Inky Paws Challenge #243 Week 4

Here's some inspiration.  

This is our last week for the current sketch challenge which can be used for so many occasions.  The IPC design team have designed five different occasions to kick-start your creativity. Let's check them out:

Danni Bindel uses the Tropical Leaves stencil to create a beautiful texture to showcase her flowers from the Floral Delights stamp and coordinating die set. She uses the Card Layout 4 and the Basic Frames die sets to create her different pieces.  Making this into a thinking-of-you card is a wonderful way to send some love thought the mail!

Debbie Owens is back with another Halloween card featuring the Haunted House die as well as the Card Layout 4 die. She showcases papers from the Halloween Party paper pad as well as the yellow glitter paper from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock. Those spooky critters are from the Trick or Treat Newton and the Trick or Treat Puppy stamp sets. This sketch is so fun to make quick, easy scenes for Halloween!

Think anniversary cards need to be made with neutral or metallic colros?  Think again!  Amy Tollner shows how bright colors work too! Amy uses the Card Layout 4 die with papers from the Birthday Woofs paper pad. She adds the celebrating couple from the Newton Celebrates stamp and coordinating die set and adds her sentiment on a tag created using the Frames & Tags die set.  Hope her parents had a wonderful day!

Claire Lamb uses the Card Layout 4 die to create a very CAS card featuring the feline from the Newton's Book Club stamp and coordinating die set. By splattering some paint on her Kraft cardstock, Claire adds just the right amount of texture!

Crystal Minkler whips up this festive birthday card using the Card Layout 4 die with the Birthday Party paper pad. She then creates some stitched circles (Circle Frames die set) and adds some birthday images from the Birthday Postage Sampler stamp and coordinating die set. Fun, festive, and easy to create!

Inky Paws Challenge #242 Week 2

 

July Challenge!

 We have a super fun colors to get your creative juices flowing! 

Use the colors: Cotton Candy Pink, Orange Sherbet, Turquoise and Royal Blue with your NND products.

This beautiful color combo is perfect for spring cards and more! Create a garden scene, try adding the colors to a birthday card or mix in a pet with brown fur! Let's check out what our Design Team created!

Crystal Minkler shows her creativity with the challenge colors with this delightful Halloween card.  She uses papers from the Halloween Party paper pad and die cuts using dies from the Framework die set. She then builds a scene using dies from the Haunted House and Spooky Sky die sets.  Enjoying this spooky scene, Crystal uses a trio of felines from the Trick or Treat Newton stamp and coordinating die set. Cuteness overload!

Danni Bindel uses the challenge colors with the Petite Flowers stencil to create the cutest backdrop for her little piglet from the Oink stamp and coordinating die set. She uses dies from the Circle Frames, the Frames & Flags, and the Banner Trio die sets.  Such a cute way to send thanks!

Debbie Owens creates a fun beachy scene with this CAS card. She lightly distresses waves using the Waves stencil.  She then uses the challenge colors to distress a sunset over the ocean on a die cut circle (Circle Frames die set). She adds the darling feline from the Newton's Sand Dollar stamp set. She finishes her card with a sentiment from the Seashell Roundabout stamp set on a banner using the Banner Trio and the Frames & Flags die sets.  What a fun way to enjoy one's day!

Amy Tollner uses pink and orange with the Tropical Leaves stencil to create such a fun backdrop for her blue jeep from the Beach Bound stamp and coordinating die set. To create her fun layout, Amy uses theFractured Card Layout die. She stamps her sentiment on a banner using the Banner Trio die set.  What a fabulous pastel paradise!

Claire Lamb uses the Flamingo Oval stamp set for her flock of flamingos!  She frames them with a scallop oval using the eOval Frames die set. The blue and white striped paper from the Seaside paper pad adds a dramatic touch for this fun, flam-azing card!

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Amy Tollner's coffee-themed card is filled with the cutest cats! This fun image is from the Caffeinated Cats stamp set. Amy creates multiple layers using papers from the Pastel Basics paper pad and cut using dies from the Basic Frames and the Frames & Tags die sets. She adds an embossed sentiment on a banner using the Frames & Flags die set. So much caffeinated cuteness!



Claire Lamb showcases the vintage truck from the Spring Haul stamp and coordinating die set. She sets her green vehicle on green grass using the Land Borders die set. Her distressed sky is set on a stitched panel die cut using the Basic Frames die set. Such a pretty spring scene!


Crystal Minkler's cheerful card is sure to brighten someone's rainy day. She pulls coordinating papers from the Spring Blooms paper pad with the central panel with the scalloped edges cut using the Framework die set. Enjoying a nice spring shower is the little puppy from the Rainy Day Doxie stamp and coordinating die set. Her sentiment was stamped on a banner using the Frames & Tags die set. A delighful card!




Danni Bindel's pink flamingo card will be sure to tickle you pink! She showcases the Flamingo Oval stamp set with a white scalloped edging using a die from the Oval Frames die set. The tropical leaves paper from the Summertime paper pad also has scallop edging using a die from the Frames & Flags die set. Such a cute card!


