Tracy Grauer showcases the Autumn Oval stamp set in such an elegant way.  She uses the Oval Frames die set to cut various ovals including an orange gingham oval using papers from the Autumn paper pad.  The black card base and scallop-edged oval add a dramatic effect that is just beautiful!

Diane's FAVE

Tracy Grauer  is not only our randomly chosen winner of the $20 store credit, but she is also Diane's fave! Her black background and scallop-edged oval (Oval Frames die set) add a nice contrast to the orange gingham paper pulled from the Autumn paper pad.  Inside her center oval is the beautifully colored image from the Autumn Oval stamp set. The added twine and pearls add nice touches of texture!  So lovely!

Sue's FAVE

Kristi uses the Autumn Leaves die set in a beautiful way.  With a black background, she inlays different leaves in the challenge colors. She then pulls a sentiment from the retired Shades of Autumn stamp set.  The overall effect is so bold and very stunning!

Amy's FAVE

Amy Gross showcases lots of bones in her fabulous card!  She uses all the skeletal images from the Spooky Skeletons stamp set to create her background.  She then stamps the little pumpkin images from the same set in orange and the stars in yellow!  Fabulously done, Amy!

Claire's FAVE

Andrea creates this lovely card that has a nice cozy, rustic feel.  She showcases the darling kitten (colored like Andrea's very own fur baby) from the Newton's Crate stamp and coordinating die set. She then adds paper with a linen pattern that is distressed and stamped with stitching.  The brown gingham paper continues the coziness of this charming card!

Debbie's FAVE

KT Fit Kitty shows off her creative thinking with this very non-traditional Christmas card!  She embosses snowflakes on her cream card base, then adds a pretty pattern paper in the challenge colors. She adds that sweet lamb from the Fleece Navidad stamp and die set on an orange ornament using the Ornament Shaker die set. The black bow was cut using the Pines & Holly die set. For her black element, she embosses the sentiment on a little banner.  So lovely!

Use your NND products with the colors:

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Diane Morales uses a trio of the colors to make a striped background die cut using the Frames & Flags die set. She then stamps the beautiful pumpkins from the Autumn Oval stamp set which she frames with a white scallop oval using the Oval Frames die set. Her bold, crisp style is spectacular!

Sue T. uses the challenge colors in a spook-tacular way! She embosses bats on her black card stock (Flying Bats stencil) which she cuts using the postage-edge frame from the Framework die set. She die cuts a circle and has Jack-o-lanterns peeking through using the Jack-o-Lantern stencil. Enjoying all of the Halloween fun is Newton from the Newton's Perfect Pumpkin stamp and die set. She uses a sentiment from the Newton's Boo-tiful Night stamp set stamped on a speech bubble using the Speech Bubbles die set. The added white stars and moons on Newton's hat look amazing!

Hope you're not afraid of spiders because Amy Tollner's card is filled with them! Amy uses spidery paper from the Halloween Meows paper pad and die cut using the postage-edge frame from the Framework die set. She continues the spidery theme using the Spiderweb Oval stamp set die cut using the scallop frame from the Oval Frames die set. Her very brave puppy is from the Pug-kin stamp and die set. Oh, in case you missed it, there's a white spider (Newton's Perfect Pumpkin stamp set) dangling from the web! Eeek!

Claire Lamb is back with one of her amazing backgrounds!!! This one features a very large and spooky full moon! Yikes! She makes this amazing moon using the Circle Frames die set to create a mask for it. She uses greens to make the night sky and the Land Borders die set to make the grass. And who is out and about on such a scary night? Our very own Franken-Newton from the Franken-Newton stamp and die set. Fantastically scary!

To calm your nerves from all that scariness is Debbie Owens with a unique take on the challenge colors. Deb pulls the sweet gnome from the Gnome Garden stamp set and sets him among black-gingham hills and green grass using the Land Borders and Sea Borders die sets. She cuts a scalloped oval from the card base (Oval Frames die set) and has green puffy clouds in the background (Clouds stencil). Great way to showcase these fun colors!

