Vicki showcases our margarita-lovin' feline from the Newton Loves Taco stamp and coordinating die set. Look closely and you'll spy some salt on the rim!  She sets her festive feline on fun designer papers created by repeatedly stamping the taco image on the blue card base and the happy birthday sentiment (retired Simply Sentimental stamp set) on the pink scallop-edged (Framework die set) paper. Vicki adds a bit of green with the strip of paper and the lime!  The overall effect is a fun, vibrant birthday card!

Debbie's FAVE

We loved how Becca shows the challenge colors in such an understated way. By adding the heart layer with the colored butterflies from the Heartfelt Butterflies stamp above the full, black & white image, the butterflies look like they take flight upon being colored.  Wonderfully done, Becca!

Amy's FAVE

We loved Kristi H.'s water-colored background filled with those gorgeous hibiscus blooms! Kristi used the retiring Hibiscus die set and a sentiment from the retired Newton's Birthday Flutter stamp set. The CAS style and mix of colors make for a beautiful tropical card!

Claire's FAVE

Mugdha uses the challenge colors for this super fun party card!  She places our party-going Newton from the Newton Celebrates stamp and coordinating die set in a blue martini glass with pink and red confetti floating about. She adds a bit of green with the olive to complete this fantastic party scene! Anyone else want to party with this fellow?!

Crystal's FAVE

Danielle creates this darling slimline card using dies from the Slimline Frames & Portholes die set in combination with the Slimline Masking Circles & Squares stencil set. We love how she creates the pastel sky with the bold black palm trees (Palm Tree Line stencil).  With the trio of vintage vehicles from the Beach Bound stamp and coordinating die set, it looks like you've arrived at the beach for some summer fun!

Danni's FAVE

Marianne brings more savory drinks to the table using the Cocktail Mixer stamp and coordinating die set. We loved the big round "coasters" behind each drink, especially with splattering of ink for added texture.  The black embossed sentiments and enameled dots add the perfect touches to this fantastic card! Cheers!

She creates her custom sentiment by mixing sentiments from the Newton's Birthday Bash stamp set and athe 

Basket of Wishes (Retired) stamp set.  A beautiful way to showcase the Blooming Botanicals stamp set.

Sue's FAVE

Ishani has a knack of mixing and matching stamps, dies, and stencils to make a delightful card that still has a clean, crisp look.  On a lavender pattern paper, Ishani adds a layer that has green and yellow dots. Her kitty from the Aloha Newton stamp set looks beautiful in the tropical flowers and foliage.  She then adds a die cut sun and some fabulous clouds.  Such a cheerful birthday card!

Amy's FAVE

A. Rose designs this bold, clean card that depicts a cat's favorite pastime--watching birdies!  Her white and gray kitty from the Newton's Curious Christmas stamp set has been fussy cut.  She is sitting on a window sill watching a birdie from the Newton's Birthday Flutter stamp set.  She white embosses the sentiment on black. Opening the card, you'll find a humorous surprise!  She has added the naughty kitty from the Newton's Birthday Flutter stamp set and the sentiment, "so I ate him!"  This card is sure to have the recipient giggling!  

 

Claire's FAVE

Donna adds the perfect embellishments to showcase her lavender flowers from the Peony Blooms stamp and cut using the coordinating die set. The Swiss dotted ribbon and stitching add such a beautiful shabby-chic feel.  Her yellow and white watercolor backdrop make for a soft, beautiful background. Wonderfully done!

Debbie's FAVE

Priscilla Joseph begins with a cloudy sky of yellow and bright green grass.  She has hidden a couple chicks and egg amid the grass.  She adds a die cut that mimics chicken-wire fence.  In front is the sweet kitty from the Newton's Peeps stamp and die set. The pretty purple basket with the green trim is perfect for the yellow peeps!  Such a fun, clever card!

Diane's FAVE

Kristi brings us card that is just beautiful with its arrangements of elements. She uses the Basketweave stencil to create her spring green background. She uses an oval die to create the central element.  She then stamps, colors and die cuts the flowers and butterflies from the Daffodils stamp and die set. The overall effect is just beautiful!

Inky Paws Challenge #121 Reminder

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration 
for our current challenge! 

Here'a a refresher.

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge:

It's all about long and skinny with Debbie Owens' cards!  Using different monochromatic color schemes, she uses the ladies from the Holding Happiness stamp set for her CAS style birthday cards. She embosses two sentiments from the Birthday Essentials stamp set.  A strip of black and white diagonal washi tape and some glossy accents provide her finishing touches!

Diane Morales has an amazing talent making circle cards, and this one does not disappoint!  Her little scene shows Newton cleaning up after the celebration!  She uses the vacuuming Newton from the Newton Cleans Up stamp and die set and confetti and hat from the Newton Celebrates stamp and die set.  With the punny sentiment, this card will bring a smile!

Sue T. wonderfully combines elements for a well-balanced CAS card! She creates a circle full of fluffy clouds using the Clouds stencil. She then stamps the sentiment partially outside the circle and offsetting it with the sweet birdie from the  Newton's Birthday Flutter stamp set.  Totally sweetness!

 Becky Noelle's spinner card is packed full of birthday fun!  For her spinning element, she has Newton on his balloon from the Newton's Birthday Bash stamp set twirling around. Her background has light, fluffy balloons from the Clouds stencil with rainbow foil confetti Confetti stencil falling from the sky!  Using the Frames & Flags die set, she stamps her sentiment. 

