Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Peace & Joy by Claire features Flower Trio, PInes & Holly, Frames & Flags, and Christmas Nap die set by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #floralcards, #cardmaking, #holidaycards, #christmascards
Claire Lamb creates this spectacular card using only dies!  Wow!  She creates a stitched card base using the Frames & Flags die set and lightly adds some splatters for texture.  She then creates a beautiful floral arrangement by layering flower die cuts from the Flower Trio die set for her poinsettia. She adds foliage using the Pines & Holly die set.  She uses the word dies from the Christmas Nap die set in glittery gold paper for her sentiment.  Spectacularly done!



Fall is my favorite color by Debbie features Harvest Haul, Plaid, Circle Frames, Fall Fringe, Frames & Flags, and Pumpkin Latte by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #autumncards, #fallcards, #cardmaking, #truckcards, #vintagecarcards
Debbie Owens' plaid background (Plaid Stencil) gives her card a warm, autumn feel.  She adds a blue vintage truck (Harvest Haul stamp set) filled with a bushel of dark red apples and a pile of coral-colored pumpkins. To complete her card, she uses the Circle Frames die set for the Kraft circle, Frames & Flags die set for the card base, and a sentiment pulled from the Fall Fringe stamp set.  A beautiful card with a warm, flannel feel!




'Tis the season to pile on the holiday cheer by Diane features Holiday Heights, Snowflake Oval, and Oval Frames by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #snowmancards, #holidaycards, #christmascards, #puppycards, #cardmaking
Diane Morales cuts strips of paper in the challenge colors for a fabulous striped background.  Look closely and you'll see subtle snowflakes floating down.  She then adds the Snowflake Oval stamp set atop a scalloped frame (Oval Frames die set).  The darling snowman and puppy image comes from the newly released Holiday Heights stamp and coordinating die set. Don't you love how the snowman's scarf mimics the stripes of the background?  A red wine banner with the embossed sentiment completes this playful card!



Wishing you a long & joyful holiday season by Amy features Holiday Hounds, Petite Snow, Slimline Frames & Portholes, and Slimline Masking Circles & Squares by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #dogcards, #holidaycards, #cardmaking, #christmascards
Amy Tollner adds a pair of Dachshund puppies from the Holiday Hounds stamp and coordinating die set on her long slimline card featuring dies from the Slimline Frames and Portholes die set.  Using the Slimline Masking Circles and Squares stencil set, Amy distresses a light blue sky complete with tiny snowflakes using the Petite Snow stencil.  Such a sweet, serene scene!

With patriotic floral paper, Debbie Owens mimics the flowers by combining the Roses and Dainty Daisies stamp sets. She die cuts her layers using the scallop-edged frame from the Frames & Flags die set, and stamps the sentiment from the Birthday Essentials stamp on a white banner. The jute twine adds a nice country touch!



Have a blast by Diane features Newton's 4th of July, Circle Frames, Frames & Flags, Coffee House Stories, and  Love & Meows by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #4thofjulycards, #cardmaking, #catcards
Diane Morales has Newton (Newton's 4th of July stamp and die set) enjoying the holiday! Diane uses papers from the Coffee House Stories and the Love & Meows paper pads with dies from the Circle Frames and Frames & Flags die sets to create her festive layout. This fun card could be used for the 4th of July or a birthday!

Sue T. uses the firework blooms from the Newton's 4th of July stamp and coordinating die set to create the festive background. The kitten and puppy from this same set look like they are enjoying the festivities in their little red wagon!  A spattering of gems and star-shaped jewels add the purr-fect bit of shimmer!

Amy Tollner has her kitten (Newton's 4th of July stamp and die set) rocketing through a shimmery nighttime sky filled with fireworks (Fireworks stencil). She uses the large frame die from the Framework die set to achieve the postage-edging. She finishes with a sentiment from the Birthday Essentials stamp set and some sequins!

Claire Lamb uses the challenge colors in a very unique and beautiful way. She pulls the blue jay from the Winter Birds stamp and coordinating die set and places him among layers of beautiful blue leaves (Fall Friends die set) and red holly sprigs. Look closely and you'll spy some snowflakes made using the Petite Snow stencil. Spectacular!

Diane Morales reminds us the importance of reflecting on the good things in life while enjoying a cup of coffee. Using the coffee bean paper from the newly released Coffee House Stories paper pad, she creates her trio of rectangles. She then adds a coffee craft and orange mug from the newly released Time for Coffee stamp and die set. She frames them using the scallop-edged die from the Framework die set. Now sit back and enjoy.

