Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge!

 Diane Morales uses the Circle Frames die set to create her circular card packed full of cucurbits. She pairs the squash & pumpkin paper (Autumn paper pad) with Newton in his crate full of pumpkins (Newton's Crate stamp and die set). She scatters extra pumpkins around the crate (Paw-tumn Newton stamp and die set).  Purr-fectly done, Diane!



Fall Blessings by Sue features Autumn Mice, Autumn, and Jack-o-Lantern by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #micecards, #autumncards, #cardmaking
Sue T.'s CAS autumn card showcases the cute little mouse from the Autumn Mice stamp and die set. She creates a little pumpkin patch behind him using the newly released Jack-o-Lantern stencil set. Her brown, plaid Washi tape is combined with a strip of leaf paper from the Autumn paper pad. She pulls the sentiment from the Fall Roundabout stamp set to complete her darling fall card!



Pumpkin patch by Amy features Signs of Fall, Pumpkin Latte, Falling Leaves, Fall Roundabout, Frames & Flags, Banner Trio by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #pumpkincards, #coffeecards, #autumncards, #cardmaking
Amy Tollner combines the Signs of Fall stamp and die set with the Pumpkin Latte stamp and die set to create her autumn card that is spectacularly colored! She uses the Falling Leaves stencil in shades of autumn to create her background that is die cut using the scallop-edged frame from the Frames & Flags die set. She stamps her sentiment (Fall Roundabout stamp set) on a brown banner (Banner Trio die set).  Don't you love all the shades of autumn on Amy's card?



May the colors of fall bring you a harvest of joy by Claire features Frames Squared, Oval Frames, and Harvest Haul by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #vintagecarscards, #autumncards, #truckcards, #cardmaking
Claire Lamb designs a twilight background for her vintage truck from the Harvest Haul stamp and die set.  She uses the Oval Frames die set to create the country road and the scallop-edged square frame from the Frames Squared die set. Can't you just imagine the leaves scattering about as the truck cruises home after a fun day in the fields?

 

Pumpkin spice and everything nice by Debbie features Newton Loves Coffee, Newton's Crate, Pumpkin Latte, Newton's Thanksgiving, Falling Leaves, Autumn, Circle Frames by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #autumncards, #coffeecards, catcards, #cardmaking
 From field to tummy, Debbie Owens' card is packed full of pumpkin cuteness! After harvesting a crate of pumpkins (Newton's Crate stamp set), Newton (Newton's Thanksgiving stamp set) appears to have enjoyed the by-products of his hard work- pumpkin pie and a cup of pumpkin-spiced coffee (Newton Loves Coffee stamp set). Deb uses the Pumpkin Latte stamp set for the sentiment and extra pumpkins.  In addition, she uses the Circle Frames die set to cut the scalloped plaid circle (Autumn paper pad) and adds yellow leaves (Falling Leaves stencil) to the background. Hope Newton didn't get a tummy ache!

Inky Paws Challenge #133 Winners

Bhavya features bright colors of purple, pink, golden yellow, and orange for her fabulous fall card. She showcases the gray tabby kitten from the Autumn Newton stamp set.  Doesn't he look adorable in those colorful leaves on the distressed background?  A lovely way to celebrate fall!

Autumn wishes by Angie Cimbalo feature Beautiful Leaves by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Angie Cimbalo creates a striking autumn CAS card.  Her water coloring of the leaves from the Beautiful Leaves stamp in autumn colors are just gorgeous.  She uses the coordinating die to cut them and add them to the card.  Fabulously done!

Hello sunshine by Farhana features Sunflower Days by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Farhana delights with her lovely autumn card featuring the flowers from the Sunflower Days stamp set.  Her combination of pink and yellow with the sunflower is a beautiful color combination!  She adds some pearls for an added touch of elegance!  Beautiful!

Happy pumpkin spice season by Claire L. features Pumpkin Latte by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Claire L.'s CAS pumpkin spice card is just darling. She uses the pumpkin image from the Pumpkin Latte stamp set and some creative masking to add more pumpkins to the coffee-lovin' lady's arms. Her distress background adds a nice contrast. Don't you love the pumpkins falling from the stack?  I can so relate!

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge! 


Happy Fall by Diane features Fall Roundabout, Newton's Flower Garden, Circle Frames, Frames & Flags, and Framework by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Diane Morales uses the postage-edge frame die from the Framework die set to begin her card. She stamps and colors the falling leaves from the Fall Roundabout stamp set in gorgeous autumn colors. She adds the scalloped circle die cut from the Circle Frames die set.  In the center, she adds Newton from the Newton's Flower Garden stamp and die set enjoying some autumn flowers.  She makes a vertical banner die cut using the Frames & Flags die set and stamps the "Happy Fall" sentiment.  Total cuteness!