Crystal Komara's blue monochromatic color scheme is just spectacular! For her circular background, she adds sparkly balloons using the Balloons stencil flying across her blue distressed background, She adds Newton from the Newton's Antics stamp and die set popping out of his box. The birthday hat and blue balloon accents are from the Fabulous Frenchies stamp and die set and are just purr-fectly combined!

A super fun card!

Jess creates a wonderful wintery sky in beautiful shades of purple and blues with splatters of white for snowflakes. She then adds Newton on his fuschia scooter the Newton Scoots By stamp set. Love how he is going up a slight incline with the holiday sentiment underneath!  Such a clever way to use this stamp set!

Debbie's FAVE

Amanda creates this amazing slider card that works perfectly with the Autumn Mice stamp and die set.

Her color combination of olive green and purple go wonderfully together. Also love how she adds leaves around the wreath with the pumpkins at the bottom.  Just so cute!

Diane's FAVE

April combines two different stamp sets--Peony Blooms and Newton's Birthday Flutter -- to create this spectacular card. She uses beautiful fall colors, orange and yellow, for her peonies and places them on a large wreath. She adds some dots of orange and yellow and a sweet little birdie to balance her card  Just beautiful!

Sue's FAVE

Dandi93 has us all wondering, "Why didn't I think of that?' She let's a single candy corn from the Candy Corn stamp set take center stage. His little smile just warms your heart. Combining him with the sassy sentiment makes you chuckle!  A fabulous CAS card!


Becky's FAVE

Ishani wows with her arrangement of leaves. She stamps leaves from the Shades of Autumn stamp set using ombre inks.  She adds Nuvo drops to add interest around the leaves. She adds this to a peach card base and adds the sentiment. A wonderful design!

Andrea W.  was also inspired to create a Christmas card using the challenge sketch. She uses a fabulous collection of holiday pattern papers that provides a festive background for the Santa image from the 

Santa Paws Newton stamp and die set.  She adds the North Pole image to her smaller circle and stamps the sentiment on a small banner. 

Sue's FAVE

We just love the bright, citrus colors of Mary's card which is so cooling for hot weather. She begins with a yellow base panel on which she adds a green/yellow green pattern paper. She then adds rays of sunshine peeking out from a white circular layer. Her main attraction is a lemon and lemon slice from the newly released Lemon Twist stamp set. She adds the sentiment on a white banner. 

Becky's FAVE

Amy T .'s creations will have you longing to visit the beach!  She begins by adding a shimmery texture using the Seashells stencil on which she adds a brown and a pattern paper layer.  She creates her banner using the Frames & Flags die set and adds the sentiment from the 

Newton's Summer Vacation stamp set. The heart of her card are the two circle that features the kitty and bucket from the Newton's Summer vacation stamp set.  She uses gold glitter and gold glitter paste for the sand that adds an amazing amount of bling!  

Bobbi's FAVE

Kimmie B.  gives us a fabulous birthday card using the Llama Delivery stamp and die set. She begins with a dark blue base and adds coordinating pattern papers. She colors her darling llama in the same color scheme before adding a trio of blue birds from the Newton's Birthday Flutter stamp set. She also adds the sentiment from this set. She balances her card by adding a stack of packages from the Llama Delivery stamp and die set.


Debbie's FAVE

Kimmie B. brings us another superb card. This time she wows us with her color combination as well as the combination of pattern papers. Behind the cute shrimp, she uses a light brown distress ink with  the Serene Stripes stencil. She adds the little shrimp Shrimp Cocktails stamp and die set using a spinner so he turns! She a porthole trim to frame him. She adds little shells from the Corgi Beach stamp set. She finishes with the sentiment on a banner!

Amy T.  creates a lovely pink and lime green background using the Plaid stencil set. She then adds a partial doily on which she has lightly distressed with pink and lime green. She adds a sweet mouse from the  Garden Mice stamp and die set and adds a little red flower for a sweet touch.  She adds some twine and adheres to a Kraft base.  

Diane's FAVE

Newton is zooming by on Angie's wonderfully designed card. Using the Sky Borders die set, she creates her pink, cloudy sky.  She lightly colors in her light brown ground on which Newton from the Newton Scoots By stamp set is racing past.  She adds her lime green birdie and the sentiment from the Newton's Birthday Flutter stamp set. She places this whole scene on top of a black and white striped background.  Don't you just love the black, polka-dotted scarf?

Sue's FAVE

Ishani wows with this beautiful CAS peek-a-boo card. Using an image from the Aloha Newton stamp and die set, Ishani wonderful colors the kitty and flowers using the challenge colors. She then dies an opening in which you can see the outline of the palm trees from the same stamp set.  

Becky's FAVE

Fiki creates a fabulous shaker card and coordinating tags using the Newton's Candy Cane stamp set. For her card, she stamps the peppermint candies on the base and adds sequins to her shaker.  Then she colors Newton on his candy cane superbly.  

Bobbi's FAVE

Kimberly uses the challenge colors to create this fabulous Christmas card. She lightly distresses the background using the Music stencil. She then uses three of the images from the Newton's Holiday Mischief stamp and die set.  She adds a red background layer before adhering to a Kraft card base.  She adds the sentiment and a splattering of sequins as final touches!
