Amy just couldn't resist Meghan K.'s card with two of her favorites--books and a dog! Meghan's card is just so cute with the puppy from the All Booked Up stamp set. Amy also used the Framework die set to create her edging. Look closely at the spines of her larger books! So clever!

Claire really liked how Holly Gerdes used the red gingham paper from the Farmyard paper pad with the bells from the Bells & Holly stamp and coordinating die set. The combination is very creative and makes for a wonderful holiday card!

Danni really liked how Tracie C. colored the Heartfelt Holidays stamp set (die cut with the Heart Frames die set) using the challenge colors as well as how the image stood out against the plaid background!  The combination definitely makes for a wonderful holiday card!

Inky Paws Challenge #235-Week 2

 

  Welcome to the December 

Inky Paws Challenge!

For the month of December, 

we have fabulous theme that can work for any occasion!



You have 2 more weeks to get creative with this great theme--Year End, aka Anything Goes!

You have until Friday, December 20, 2024 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project. 

Here's some inspiration.  

With so many holidays coming up--Hannukah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, New Year's, what will you be making in December?  Are you whipping up some last minute holiday cards, or do you need to churn out some thank you cards! This month we want to see what NND projects you make in the last few weeks of 2024. Looks like some of the ladies on the DT are having coffee cravings!  We also have a birthday card and a New Year card to inspire you!

Amy Tollner uses the A2 Card Layout 2 die to get the green border that looks amazing with the holly sprig paper from the Christmas Time paper pad.  Amy then adds eight mugs of Java Joe!  Those sweet mugs are from the Christmas Coffees stamp and coordinating die set.  So festive and fun!

Claire Lamb uses two of the same products as Amy, but look how fantastically different her card looks!  She lightly distresses the inlays in light green and light pink. Her Kraft border looks fabulous with the pinks and greens. She used the A2 Card Layout 2 die to create the border and inlays.  She then adds lots of cute mugs from the Christmas Coffees stamp and coordinating die set for this scrumptious-looking card!

Crystal's New Year card features Happy New Year and Bubbly by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #newtonsnookdesigns, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #newyearcards
Crystal Minkler uses the mini-Happy New Year stamp to create this beautiful New Year card. She creates her pink background using the Bubbly stencil. The gold embossing and sequins add to the elegance!

Danni Bindel is back with another darling birthday card! This time she show cases the vertical trio from the Birthday Barks stamp and Coordinating die set. These sweet puppies are showcased with festive papers from the Birthday Woofs paper pad. Danni adds the border using the Postage Stamp Layout die.  The overall effect is total cuteness! 

Debbie's Java Joe card features Coffee Shop and Coffee Delights by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #newtonsnookdesigns, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #coffeelovers, #coffeecards,
Debbie Owens is showcasing some of the newly released coffee products! She uses papers from the Coffee Shop paper pad to create a fun card design. She then adds the tower of mugs from the Coffee Coffee Delights stamp set and colors them similarly to the paper.  So cute!

Danni Bindel celebrates the upcoming holiday with this bright festive card! She pulls bright papers from the Christmas Basics paper pad which she cuts using dies from the Framework and the Frames & Flags die sets. With her panels in place, Danni adds a trio of caffeinated goodness using the Christmas Coffees stamp and coordinating die set. Just so cute!

Debbie's holiday card features Love & Meows, Christmas Basics, Postage Stamp Layout, Holiday Postage Sampler, Holiday Essentials, Frames & Flags, and Christmas Coffees by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnookdesigns, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardmakingideas, #cardchallenge, #coffeeloveres, #coffeecards, #holidaycards, #Christmascards
Like Danni, Debbie Owens uses a trio of coffee mugs from the Christmas Coffees stamp set for her holiday card. Deb coordinates papers from the Love & Meows and the Christmas Basics paper pads. She inverts two of the elements by using the Postage Stamp Layout die set and trimming it down for her central stripe. She uses the rounded rectangular die from the Frames & Flags  die set for her center panel. She adds the postage using the Holiday Postage Sampler stamp set and finishes with a sentiment from the Holiday Essentials stamp set. A fun take on the sketch!

They look so cute decorating their tree on Claire's distressed evening sky. She adds the stitching using a die from the Basic Frames die set. She showcases her felines with two festive papers from the Christmas Basics paper pad. A fun way to send holiday wishes!

She adds the multi-layered cake from the Newton's Birthday Delights stamp and coordinating die set with the duo of 'taste testers!'  She creates a banner (Frames & Flags die set) for her sentiment.  Such a fun, celebratory card!
