Amy's FAVE

Amy fell in love with Marcia Harlamart's little dog from the retired Puppy Friends stamp set. Marcia colored him wonderfully and placed him in some grass surrounded by pretty, pastel papers. Wonderful card!

Claire's FAVE

Kathy Schweinfurth's rainbow of bunnies had Claire falling in love! Kathy created those bunnies using the Bunny Tails stencil set. Don't you love those shiny little bunny tails?  Fabulously done!

Danni's FAVE

Danni loved Christy's card so much that she CASEd it! (Danni's card) Christy used the Postage Stamp Layout die for her design and placed the yellow basket weaved paper from the Happy Easter pack. She then used the Frame & Flags die for the scallop edging. Then she used a variety of images from the Easter Postage Sampler stamp and coordinating die set for all the panels. Absolutely darling!

Debbie's FAVE

The simplicity of Michelle Harlamart's card caught Debbie's eye. Michelle lightly distressed an area on which she places one of the darling mice from the retired Garden Mice stamp and coordinating die set. Such a pretty CAS card!

Kelly's FAVE

Carrianne Banul's use of color and the cute bunny caught Kelly's eye. Carrianne used the blue striped paper form the Coffee House Stories pad with the polka dotted paper from the A Dog's Life paper pad. The look striking together! She then adds the darling bunny from the retired Hoppy Greetings stamp and coordinating die set. Too cute!

The IPC Design Team will be taking a spring break. We will be back April 6 with some amazing colors to challenge you!

Inky Paws Challenge Week 3

 

Welcome to Inky Paws'  

April Challenge!

 Our color challenge continues! 

Use the colors: Dusty Violet, Spring Green, Sunshine Yellow, and Cocoa Brown!

You have until Friday, May 2, 2025 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project. 

Here's some inspiration.  

This beautiful color combo is perfect for spring cards and more! Create a garden scene, try adding the colors to a birthday card or mix in a pet with brown fur! Let's check out what our Design Team created!

Claire Lamb's card is filled with delightful bubbles!  She uses the feline from the Newton's Bubble Tea stamp set and coordinating die set along with the canine from the Puppy's Bubble Tea and coordinating die set. Both are so adorable drinking their colorful beverages. She adds more texture to her card by using the Bubbly stencil along with the A2 Card Layout 2 die. Such a fun way to use the colors!

Crystal Minkler creates the cutest Easter card by using the Bunny Tails stencil set to create her background of bunnies!  All those lavender tails-too cute!  She then creates three postage stamps by using the Postage Stamp Layout die and cutting them apart. She adds a trio of images from the Easter Postage Sampler stamp and coordinating die set on distressed backgrounds.  Her final touch is the sentiment using the Happy Easter die.  Absolutely adorable!

Danni Bindel uses the kitty from the Newton's Rain Boots stamp and coordinating die set. She uses the Frames & Tags die set to create her layout with papers from the Bright Basics paper pad. Newton looks so cute in his yellow boot!

Debbie Owens creates the sweetest Easter card using images from the Easter Postage Sampler and the Daffodils stamp sets. She places them on a distressed scalloped circle (Circle Frames die set). The papers from the Spring Blooms paper pad coordinate wonderfully together. Deb then pulls a sentiment from the Spring Roundabout stamp set and stamps it on the banner made using the Frames & Flags die set. Just too cute!

Amy Tollner creates this spring-filled card by using the Trailing Leaves stencil which she die cuts using the A2 Card Layout 2 die to give her card extra texture. She then uses the birdhouse images from the Birdhouse Greetings stamp and coordinating die set. Love her subtle use of yellow, lavender, and brown!

Don't forget you have until May 2 to get creative with these colors!

Dandi93's trio of bunnies and CAS style won over Deb's heart. Dandi uses the retiring Hoppy Greetings stamp set and the Bunny Tails stencil set to make this darling card!

Amy's FAVE

Christy also uses the Bunny Tails stencil set to create her vertical stripe. The cute kitty  in the basket is from the Newton's Easter Basket stamp and coordinating die set. Those darker lavender bunny tales are just too cute!

Claire's FAVE

Christine Miller's colorful balloons won over Claire. Christine pairs her kitty from the Newton's Birthday Balloons stamp set with lavender gingham and yellow polka dotted paper that go purr-fectly together!  So cute!

Crystal's FAVE

Crystal loves how Melanie H. creates her Easter wreath using eggs and tulips from the Retired Beautiful Spring stamp set. A beautiful card just perfect to celebrate Easter!

Danni's FAVE

Not only is Andrea W. our random winner, but she is also Danni's fave.  Again, the combination of papers paired with the little mouse from the Garden Mice stamp set and die set make for a sweet card! Congrats, Amanda!

Jennifer K. designs this darling spring card using strips of pattern paper for her background and the bird digital freebie for her main attraction.  The added leaves and flowers add to this pretty, spring card!

Becky's daisies from the Dainty Daisy stamp and coordinating die set are colored wonderfully, and they look so good against the diagonally striped background. She adds a spring sentiment from the Spring Roundabout stamp set. So bright and cheerful!

Crystal's FAVE

Von Marie's fluffy bunny tails (Bunny Tails stencil set ) make for the cutest background for the lavender envelope.  The little bunny poking its nose out of the green envelope (Hare Mail stamp and coordinating die set) is so, so cute!  Fabulously done!

Danielle's little feline from the Newton Celebrates stamp and coordinating die set is celebrating in style! To create the celebratory scene, Danielle uses the Petite Paw Prints stencil set and the Confetti stencil set. She also uses the Heart Frames die set.  Such a fun combination of products for a birthday card!

Diane's FAVE

Becca creates an easel card that is so pretty and fresh.  She showcases the Spring Blooms Oval stamp set and colors the flowers so prettily. Fabulously designed card!

Avra's card captured Diane's eye with its clean and simple design packed with a lot of spring beauty!  Avra uses the Floral Roundabout stamp set with the green striped paper from the Springtime paper pad for her beautiful card!

Julie S.'s card is also Amy's favorite pick!  Julie's sweet scene with the critters from the retiring Woodland Picnic stamp and coordinating die set make for a delightful spring card! So cleanly and brightly done!

Claire's FAVE

Meghan K. won over Claire's heart with all those bunny bums!  Meghan combines the Bunny Tails stencil set with the little bunny from the Bunny Hop stamp set to create this fabulous Easter card.  She pulls the perfect sentiment from the Bitty Bunnies stamp set. Her pretty pink polka-dotted paper is cut using the postage-edge die from the Framework die set. So darling!

Crystal's FAVE

Crystal loved the creativity of Jennifer K.'s card.  Jennifer repurposed the Newton Celebrates stamp set by making the champagne bottle into a little vase for those pretty spring blooms.  The pale green paper adds another nice spring touch to this darling card!

Debbie's FAVE

Dandi's use of light- blue plaid paper with the bright red tulips from the Tulips and coordinating die set caught Deb's eye as well as the clean crispness of the design. The little butterfly was a sweet touch to this lovely duo!
