Marcia really embraces the turquoise colors with her different patterns of paper.  She then adds a trio of puppies from the Spring Heights stamp and coordinating die set. She pulls in the other challenge colors by shading in elements of the image.  Such an adorable card!

Ellen 
uses the challenge colors with the Seashells stencil to create a perfect background for this beach-lovin' feline! That cute kitty is from the retired Newton's Seashell stamp set. She pulls a sentiment and sand dollar from the retired Tranquil Tides stamp set. Such a fun oceany card!

Debbie Owens uses the Floral Lace stencil to create her amazing distressed background in the challenge colors.  She adds a sprig of yellow roses from the Roses stamp set with a sentiment banner (Frames & Flagsbeneath. She creates the square card base using the Frames Squared die set. The subtle floral lace compliments the roses wonderfully!



Let love bloom by Diane features Heartfelt Roses, Heart Frames, Serene Stripes, and Banner Trio by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #shapedcards, #floralcards, #cardmaking,
Diane Morales was also inspired to use yellow roses on her design.  Diane opts for the Heartfelt Roses stamp set that has been placed on layers created using the Heart Frames die set. For added texture, she uses the Serene Stripes stencil on her blue card base.  She pulls the dimensional banner from the Banner Trio die set for her sentiment.  A beautiful heart-shaped card!



Happy Mother's Day by Amy features Loads of Blooms, Newton's Birdbath, Spring Garden Line, Clouds, Banner Trio, Frames & Flags, and Mom & Dad by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #floralcards, #mothersdaycards, #cardmaking, #springcards
Amy Tollner's card is bursting with tulips!  On a scallop-edged frame (Frames & Flags die set), Amy makes fluffy clouds (Clouds stencil) and a garden of tulips using the Spring Garden Line stencil. She then showcases one of the ladies from the Loads of Blooms stamp and coordinating die set who has been enjoying a day of picking tulips from her garden. Also enjoying the tulips are two little butterflies from the Newton's Birdbath stamp and coordinating die set. Amy pulls the Mother's Day sentiment from the Mom & Dad stamp set and stamps it on a banner from the Banner Trio die set. A pretty way to send love to one's mother!



Feeling under the weather? by Claire features Newton's Rainy Day Trio and Newton's Umbrella by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #springcards, #catcards, #rainydaycards, #cardmaking
Claire Lamb creates the most amazing rainy day scene!  She uses the trio of puddle-stomping cats from the Newton's Rainy Day Trio stamp and coordinating die set. The reflection of this trio is spectacularly done as is the rain!  She pulls sentiments from the Newton's Umbrella stamp set.  Anyone else want to take coloring classes from Claire?  😺


May your spring be filled with sunshine and blooms by Crystal features Frames & Flags, Spring Haul, Circle Frames, and Spring Blooms by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #springcards, #summercards, #vintagetruckcards, #cardmaking
Crystal O. Minkler's vintage blue truck from the Spring Haul stamp set is filled with pretty yellow flowers.  Her green and white gingham blanket is a great way to incorporate green into her design.  Crystal uses the yellow gingham paper from the Spring Blooms paper pad for the card base.  The Frames & Flags die set was used for the sentiment, and the Circle Frames die set for the circular elements.  A beautiful way to enjoy a spring day!

Inky Paws Challenge #142

Diane Morales creates a water colored background in shades of greens and teals. She uses the Circle Frames die set to create a scallop-edged circle as well as a circular card. She adds a couple of paw prints and the sentiment. Her main attraction is the darling kitten from the Smitten Kittens stamp and die set.  Her light coloring of the kitten is spe-cat-ular!  


Time to celebrate by Sue T. features Balloons, Newton's Birthday Balloons, and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #inkypaws, #birthdaycards, #cardmaking
Newton looks darling floating amid all those green and blue balloons! Sue T.'s festive card uses the Balloons stencil with watercolors. She uses the rounded rectangle frame from the Frames & Flags die set. Next she colors Newton from the Newton's Birthday Balloons  stamp set in soft grays. She cuts using the coordinating die set. 


