Create a project using the colors--

Teal, Red, Pink, and White

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Claire Lamb uses the Frames Squared die set to created a square card filled with cuteness. From the red and white polka dotted paper to her sweetly colored critters from the Porch Swing Friends stamp set, her card is a fabulous way to send a hello greeting to a friend or family member!

 Debbie Owens combines several die sets to for her card. She starts with the Frames & Windows die set for her teal background, adds several hearts using the Darling Hearts die set. Little banners using the Banners Trio die set are used to stamp sentiments from the Birthday Essentials stamp set.  She uses the Waves stencil for teal waves in which her lovely shrimp from the Shrimp Cocktails stamp set are enjoying a nice cherry martini!  She adds a little heart image from the Happy Little Thoughts stamp set. Cheers!

Diane Morales stripes in the challenge colors look amazing especially with the hearts from the Tumbling Hearts stencil and die cut using the scallop-edged die from the Frames & Flags die set.  She adds the rose image from the Roses stamp and die set.  She leaves the roses white, which contrasts wonderfully against the backdrop!  The sentiment was stamped a banner die cut using the banner from the Banner Trio die set.  Spectacularly done!

Sue T. colors the flowers in the Floral Roundabout stamp set in the challenge colors, and they look amazing!  She then uses the Darling Hearts die set to cut out the center. She die cuts the word love from the Darling Hearts die set and creatively stamps words from the Floral Fringe stamp set to customize her sentiment. She uses the Frames Squared die set to create the square frame and scalloped layer.  A beautiful way to show a loved one you care!

Amy Tollner uses the Tumbling Hearts stencil in teal and die cuts using the postage-edged die from the Framework die set. She adds a vellum layer to soften the background. She adds banners using the Frames & Flags die set. Don't you just love the glittery red?  The sweet white kitty from the Newton's Valentine stamp and die set steals the show playing with the pastel pink heart.  The red birdie is a perfect added pop of color!  Who wouldn't want to be this kitty's Valentine?

Twiddlers Nook creates an amazing watermelon-like background using water colors She uses the newly released Newton's Watermelon stamp and die set.  Newton looks like his is enjoying his melon.  The watermelon seeds as raindrops make for the perfect final touch!

Angie creates this spectacular CAS card with Newton from the Newton Scoots By stamp and die set

zooming off with the exhaust fumes swirling behind him!  Angie adds the birthday sentient form Newton's Birthday Flutter stamp set along with some shimmering stars for her final touches!

Bobbi's FAVE

Who wants to join this party in the sea?  Mary Reiner creates this fun party using the newly released 
Shrimp Cocktail stamp and die set. She creates some rays of sun and places the sentiment on a fluffy cloud!  For her water, she uses the Waves & Splashes stencil.  Such a fun, bright card!


Debbie's FAVE

Twiddlers Nook creates this fabulous underwater card!  She uses a wood grain paper for her background then adds a porthole with a nice metal-looking frame.  Looking through the porthole, you spy Newton from the  Scuba Newton stamp and die set enjoying the delights of the sea!

Diane's FAVE

Ava Williams shows us just how much fun one can have on a floaty! Ava creates a subtle cloudy blue sky then adds some fun waves using the Waves & Splashes stencil. She then adds her sweet goat from the Floaty Goat stamp and die set with dimensional tape! Time to play!

Inky Paws Challenge #103 Reminder

for our current challenge!

Theme Challenge

Create a project using the theme--Summer.

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge!

Sue T. takes us to the lake for the summer with this sweet card.  She dies cuts her scallop-edge layer using the Frames & Flags die set and a blue & brown plaid pattern paper. She then die cuts a white layer using the Frames & Flags die set again.  She creates her green hills and watery waves using the Sea Borders die set.  She adds cattails, a lily pad, and Winston rowing his canoe from the  Winston's Lake House stamp and die set.  She stamps her sentiment on a white circle that was die cut using the Frames Squared die set.

