Inky Paws Challenge #235-Week

 

  Welcome to the December 

Inky Paws Challenge!

For the month of December, 

we have fabulous theme that can work for any occasion!



You have THREE weeks to get creative with this great theme--Year End Cards

You have from Monday, December 2, 2024 to Friday, December 20, 2024 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project. 

Here's some inspiration.  

With so many holidays coming up--Hannukah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, New Year's, what will you be making in December?  Are you whipping up some last minute holiday cards, or do you need to churn out some thank you cards! This month we want to see what NND projects you make in the last few weeks of 2024. Let's see what the IPC team is up to:

Debbie's thank you card features Frames & Flags, Oval Frames, Snowfall, Snow Angel, Snowflake Oval, and Snowman Roundabout by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #inkypawschallenge, #newtonsnook, #newtonsnookdesigns, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #wintercards, #thankyoucards, #catcards,
Debbie Owens is getting her thank you cards ready. She goes with a wintry theme using the Snowfall stencil to make her pastel blue snowflakes. She uses the Frames & Flags die set for the scallop edging. She then stamps Snowflake Oval stamp set cut using a die from the Oval Frames die set. She uses an assortment of blue markers to color all the snowflakes. Enjoying all the snow is the feline from the Snow Angel Newton stamp set. She adds her sentiment from the Snowman Roundabout stamp set on a bit of vellum. Snow cute!


Amy Tollner is hauling in some holiday joy with this darling card! She pulls the plaid paper from the Canine Christmas Paper Pad cut using the postage-edge die from the Framework die set. She then adds a vellum oval using the Oval Frames die set on which she places her blue vintage truck from the Holiday Haul stamp and coordinating die set. A fabulous way to wish someone a wonderful holiday season!


Claire Lamb designs this snowy scene using the Evergreens Frame die. Her distressed evening sky with a sprinkling of snow look fabulous with her prettily colored pine trees! A wonderful CAS card!


Crystal Minkler packs her holiday card with lots of festive holiday papers from the Christmas Time paper pad. She uses the A2 Card Layout die set to create her card layout and showcases the clowder of felines from the Cat Christmas Tree stamp and coordinating die set. Aren't they just the cutest? She adds her sentiment to a little banner using the Frames & Flags die set. So cute!


Danni Bindel is getting an early start to her 2025 birthday cards! For this darling card, Danni pulls four festive papers from the Birthday Party paper pad which she pairs with the duo of mice from the Birthday Mice stamp set. To create her layout, Danni uses both the Circle Frames die set as well as the A2 Card Layout die. Too cute!

Debbie Owens designs a uses papers from the Farmyard paper pad to create this farm-filled card. Enjoying the scenery is our beloved Newton from the Farmer Newton stamp set with a trio of chickens from the Cluck stamp set.  She adds the sentiment to a banner created using the Banner Trio die set.  So fun!

She adds a trio of mini-heart papers from the Pastel Basics paper pad and completes the card with a sentiment on a tag using the Frames & Tags die set. Loving that blue bandage!

Claire Lamb adds a bit of Zen to her card featuring the furry friend from the Newton's Reading List stamp and coordinating die set. She opts for papers from the Coffee House Stories paper pad that coordinate with the feline's pile of books.  She used the stitched die from the Basic Frames die set. Too cute!

For her card, she pulls papers from the Christmas Time apaper pad and pairs them with the clowder of felines from the Cat Christmas Tree stamp and coordinating die set. Crystal substitues an oval the center element using the Oval Frames die set.  Just love all those strands of lights!

Crystal Minkler showcases the Cat Christmas Tree stamp set and coordinating die set. She colors all her felines speCATularly.  She places them on pastel snowflakes using the Snowfall stencil. Cuteness overload!

Meowy Catmas by Danni features Newton's Stocking, Meowy Christmas, Frames Squared, and Circle Frames by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #catcards, #christmascards, #cardmaking, #holidaycards, #cardchallenge
Danni Bindel's feline card is filled with tons of stockings! She creates her square base using the Frames Squared die set and continues with stocking papers from the Meowy Christmas paper pad. She adds a large stocking with a kitty peeking out. This little guy is from the Newton's Stocking stamp and coordinating die set. She adds her sentiment on a stitched circle (Circle Frames die set).  Cute!

Debbie Owens' card features a trio of carolers from the Caroling Newton stamp set.  She creates an evening background (Frames & Flags die set) filled with shimmering snowflakes using the Snowfall stencil. She adds some snowy ground using the Land Borders die set. Her sentiment is from the Cat Christmas Tree stamp set. A wonderful scene!

Don't you love the little mouse?  She adds a plaid circle (Circle Frames die set) using paper from the  Meowy Christmas paper pad. Her red layer features postage-edging created using the Framework die set. So much holiday cuteness!

Happy holidays by Claire features Caroling Newton, Heartfelt Holidays, Forest Scene Builder, and Oval Frames by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #catcards, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #christmascards, #holidaycards
Claire Lamb was also inspired to share the singing trio from the Caroling Newton stamp and coordinating die set. For scenic background, she cuts an oval (Oval Frames die set) and distresses an evening sky filled with snow.  She adds some pine trees die cut using the Forest Scene Builder die set.  The sentiment comes from the Heartfelt Holidays stamp set. Such a wonderful, wintry scene!