Debbie Owens was also inspired to use the challenge colors with those pink flamingos from the Flamingo Oval stamp set. She, too, adds a white scallop edging using a die from the Oval Frames die set. For her background, she adds lots of tropical leaves using the Tropical Leaves stencil. For a nice twist, Deb adds a scrumptious-looking cocktail using a drink from the Cocktail Mixer stamp set. A great way to celebrate the beginning of summer!

Debbie Owens uses the Palm Tree Line stencil set to create a fun tropical scene complete with pink and red striped tree trunks!  She continues with the pink and red stripes by pulling strips of paper from the Love & Chocolate paper pad. She adds a pop of blue beneath the sentiment from the Summer Moments stamp set using dies from the Circle Frames die set. A fun, creative way to use the challenge colors. 

Amy Tollner's card is definitely fla-mazing!  Surrounded by those big tropical leaves created using the Tropical Leaves stencil, those cute, pink birds are from the Flamingo Oval stamp set, and they are looking marvelous. To create her many layers, Amy uses the Oval Frames and the Frames & Flags die set. Fabulously done!

Like sprinkles? Then you are going to love Claire Lamb's card!  Using the mini images in the Newton's Donut stamp, Claire creates a tasty background of donuts and sprinkles. And guess who is enjoying those treats, our very own Newton from the same set cut using the coordinating die set.  The clean and simple style of Claire's card definitely showcases this stamp set wonderfully!

Crystal Minkler brings a festive holiday card using both polka dotted and plaid papers. Such a fun combination of papers from the Christmas Time paper pad. She showcases a trio of mugs from the Cup of Cocoa stamp set with blue and pink accents. So cute!

Danni Bindel features the beach lovin' duo from the Beach Barks stamp and coordinating die set. They look so cute decked out in their beach gear!  Danni adds "bubbles" using the Bokeh stencil set. She makes a dark red frame using the Framework die set and a sentiment red circle using the  Circle Frames die set. So cool and fun!

Claire Lamb distresses an amazing rainy background for her trio of cats from the Newton's Rainy Day Trio stamp and coordinating die set. For raindrops, she adds sequins to her shaker card and adds the sentiment on a speech bubble using a die from the Speech Bubbles die set.  She uses a die from the Framework die set to get the stitching on her center rectangle.  A-meow-zing!

 Debbie Owens uses the Cycling Friends stamp set to create her background which she layers with vellum and die cuts using the Framework die set. For her horizontal element, she adds red/white twine.  She die cuts an oval using the  Oval Frames die set and adds the same cycling critters image with a basket full of presents.  So fun!

Diane Morales designs a little tropical haven for Newton (Aloha Newton stamp and die set) to take a much needed nap!  To create this scene, she uses  the Oval Frames die set for her frame, the Sky Borders die set for the beach, and the Clouds stencil for her puffy clouds.  Diane pulls three designs from the Summertime paper pad that work perfectly with her design!

Sue T. also features the Aloha Newton stamp and die set.  She showcases the darling and talented ukulele playing kitty decked out in her pink flower and lei!  Sue creatively uses the Tropical Leaves stencil to create an oval of tropical leaves surrounding her kitty along with a splattering of pink hibiscus.  Sue keeps her card CAS by simply scoring two lines in keeping with the sketch elements.  Super creative!

Amy Tollner showcases one of the gnomes from the Gnome Garden stamp and die set. She creates a cloudy sky using the Clouds stencil and cutting it with a stitched oval die from the Oval Frames die set. She uses the butterfly paper from the Springtime paper pad and white embosses the sentiment on a black banner (Frames & Flags die set).  Her silver strip adds a nice touch of glitter to this darling card!

Ishani uses the challenge colors for a bold, eye-catching background!  The bicycling lady with her basket filled with colorful flowers from the Loads of Bloom stamp and coordinating die set looks amazing.  The little splash of red and the white-outlined clouds are wonderful touches to this lively card!

Megan K. features a perfect summer scene on a teal Polaroid atop a fun checkered background.  Her picture frame features the lounging lady from the Summer Moments stamp and coordinating die set. The large yellow sun with the yellow enameled dots work wonderfully with this image and her polka-dotted beach bag!  A CAS-style card with lots of texture!  

Diane's FAVE

Karen Guettler Carson uses the Retro Sun & Palms stencil to create this amazing scene in the challenge colors. Such a clean, crisp, creative card that utilizes the stencil in a fabulous way!  So pretty and elegant!  Just love it!

Sue's FAVE

A. Rose shows how to celebrate Halloween in a tropical setting!  So clever!  Her pumpkins from the Newton's Boo-tiful Night stamp and die set look so festive in teal, and the tropical leaves using the Tropical Leaves stencil add the tropical feel!  So creative and fun!

Amy's FAVE

Nubble Light Designs uses teal to make her bats using the Flying Bats Stencil!  {squeal!} Don't they look amazing with the yellow kitty in her green boot from the Witchy Newton stamp and die set.  Just love how these colors make such a wonderful Halloween card!
