Sue T. gets her birthday party started by die cutting her embossed background with the postage-edged die from the Framework die set. She then layers on a rainbow-colored tiered cake from the Newton Loves Cake stamp and die set. She stamps her sentiment in a speech bubble (Speech Bubbles die set) and sprinkles some gems on for a bit of glam!  Time to slice that cake!

Amy Tollner's slimline card is filled to the top with birthday cuteness!  Beginning with big, fluffy clouds (Clouds stencil), Amy adds a trio of colorful balloons (Fabulous Frenchies stamp and die set) floating above her playful kittens from the Newton's Blooms stamp and die set.  Look closely and you'll spy a little ladybug enjoying the fresh, green grass die cut using the Land Borders die set.  Her entire scene has been die cut using the scallop-edged frame die from the Slimline Frames & Portholes die set.  If that wasn't enough cuteness, Amy adds a bumblebee and a duo of butterflies!

It's your purrthday by Claire features Frames & Flags, Confetti, and Newton's Cupcake by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #birthdaycards, #cardmaking, #catcards
Claire Lamb begins with white confetti (Confetti stencil) on her white card base. She adds a peach distressed layer on which Newton from the Newton's Cupcake stamp and die set is looking quite happy with his buttercream-frosted chocolate cupcake in its dark peach polka-dotted cake liner!  Do you think Newton will be willing to share? 😺

Debbie Owens uses a kitten from the Smitten Kittens stamp set with a birthday hat from the Newton's Birthday Bash stamp set. She places him on festive circles die cut using the Circle Frames die set on which she has stamped the image from the Birthday Roundabout stamp set on one. She stamps "It's your day!" on a banner from the Banner Trio die set. The "Celebrate" sentiment is from the Birthday Essentials stamp set. Super festive!

Moving to the next row, you'll see Newton from the Newton Celebrates stamp set giving a birthday toast.  For a bit of musical entertainment, there's a feline from the Aloha Newton stamp set. On the bottom row, you'll see a British kitty from the Newton Dreams of London stamp set.  Finally, there's a furry friend from the Newton Dreams of New York stamp set. Deepest Wishes for a very happy birthday by Diane features Scuba Newton by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook

Diane Morales splashes a bit of blue water coloring on her card to create her ocean scene. She uses the Scuba Newton stamp and die set to add coral, seaweed, and fish for Newton to enjoy as he swims by to wish someone a happy birthday! Such a fun way to celebrate a birthday while still social distancing!

Cheers by Sue features Wine A Little, Newton Loves Cake, Bubbly Stencil, and Cocktail Mixer by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Sue T. use of sparkly gold paper provides the perfect elegant accents for her birthday card. Using the Bubbly stencil, she adds some golden bubbles as the cork is popped off the champagne bottle from the Wine A Little stamp set.  Sue does a bit of fussy cutting from the kitty the Newton Loves Cake stamp set.  Instead of enjoying a layered cake, this feline goes for a more sophisticated way to celebrate!  She adds a golden cheers die cut using a sentiment from the Cocktail Mixer die set.  Cheers!

Wishing you a paw-some birthday by Becky features Paw-some Birthday and Balloon by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Becky Noelle creates this amazing card using a clear card base and deco-foiling balloons from the Balloon stencil in a rainbow of colors!  She adds the playful pooch from the Paw-some Birthday stamp and die set with his tall stack of presents worthy of anyone celebrating a special birthday!

She adds yellow grass with more fun prints. She adds two sweet puppies from the Fabulous Frenchies stamp and die set. Don't you just love those little party hats and the bow tie?  The big balloon shaker uses the Balloon Shaker die set. Inky Paws Challenge #113 Reminder

Hoping everyone is enjoying the holiday season!
There's still time to link up a project for the current Inky Paws Challenge!

Here'a a refresher.
Color Challenge

Create a project using the colors
Lime GreenTealBlue and Silver.

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge:

Cheers by Diane features Balloon, Newton's New Year, and Frame & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Diane Morales is ready to bring in the New Year with this festive card. She uses the Balloon Stencil to create her background and adds silver bubbles using the Newton's New Year stamp set.  Guess who is making all those bubbles?  Of course, it's the lovable Newton from the Newton's New Year stamp and die set!  Diane then stamps the 'cheers' sentiment on a mini-banner which was die cut using the Frames & Flags die set.

Merry Christmas by Sue features Christmas Haul, Sentiments of the Season, Holiday Greetings, and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Sue T.  slips in one more festive Christmas card using the challenge colors. She makes several layers using the Frames & Flags die set. Her light blue polka-dotted paper, adds a nice splash of color. She then repeatedly die cuts the 'Merry' sentiment from the Holiday Greetings die in the challenge colors. After vertically aligning the sentiments, she then stamps the 'Christmas' sentiment from the Sentiments of the Season stamp set. For her focal image, she adds the package-laden lady from the  Christmas Haul stamp and die set. She adds dimensional tape to make her pop off the card!

Cheers by Bobbi features Toucan Party and Cocktail Mixer by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Bobbi Lemanski creates a perfect tropical setting for her darling toucans to celebrate! Using the Toucan Party stamp and die set, Bobbi colors the birds in the challenge colors. She also uses the leaf stamp from this set and stamps the edges with it.  With her amazing drawing skills, she hand draws grass and brush to add depth and texture.  Using the Cocktail Mixer stamp and die set, Bobbi has her toucans enjoying a nice drink. She also die cuts the 'Cheers' sentiment for her final touch.

Life is magical by Debbie features Frames & Flags, Forest Scene Builder, Land Borders, Penguin Pile, and Newton's Toboggan by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Debbie Owens brings out the foil card stock to create her magical scene. Using the Frames & Flags die set, she creates her scalloped blue background. She uses alcohol inks to create a green and silver paper from which she die cuts trees (Forest Scene Builder die set) and hills (Land Borders die set). Again using both die sets, she adds a silver tree and silver ground. For her main attraction, she colors the trio of penguins from the Penguin Pile stamp set and pops them up with dimensional foam tape. The fun sentiment is from the Newton's Toboggan stamp set.

I hope these projects have inspired you to play along!  Remember, you have until this Friday, January 3, 2020 to enter. There's a prize involved too, so don't delay - view all the entries and see more inspiration on our Inky Paws Challenge here!