Amy T shares her watercolor master piece that features the newly released Newton peeking from his pink mug!  This sweet image is from the Newton's Mug stamp and cut using the coordinating die. She adds white flowers using a little image from the Happy Little Thoughts stamp set. If that was cute enough, she adds the smiling muffin from the Love Bites stamp and die set.  Using the dies from the Frames Squared die set, she cuts multiple layers.  She uses the Pawprints stencil and water color pens for the mat around her kitty. At last she pulls the banner die from the Frames & Flags die set and stamps the sentiment.  Cute!  



Claire Lamb uses watercolors for her rainy scene!  Her water-laden clouds die cut using the Sky Borders die set are sprinkling on her darling critters from the Newton's Rain Boots stamp and die set.  Those rain boots look darling with their hearts stamped on them and colored in pastels.  And her ducks look like they are having fun playing in her watercolor puddle!  A wonderfully designed spring card!



Love by Debbie features Woodland Spring, Floral Lace, Frames & Flags, Darling Hearts, and Flower Trio by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #watercoloring, #inkypaws
 Debbie Owens uses dies from the Frames & Flags die set to create her layers. Her main layer is a watercolor layer in purples and blues on which she uses the Floral Lace stencil with white paint. She adds a vellum heart die cut using the Heart Frames die set. She adds flowers from the Flower Trio die set before adding the word love die cut from the Darling Hearts die set.  The sweet fawn and friend from the Woodland Spring stamp set tops off her card.  A combination of cuteness with elegance!

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 



Stay-pawsitive by Debbie features Pawprint Shaker and
Not into hearts?  Debbie Owens shows how you can interchange the heart element with a different shape. Her sweet card in pinks and grays showcases the Pawprint Shaker die set.  She pairs it up with the Stay Paw-sitive sentiment from the Cat-itude stamp set.  This sentiment is stamped on a decorative square cut using a die from the Slimline Frames & Windows die set. The big paw print combined with the little paw print paper makes for a darling card!

Diane Morales creates a beautiful tri-fold Valentine's card in a dark purple!  She uses the Heart Frames die set to create her heart element and stamps the large image from the Heartfelt Love stamp set and colors the hearts in browns and reds.  A creative way to showcase these newly released products!

Sue T. shows us another creative way for a card to open.  Instead of the card opening in a traditional manner, she has her heart opening to reveal a bonus sentiment from the Newton's Sweetheart stamp set.  The front of her card showcases the sweet kitty couple and sentiment from the  Newton's Sweetheart stamp set and cut using the coordinating die set. She uses a fun diagonal paper for her stripe and the inside of her heat.  A fun, fabulous way to interpret the challenge sketch!



With love by Amy features Heartfelt Roses, Floral Lace, and Heart Frames by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #floralcards
Amy Tollner brings us a gorgeous card filled with flowers.  This card would work beautifully either as a Valentine's or wedding card!  She uses the Floral Lace stencil with shimmery texture paste for an elegant background adhered to a navy card base.  She continues with a navy blue heart die cut using the largest heart die from the Heart Frames die set.  She then stamps the floral image from the Heartfelt Roses stamp set and die cuts it using the scallop-edged die from the same set.  Her pink roses coordinate with her pink stripe. A bit of navy ribbon and jewels completes the elegance of her card!





Thankful for you by Claire showcases Peony Blooms and Thankful Thoughts by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #inkypaws, #cardmaking, #floralcards,
Clarie Lamb delights us with another gorgeous card using a different floral set.  Claire embosses the flowers from the Peony Blooms stamp in white. Then she colors the peonies in oranges and pinks. {sigh} She cuts them out using the coordinating die set.  She pulls one of the fabulous sentiments from the Thankful Thoughts stamp set and stamps it on her heart element. She finishes off with yellow and white twine.

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge! 

