the Circle Frames die set. She places this on her card. Then she adds the kitten in her mug. She uses the Newton's Mug stamp and coordinating die set. She uses the small daisy image from the Dainty Daisies stamp set to create the pattern on the pink mug. She then stamps the sentiment on the round tag from the Tags Time Twos die set. Delicious!

Chocolate and friends is a wonderful combination!  Karen Guettler Carlson scrumptious card has chocolate truffles stamped on her kraft card base.  She then adds a tag filled with more truffles in pinks and browns.These yummy treats are from the Love & Chocolate stamp and cut using the coordinating die set. She adds the sentiment, a twine bow, and a sprinkling of gems.  A wonderful combination!

Debbie's FAVE

Joyce M. crates this sweet CAS card using the Newton's Rainy Day Trio stamp set. She paper pieces the raincoats, boots, and umbrellas in fun pattern papers. She pops the sentiment with foam tape. The pretty colors and patterns make for a darling friendship card!

Diane's FAVE

Donna Hardcastle gives us a fresh retake of these beautiful butterflies from the Monarchs stamp and coordinating die set. Her beautifully colored butterflies look amazing on the buttercup card base. The striped washi tape and bit of twine are fabulous embellishments!  Wow!

Sue's FAVE

Mary-Anne V. designs this amazing CAS card featuring the Gull Friends stamp and die set. Mary-Anne creates a stitched window opening for the seagulls. Behind them she has water colored a pastel backdrop.  She stamps the sentiment between the scored lines.  A wonderful way to say hi to a good friend!

Rahmat showcases the Newton's Rainy Day stamp with her fabulous CAS card. From her die cut clouds, she adds raindrops using the Raindrops stencil to half of her card. She then showcases the friends from the Newton's Rainy Day stamp and shades them with colored pencils. . Don't you love how Rahmat has the raindrops touching the umbrella? A spectacular way to let a friend know that you care!

Sue T. uses the Sea Borders die set to create layers of waves, some of which are from blue polka-dotted papers. She then adds two sharks from the Shark Bites stamp set, which have been paper-pieced with gray polka dots!  The ocean scene and fun sentiment will make for a great birthday card!

 Becky Noelle creates a soft, subtle card for the upcoming April showers. Her use of raindrops draws the eye to the little critters sheltering under the big umbrella which has been paper pieced with a pale polka-dotted paper. That sweet image and sentiment is from the the  Newton's Rainy Day stamp set.  

Crystal Komera creates a box full of spring cuteness!  Crystal adds a a nest of mice from the Garden Mice stamp and die set throughout her project. The fuschia-colored flowers look amazing with the fuschia polka-dotted paper.  She adds green grass using the Land Borders die set.  Such a delightful and fun project!

With a CAS card, Debbie Owens uses pinks and blacks to showcase this darling mouse from
the Garden Mice stamp set. She blends a bit of pink and adds an oval of white polka-dotted paper. She then heat embosses the sentiment from the Thankful Thoughts stamp set. She adds a few black enamel dots to complete her simple design.

Diane Morales truly did get her cardio on with her hand-created polka dots that forms the background of her bright, bold card. She adds a triangular banner on which she stamps the sentiment and adds her creative kitty from the Newton's Crafty Cardio stamp and die set. A bold, bright take on the polka-dotted theme!

Amy T.  provides a fabulous Halloween card with her distressed moon and spooky blended night sky. Using the Spooky Street stamp set, she stamps bats, tombstones, and tree to complete her background for the kitty witch from the Newton's Boo-tiful Night stamp set.  She embosses the sentiment from  the Spooky Street stamp set in white. She places this panel on Halloween-themed papers and finishes with twine!  Spook-tacular!

Debbie's FAVE

Sandi's use of the sketch as a gift-card holder is super fun!  She selects some wonderful Christmas colored papers--green and red--which make for an amazing setting on which she adds her ocean scene with it's boatload of holiday presents. This sweet image is from SEAs-on's Greetings stamps set (retired).  What a fun way to send some Christmas love!

Diane's FAVE

Avrawill creates a bold brightly colored background with a fun geometric design. She adds a light green panel on which she adds the cute koala from the Pina Koala stamp and die set. She adds twine to pull everything together for this fabulous card!

Sue's FAVE

Green-Eyed Goddess created an amazing background in rainbow colors which is perfect for the rainy image!  She uses Newton's Rainy Day stamp and die set. Her bright red and white umbrella is so bold as it keeps Newton and his frog and duck friend dry.  The grass with the little white hearts is a wonderful touch.  


Becky's FAVE

Amanda greats this amazing fall scene by using distress ink over the Falling Leaves stencil.  She then blends distress inks on her center panel and spritzes with water. Using the the Autumn Mice stamp and die set, she adds leaves flying in the wind with sweetly colored mouse chasing them.  She finishes with the sentiment and a trio of pumpkins.