Andrea W. wonderfully colors the kitty from the Paw-tumn Newton stamp and die set. She frames her sweet kitty with his metal milk jug filled with sunflowers with a green gingham pattern paper.  Don't you love the little leaves peeking on the ground?  Fabulously done!

Christy Roberts' choice of Newton in a pile of leaves from the Autumn Harvest stamp and die set looks so cute with the colorful leaf paper from the Autumn paper pad tucked behind him. Christy uses the dies from the Frames & Flags die set to create her layers and banner.  A delightful card to celebrate autumn!

Diane's FAVE

Avra distresses a beautiful autumn background for her sweet mouse from the Garden Mice stamp and die set. She frames her mouse with an orange scallop-edged oval frame using the Oval Frames die set. She sprinkles on some golden sprinkles to finish her pretty card!

Sue's FAVE

Meghan features the cutest raccoon and squirrel from the  Harvest Tails (retired) stamp and die set. Her sweet critters are enjoying some pumpkins and squash inside their brown oval frame (Oval Frames die set). Love the scallop-edged card base created using the A7 Frame  & Banners Die. Happy fall, indeed!

Priscilla Joseph's embossed background in those beautiful autumn colors really is eye catching and works wonderfully with the Fall Friends stamp and die set.  Don't those critters look contented as they take an afternoon nap?  She places a leaf using the Autumn Leaves die set next to her sentiment to finish off her lovely card. 

Claire's FAVE

Tracie C. showcases the Autumn Oval stamp set as a shaker card by cutting out the center of the oval.  What a great idea!  She then showcases her autumn pumpkins and leaves with a brown patterned oval frame using the Oval Frames die set and paper from the Autumn paper pad. Using the same pad of paper, she pulls a plaid paper that looks spectacular!

Are you ready to get your paws inky with us and play along to win a prize? We will chose a RANDOM entry to win a $20 store credit to our Newton's Nook Design online shop! We will also highlight our favorites from each challenge the following Monday so all entries have a chance to be featured on this blog! 

You have TWO WEEKS to play along - Deadline to enter is Friday, September 9, 2022 at Midnight CST. The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.

Here's some inspiration!  

Need to get inspired? See what our Inspiration Team created with this challenge!   Be warned--it appears several of the design team members have a fondness for vintage trucks! 

 Debbie Owens begins the vintage card parade with an olive green vintage truck from the newly released Harvest Haul stamp set.  She adds her lovely vehicle to a Kraft card base with its subtle leaves (Falling Leaves stencil) in the background. For a touch of more color, she adds strips of paper from the Autumn Paper Pad. 

 

Continuing the parade, Diane Morales colors her vintage truck from the Harvest Haul stamp and coordinating die set in shades of golden yellows. She continues with the autumn yellow with her section of plaid paper from the Autumn Paper Pad.  She leaves a lot of white space to give her card a clean, crisp feel!

Sue T.'s red vintage truck from the Harvest Haul stamp and coordinating die set ends our vintage card parade. She tucks some colorful autumn paper from the Autumn Paper Pad behind her truck. Her wood grain embossed front adds a nice rustic charm to her lovely card!

Amy Tollner changes things up by using one of the ever adorable mice from the Autumn Mice stamp and coordinating die set.  Don't you just love those rosy cheeks?  She pairs this darling image with the newly released Autumn Oval stamp set.  She uses the Oval Frames die set to create her scalloped frame.  She pulls the pretty polka dotted paper from the Autumn paper pad and cuts it with the scallop-edged frame from the Frames & Flags die set.  Has autumn ever been cuter?

Claire Lamb's card will have you heading to your local coffee shop for a pumpkin-spice coffee!  She uses the Frames & Flags die set to create her center on which she lightly distresses in autumn yellow and orange.  She adds the super cute Siamese kitty from the Newton's Mug stamp and the coordinating die set.  Doesn't  he look adorable popping his head out of his burnt red mug?  For more autumn fun, Claire adds additional mugs of coffee,  pumpkins, and the fun sentiment using products from the Love Cafe' stamp and coordinating die set and the Pumpkin Latte stamp set.