Becky Noelle splatters white paint on her Kraft base to give her card some texture.  She then stamps and vibrantly colors the hibiscus flowers and pineapples from the Tropical Fringe stamp set. She then uses circle dies to create the ring which she adheres to the edge of her base.  She stamps the sentiment inside the ring. Such a creative way to use the Tropical Fringe stamp set.

Bobbi Lemanski creates a bridge card to celebrate the joys of summer.  She amazingly distresses a vibrant sunset background with twinkling stars.  She stamps several silhouette palm trees from the Paradise Palms stamp set to finish the perfect setting for the corgis from the Corgi Beach stamp and die set to perform a dance at an evening luau.  She then uses the Tropical Fringe stamp set and cuts it out in a circle and stamps her sentiment.

Debbie Owens creates this watery card perfect for these surfer felines to enjoy!  Using the Frames & Flags die set to create the scallop-edged base, she uses the  Waves & Splashes stencil and distress inks to create some fun waves as well as a sandy beach.  She then adds two surfing images from the Newton's Perfect Wave stamp.  She embosses the sentiment and adheres a sand dollar and shell from the Vitamin Sea stamp set.

Newton is checking out the "Sandy Bottom Club" in Diane Morales fabulous underwater card. Using the Clouds and Waves & Splashes stencils, Diane creates a remarkable underwater background which Newton in his scuba gear (Scuba Newton stamp and die set) spies some shrimp from the Shrimp Cocktail stamp and die set partying! This is all adhered to a white scallop-edged base using the Frames & Flags die set.

 Miss Boo is this challenge's lucky winner with this fabulous Christmas card.  Using a red, green, and cream color scheme, Miss Boo uses festive holiday patter papers to create the challenge sketch foundation. She then stamps and colors Winston from the Winston's Home for Christmas stamp set. as well as the sentiment. She finishes with a couple of banners and cream ribbon.

Inky Paws Challenge #102 Favorites

Diane's FAVE

Andrea W.  was also inspired to create a Christmas card using the challenge sketch. She uses a fabulous collection of holiday pattern papers that provides a festive background for the Santa image from the 

Santa Paws Newton stamp and die set.  She adds the North Pole image to her smaller circle and stamps the sentiment on a small banner. 

Sue's FAVE

We just love the bright, citrus colors of Mary's card which is so cooling for hot weather. She begins with a yellow base panel on which she adds a green/yellow green pattern paper. She then adds rays of sunshine peeking out from a white circular layer. Her main attraction is a lemon and lemon slice from the newly released Lemon Twist stamp set. She adds the sentiment on a white banner. 

Becky's FAVE

Amy T .'s creations will have you longing to visit the beach!  She begins by adding a shimmery texture using the Seashells stencil on which she adds a brown and a pattern paper layer.  She creates her banner using the Frames & Flags die set and adds the sentiment from the 

Newton's Summer Vacation stamp set. The heart of her card are the two circle that features the kitty and bucket from the Newton's Summer vacation stamp set.  She uses gold glitter and gold glitter paste for the sand that adds an amazing amount of bling!  

Bobbi's FAVE

Kimmie B.  gives us a fabulous birthday card using the Llama Delivery stamp and die set. She begins with a dark blue base and adds coordinating pattern papers. She colors her darling llama in the same color scheme before adding a trio of blue birds from the Newton's Birthday Flutter stamp set. She also adds the sentiment from this set. She balances her card by adding a stack of packages from the Llama Delivery stamp and die set.

Kimmie B. brings us another superb card. This time she wows us with her color combination as well as the combination of pattern papers. Behind the cute shrimp, she uses a light brown distress ink with  the Serene Stripes stencil. She adds the little shrimp Shrimp Cocktails stamp and die set using a spinner so he turns! She a porthole trim to frame him. She adds little shells from the Corgi Beach stamp set. She finishes with the sentiment on a banner!
