Inky Paws Challenge #237 Favorites

Crystal's FAVE

Crystal loved the hot chocolate theme of Angy Hughes card with the bright colors and patterns of her papers!  Those fun mugs of steaming hot chocolate are from the Cup of Cocoa stamp set.  The overall card is simply scrumptious!

Danni's FAVE

Danni loved how Arlene added the die cut books (Bookmark  II die set) for the square sketch element.  Her orange card base coordinates wonderfully with the papers from the A Cat's Life paper pad. The star attraction is the bookmark with the puppy image from the All Booked Up stamp set. So, so cute!

Debbie's FAVE

Debbie loved the patterns and monochromatic color scheme of Christy's fabulous card!  To create her many patterns, Christy uses the Quatrefoil stencil, the Trailing Leaves stencil, and papers from the Pastel Basics paper pad.  Enjoying all the green is Newton from the Newton's Hanging Basket stamp and coordinating die set.  Super cute!

Amy's FAVE

 Jennifer K.'s darling card won over Amy with the reading and coffee theme. Add in a puppy and a kitten and you have an amazing card!  Jennifer used Puppy's Reading List stamp set, Coffee Shop paper pad, and Coffee Silhouettes die set.  Fabulously done!

Claire's FAVE

Claire loved Reading Newton on Jenn Borjeson's sweet card!  This little fellow is from the Newton's Book Club stamp set. She uses a wonderful assortment of feline papers, and the little newspaper is such a fun touch!  Nicely done!

Danni loves the bright fun colors of Deepti's birthday as well as her superb coloring of Newton and his birthday cake. This little fellow is from the Newton Loves Cake stamp set. A wonderful way to celebrate a special day!

Danni fell in love with the rich colors of Michelle paper selections.  Combining those papers with the sweet puppies from the Birthday Barks  stamp set creates a fabulous masculine birthday card!  Happy birthday, indeed!

Debbie's FAVE

Inkami's use of the little mug as her star attraction caught Deb's eye.  That darling mug is from the Cup of Cocoa stamp set.  Inkami then adds some festive, bold papers to showcase her cup of cheer!

Amy's FAVE

Jennifer K.'s  sweet puppy caught the eye of Amy. Jennifer uses colors from the fun papers from the Coffee House Stories paper pad to shade the books under the puppy from the Puppy's Reading List stamp set.  Don't you love the title of that book!

Claire's FAVE

The bright colors of Rick's paper choices won over Claire's heart. Those fun papers from the Halloween Time paper pad work spook-tacularly with little Newton from the Candy Corn Newton stamp and coordinating die set.  Super fun Halloween card!

Fikreta uses such bright, cheery colors for her spring card!  She uses the cute, little lamb from the \Woodland Spring retired stamp set as her focal element.  A perfect card to brighten one's day!

Inky Paws Challenge #219

 

  Welcome to a new Inky Paws Challenge!

This is a sketch challenge.

Use the challenge sketch with your NND products. 

Are you ready to get your paws inky with us and play along to win a prize? We will chose a RANDOM entry to win a $20 store credit to our Newton's Nook Design online shop! We will also highlight our favorites from each challenge the following Monday so all entries have a chance to be featured on this blog! 

You have TWO WEEKS to play along - Deadline to enter is Friday, March 29, 2024 at Midnight CST. The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.

Amy Tollner's truck from the Spring Haul Stamp and die set is filled with spring delights. Doesn't it make you want to go out and buy flowers to plant in your garden? She pairs her vintage truck with papers from the Springtime and the Spring Blooms paper pads. A fabulous way to welcome spring!

Claire Lamb showcases the sketch with a slice of summery paradise. Her distressed backdrops are gorgeous, especially with the palm trees from the Paradise Palms stamp set. Enjoying the gorgous sunset is her Siamese kitten from the Kitten Beach and coordinating die set. Both of these sets are retiring, so grab them before they are done!

Danni Bindel pulls fabulous coordinating paperrs from the A Dog's Life paper pad that work amazingly with the puppy from the Puppy's Reading List and coordinating die set. The glossy accent on the glasses is a nice touch!

Debbie Owens uses the sketch to make a darling birthday card featuring the puppy from the Paw-some Birthday stamp set. She adds coordinating papers from the Birthday Woofs paper pad atop a glittery white card stock. She finishes with a sentiment from the Birthday Roundabout stamp set. A fun way to celebrate!

Have you had a chance to make a card for our latest Inky Paws Challenge? 

Here's a refresher.

Use the challenge colors--Pink, Teal, Ice Blue, Cookie Dough Brown with your NND products.

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Claire Lamb creates a card filled with coffee mug happiness! She uses the Coffee Silhouettes die set to create all those coffee cups and mugs. For her sentiment, she creates a Kraft heart using the Heart Frames die set and stamps a sentiment from the Love Cafe stamp set. What a fun card to espresso one's creativity!




Crystal Minkler's card showcases the delightful image from the Newton's Birthday Delights stamp and coordinating die set. Crystal then pulls papers from the Love & Chocolate paper pad. She uses the Frames & Flags die set on the brown striped paper. She adds the pink and teal heart papers for a super playful card!



Anyone else in need of some spring flowers? Danni Bindel's card is blooming with some pink and teal ones! She uses the Newton's Blooms stamp and coordinating die set to create her central element. She frames her sweet feline with papers from the Love & Chocolate paper pad and die cut using the Framework die set. So fresh and beautiful!

Debbie Owens features a litttle piglet from the Oink stamp set. This little fellow is enjoying some Java Joe for his birthday treat! Those little mugs were fussy cut from the Heartfelt Coffee stamp set. Using the Frames Squared die set, Deb makes a square card base. She adds the pink confetti paper from the Birthday Meows paper pad. A few teal confetti and birthday hat (Newton's Birthday Bash stamp set) add to the birthday theme!

Amy Tollner was also inspired to make a square card using the Frames Squared die set. She goes with a puppy theme using the Puppy's Reading List stamp and coordinating die set and the Petite Paw Prints stencil. Anyone else want to partner read with this sweet-little canine?

She die cuts (Coffee Silhouettes die set) three coffee mugs and stamps the sentiment from the Love Cafe stamp set.  The whole card looks so cozy and cute!

Crafticarri designs a super fun card just perfect for the holiday season!  The fun papers work wonderfully with the dinosaur duo from the Prehistoric Christmas stamp and coordinating die set. This fun set is retiring, so grab your set before it's too late!  Thanks, Crafticarrie for showcasing this set so amazingly!

Crafticarrie's use of red and white makes for a spectacularly festive card!  All the different papers are perfect for Santa from theDear Santa stamp and coordinating die set.  Holiday cuteness!

Jennifer K. turns the sketch vertically and uses the stacks of books from the Coffee House Stories paper pad to create a library for her sweet puppy! That little fur baby is from the Puppy's Reading List stamp set. Wonderfully done!

Danni's FAVE

Tracie's choice of papers from the Christmas Time paper pad creates a nice mix of patterns and colors.  This makes for a wonderful background for the teal vintage truck from the Holiday Haul stamp and coordinating die set.  Super festive!