You're so cool by Sue T. features Summer Scoops and Newton's Summer Treats by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
It's all about yummy Popsicle pops in Sue T.'s summery card!  Her pattern paper matches the summery treats from the  Summer Scoops stamp and die set. She selects the Popsicle lovin' Newton from the Newton's Summer Treats stamp and die set for her central attraction.  What a fabulous way to stay cool!




 Becky Noelle makes a water shaker card that is just too amazing!  Beginning with the Slimline Frames & Portholes die set, Becky creates her shaker base. She uses elements from the Purr-maid Newton and Narly Mermaids stamp sets for her watery backdrop. She then adds sand and glitter in water for her "shaker" element.  Her wonderfully colored tabby from the Scuba Newton stamp set can be seen enjoying all those underwater delights!



Free hugs by Crystal features Shark Bites by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Any one need a hug?  Crystal Komara's card has some friends ready to give free hugs!  With rays of sun from the Sunscape stencil shining in the background, she adds some sparkling waves using the Sea Borders dies set before adding her trio of shark friends from the Shark Bites stamp and die set.  The waves in front are filled with small schools of fish darting among the friendly meat eaters!  



It's your birthday by Debbie features Bleat, Oink, Moo, Cluck, Neigh, Banner Trio, Land Borders, Slimline Frames & Windows, and Slimline Frames & Portholes by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
 Debbie Owens mixes and matches stamp and die sets together this farm scene filled with critters!  She begins with the red scallop-edged frame die cut using the Slimline Frames & Portholes die set and adds her trio of square windows using the Slimline Frames & Windows die set.  She uses some fun farm pattern paper to place in her window and the Land Borders die set for a little hill in the center panel. The little brown fence was cut using the Fence die.  All the critters come from the Bleat, Oink, Moo, Cluck, and Neigh stamp sets. At last, she adds her birthday sentiment on a little red banner cut from the Banner Trio die set. 


Rattle Your Bones by Diane features Slimline Frames & Windows, Banner Trio, and Spooky Skeletons by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnookDiane Morales has another Halloween card to share using the challenge sketch!  Using the Slimline Frames & Windows die set, she adds her white frame on a black card base then uses the Floral Lace stencil to create the bright panels on card stock. She adds a variety of scary skeletons from the the Spooky Skeletons stamp and die set.  She uses the Banner Trio die set to add the fun sentiment.  A bright, spooky design!

Rustic meets glam in Crystal Komara's Easter card. She selects a kraft card base and adds a country floral paper in coral colors. On the scallop-edged circle she stamps and lightly shades the flowers from the Easter Lily stamp set.  She combines the rustic element of a jute bow with the glamour of a gold banner.  Beautifully done!

Debbie's card features Newton's Graduation, Newton Dreams of Italy, Newton Dreams of Paris, Newton Dreams of New York, and Framework by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
 Feeling trapped inside?  Debbie Owens' card will have you dreaming of iconic destinations when the travel bans are lifted!  Combining images from the Newton Dreams of ItalyNewton Dreams of Paris, and Newton Dreams of New York stamp sets, she stamps images on postage die cuts using  the Framework die set. For her circular element, she adds Newton exploring the globe from the Newton's Graduation stamp set.  She places her elements atop map pattern paper. See that cute passport?  It's from the Stowaway Newton stamp set. Until you get to travel, stay safe!

Can't visit your loved ones?  Diane Morales' card would definitely makes someone's day! She starts with a royal blue card base and adds a fun zigzag paper. Then using the Land Borders die set, she turns it on it's side and adds a dump truck from the Love Quarry stamp and die set . She stamps her sentiment on kraft paper and adds a couple of hearts!  A darling way to send love!

Sue T. designs a beautiful Easter card. She uses the Petite Flowers stencil and distress inks in pastel colors. She layers with a pink pattern paper. She cuts her banner in a yellow paper using the Frames & Flags die set. Her main attraction is that darling bunny from the Hop into Spring stamp and die set who is hiding in the tulips and grass from the Land Borders die set. She pulls the No Peeking sentiment form the Newton's Curious Christmas stamp set.  A delightful way to celebrate Easter!