Looks like Newton is have snow much fun as he makes snow angels on the snowflake embossed background and shimmering silver panels.  Deb pulls the sentiment from the Moose Mountain stamp set and embosses it on vellum with a shiny frame die cut using the scallop-edged die from the Framework die set. Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 


Catch the purr-fect wave by Claire features Newton's Perfect Wave, Land Borders, Sea Borders, and Frames Squares by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #catcards
Claire Lamb provides us a beach scene that will have your yearning to take your own beach trip! She beings with the sun rays using the Sunscape stencil shining up from the waves die cut using the  Sea Borders die sets.  Using the Land Borders, she creates the sandy beach for her Siamese kitten to walk upon.  That darling kitty is from the Newton's Perfect Wave stamp and die set.  She stamps the sentiment on the sun using the circular die from the Frames Squared die set. She tucks it behind a wave making for a beautiful sunrise!  



The talk around the hen house by Debbie features Cluck, Framework,  Frames & Flags, and Speech Bubbles by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #birthdaycards, #cardmaking
Using chicken and farm-themed papers, Debbie Owens creates a fun background setting for the trio of chickens from the Cluck stamp set. She then adds a speech bubble on a chicken-wire paper and die cut using the Speech Bubbles die set. On the same paper, she die cuts a banner for the rest of the sentiment using the small banner die from the Frames & Flags die set.  Like the postage-edged layer?  Deb uses the large die from the Framework die set.  This sketch is a fabulous way to use some of your fun pattern papers!




Let's Chill by Diane features Frames & Flags, Summer Scoops, Speech Bubbles, and Petite Snow by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #inkypaws, #cardmaking, #summercards
Summer is just around the corner, and Diane Morales gets us ready for the season with this scrumptious ice cream card! Set on a scallop-edged card base die cut using the large die from the Frames & Flags die set, Diane adds a white panel and a pink banner that she has lightly stamped the sprinkles and hearts from the Summer Scoops stamp set.  Her featured elements are the ice cream treats from same stamp set colored in yummy pastel colors. She die cuts her treats using the coordinating die set. She stamps the sentiment on a speech bubble die cut using the Speech Bubbles die set. For added texture, she uses the 
Petite Snow stencil on her white and yellow layers.  Deliciously done, Diane!




Let's Celebrate by Sue features Happy Little Thoughts, Newton's Valentine, and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking 
Using the floral wreath from the Happy Little Thoughts stamp and die set is a brilliant way to incorporate the circle elements in the sketch.  Sue T. then adds two yellow birds using the bird from the Newton's Valentine stamp and cut using the coordinating  die set. She places these elements on a pink floral background with a green banner die cut with the large banner from the Frames & Flags die set. A beautiful way to celebrate today!




Let's be mermaids by Amy features Purr-maid Newton, Circle Frames, and Seashells by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #catcards
Using cool colors, Amy Tollner takes under the sea for a delightful scene filled with the sweetest purr-maids!  On a teal card base, Amy adds purple shells using the Seashells stencil.  Look closely, and you'll spy a bit of glitter on those seashells!  She then adds two water-splattered distress circles die cut using the Circle Frames die set. Now to those sweet purr-maids!  They are from the Purr-maid Newton stamp and coordinating die set. Amy adds some extra underwater critters to complete her watery scene!  Delightfully done!

Have a cozy day by Amy features A Cozy Day, Forest Scene Builder, Petite Snow, Frames and Flags, and Land Borders; #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #winter
Amy Tollner shows us how to spend a wintry day--snuggled up reading a book!  Set on a teal base die cut using the scallop-edged frame die from the Frames & Flags die set, she adds a window frame with a winter scene outside. The snow is made using the Petite Snow stencil. The hilly ground uses the Land Borders die set, and the trees were made using the Forest Scene Builder die set. Inside away from the chilly elements is the image from the A Cozy Day stamp set shaded in soft pastel hues. Don't you just want to curl up in that chair too?  




Baby, it's cold outside by Becky features Frozen Friends and Snowfall by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #inkypaws, #cardmaking
Becky Noelle creates a snowy card by using the Snowfall stencil for her falling snow.  She then adds lots of snow people from the Frozen Friends stamp set. She shades each scarf in a color of the rainbow, and the effect is spectacular!

 Debbie Owens begins with a teal plaid paper die cut using the postage-edged die from the Framework die set. She then adds a wood grain paper die cut using the rounded-corner die from 
Frames Squared die set. She uses the image from Fireside Friends stamp set.  Don't her critters on the teal throw rug look sweet as they soak up the heat?  She adds a jute twine bow to add a bit of country charm.

Diane Morales goes with a pink and teal color scheme that is so cheery and bright!  Using the Frames Squared die set, she creates her square base.  She adds some hilly terrain using the Land Borders die set.  Her trio of kitties all cozy on their sled from the Newton's Toboggan stamp and die set are all set for some wintry fun!  The little pink banner was die cut using a die from the Frames & Flags die set. Cuteness!