Grateful for you by Sue T. features Fall Roundabout, Paw-tumn Newton, and Framework by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Sue T. showcases the image from the Paw-tumn Newton stamp and die set. She adds a black banner with a white embossed sentiment from the Fall Roundabout stamp set. She die cuts the postage-edged white frame using the die from the Framework die set. Such a pretty clean, crisp autumn card!


Happy Fall by Becky features Fall Roundabout, Harvest Tails, and Slimline Frames & Windows by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Becky Noelle also uses the Fall Roundabout stamp set for her autumn card. Her use of copper embossing powder add a perfect touch of elegance to her leaves. She frames her falling leaves using the window panel from the Slimline Frames & Windows die set. She pulls the "Happy Fall" sentiment from the Harvest Tails stamp set and stamps it on the banner.  A festive and fabulous fall card!

Crystal Komara combines wood grain paper, plaid, and gingham papers for a fabulous setting for her trio of mice.  She uses the window panel die from the Slimline Frames & Windows die set for her trio of windows.  In each, she adds a busy mouse from Autumn Mice stamp and die set hurriedly getting ready for autumn! Adorable!


Nuts about you by Debbie features Harvest Tails, Slimline Frames & Windows, Autumn Leaves, Land Borders, and Slimline Frames & Portholes by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Debbie Owens combines dies from the Slimline Frames & Portholes and Slimline Frames & Windows die sets to create her olive green frame with grass die cut using the Land Borders die set. She distresses the panels in yellow and adds leaves and acorns from the Autumn Leaves die set in the outermost corners. She then stamps and fussy cuts three acorn-laden squirrels from the Harvest Tails stamp set. She also stamps and cuts out the deer and places a squirrel inside the wagon.  Such a fun scene of squirrels getting ready for winter!

Inky Paws Challenge #133

This biweekly challenge is a:

Are you ready to get your paws inky with us and play along to win a prize? We will chose a RANDOM entry to win a $20 store credit to our Newton's Nook Design online shop! We will also highlight our favorites from each challenge the following Monday so all entries have a chance to be featured on this blog! 


You have TWO WEEKS to play along - Deadline to enter is Friday, October 9, 2020 at Midnight CST. The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.

With the striped backdrop cut withe scallop-edged die from the Frame & Flags die set, Diane Morales creates a serene scene with her yellow truck from the Farming Fun stamp and die set taking center stage on a circle frame using the Circle Frames die set. She fills the bed of the truck with a giant pumpkin from the Harvest Tails stamp and die set. She uses the Land Borders die set to create a small green hill. She adds extra pumpkins and leaves fluttering around her card using the smaller elements from the Paw-tumn Newton stamp and coordinating die set. She stamps the "Welcome Autumn" sentiment from the Fall Roundabout stamp set on the rounded banner die in the Banner Trio die set. A fun way to bring in the new season!



Fall blessings by Sue T. features Circle Frames and Fall Roundabout by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Sue T. creates a circle card on Kraft card stock using the Circle Frames die set. She stamps the fall circular image from the Fall Roundabout stamp set on four different colored papers. She cuts them in strips and reassembles them in a circle which makes for a fabulous backdrop.  She cuts a dark brown strip with scallop-edges and heat embosses the "Fall Blessings" sentiment. She uses dimensional tape to create dimension for a fabulous fall card!



Every year by Becky features Fancy Edges Tag, Fall-ing for You, and Falling Leaves by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Becky Noelle is back with her spectacular use of stencils!  For this card, she uses the Falling Leaves stencil on a wood veneer paper.  After she uses many colored distress inks for her leaves, she hand draws the veins on each leaf!  Gorgeous!  She then uses the Fancy Edges Tag die set to create a vellum tag with the poem from the Fall-ing for You stamp set embossed in white. She adds stitching to the bottom of her tag and jute for her bow at the top.  Don't you just love the mix of textures and rich colors?!



Take delight in the small things by Crystal features Hummingbird and Slimline Frames & Windows by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Crystal Komara uses gold foil paper die cute from the Slimline Frames & Windows die set to create her trio of windows. In the background, she uses goldenrod yellow gingham for a country feel. She uses Copic markers to color the sweet bird from the Hummingbird stamp and die set and stamps multiple stems of flowers and arranges them up her vertical card. A beautiful autumn card with a touch of golden elegance!




Happy Paw-tumn features Houndstooth, Paw-tumn Newton, and Framework by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
 Debbie Owens begins her card with a steel-gray base.  Using the Houndstooth Stencil, she distresses uses a light brown which coordinates with the center of her flowers. She die cuts this layer using the postage-edge die out of the Framework die set. She adds her autumn image from the Paw-tumn Newton stamp set. She adds olive green ribbon and stamps the sentiment on a die-cut banner from the Banner Trio die set.  A sweet country fall card!