It's a hot chocolate kind of day by Sue T. features Cup of Cocoa by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #cardmaking
Sue T.'s card is filled with mugs of hot chocolate--the perfect drink on a cold, wintry day!  Sue uses three mugs from the Cup of Cocoa stamp and die set. With the trio of squares aligned vertically, she adds a splattering of snowflakes.  The mugs are popped up with foam tape to add a nice dimension to this savory card!

 Debbie Owens leaves her comfort zone of kitties by bring us this darling puppy card! Using the Circle Frames die set, she creates a circle card filled with holiday fun. In red, lime, and green, she shades the holiday images stamped using the Christmas Roundabout stamp set. Her main attraction is the Christmas canine from the Christmas Puppies stamp set. A super fun way to wish a dog-lovin' a Merry Woof-mas!




Across the miles by Diane features Destination Christmas by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #tagmaking, #vintagecars
Diane Morales showcases the VW bus from the Destination Christmas stamp set on her CAS tag. (So loving these vintage vehicles!) She layers her tag with layers of red and lime green.  Such a playful way to use the challenge colors!




Happy Holidays by Sue T. features Sentiments of the Season, Petite Snow, Poinsettia Blooms, and Circle Frames by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #christmas, #cardmaking, #stencils
Sue T. gives us a classic card using the Poinsettia Blooms stamp and die set. She places her gorgeous flowers on a circle die cut with the lime snowflakes using the Petite Snow stencil. She places all on a green scallop-edged circle, again using the Circle Frames die set. She stamps the sentiment from the Sentiments of the Seasons stamp set in bold black.  A beautiful card for the upcoming season!




Deck the halls by Becky features Tiny Trees and Ornamental Wishes by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #christmas, #cardmaking
 Becky Noelle is back with her amazing stenciling skills. For her card, she showcases the newly released Tiny Trees stencil. She magically creates two-toned trees in lime and green.  She goes back and adds some red dot accents to a few of her trees.  She then embosses the sentiment from the Ornamental Wishes stamp set in white on a red card stock. She fussy cuts the sentiment and adds dimension with foam tape!  Don't you love the modern feel of this card?

Crystal Komara begins her darling card with a lime-green argyle paper that works perfectly for this challenge. She continues with a scallop-edged rectangle from the Frames & Flags die set. Then she showcases the pair of nutcrackers from the Nutcrackers stamp and die set in red and greens.  Using the coordinating die  set, she cuts out the sentiment in red.  Fabulous way to use the challenge colors!

Diane Morales creates a wintry haven for this trio of penguins! Using the Petite Snow stencil, Diane creates a snowy background. She then adds those big fir trees using the Evergreens stencil. Diane uses a third stencil, Mountains, to create a snowy landscape on which her softly colored penguins from the Penguin Pile stamp set can stand on. She embosses the sentiment from the Thankful Thoughts stamp set.

Have you ever seen a hand standing snowman?  Well,  Sue T. captures the inner child with her playful card that features just such a snowman!  Using the snowman from Frozen Friends stamp set, she places him upside down in a pile of snow created using the Sea Borders die set. The snowy sky was created using the Petite Snow stencil!  Such a wonderful card!


Holiday Wishes to Deer Friends by Becky features Festive Fawns and Snowfall by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
The big, wintry snowflakes make for a perfect background for Becky Noelle's festive card. Becky uses the Snowfall stencil with opal foil for her background. She adds the snowman with his forest friends from the Festive Fawns stamp set. She adds red, scalloped edging on the bottom of her panel that ties the red scarf together wonderfully!



You're snow much fun by Bobbi features Petite Snow, Frozen Fellowship, Speech Bubbles, and Moose Mountain by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Bobbi Lemanski  creates a 5" x 7" card that is packed with snowmen delight!  Using the Petite Snow stencil with embossing paste, she creates a wintry night sky. She then stamps the Frozen Fellowship stamp set twice to create an extra large gathering of snowy people! She colors their accessories in shades of red and green for a Christmas feel. She adds a speech bubble using the Speech Bubbles die set and adds a sentiment from the Moose Mountain stamp set for the sentiment.

Looks like this feline from Newton's Curious Christmas stamp set is helping his friend hang up his holiday stocking!  Debbie Owens creates this whimsical card by using the Petite Snow stencil for her background. She adds some birch trees using the Forest Scene Builder die set and hangs a stocking between them. The stocking was cut from the Stylish Stockings die set on which the wee little snowman from the Snow Globe Scenes stamp set was stamped. She creates some hills using the Land Borders die set and adds lots of glitter. She also adds glitter to the sentiment using the Holiday Greetings die set.
