Inky Paws Challenge #248 Week 4

 

We are in the last days of the current challenge. What will you create? 

Use Cinnamon Red, Soft Pink, Lilac, and Buttercream White with at least 1 NND stamp!

Here's some inspiration.  

We are in the final days of the January challenge using these fun colors. This week the IPC team used lots of different layout dies and papers for five very cute, yet different, Valentine's cards!  Yes, the team was definitely in the mood for some "love!"  What are you inspired to create?  We can't wait to see!

Debbie Owens has a delightful Valentine's card that you might really dig!  She uses the A2 Layout 2 die for her layout with petite heart paper from the Lovely Hearts paper pad. She creates her landscape using the Land Borders die set with a trio of heavy equipment from the Love Quarry stamp set. She stamps the punny sentiment on a heart (Heart Frames die set). Super cute!

 Kelly Santi repurposes a puppy from the Christmas Time Dogs stamp and coordinating die set by adding conversation hearts in his paws, which she carefully cut from paper from the Love & Woofs paper pad. She then designs lots of layers using papers from Lovely Hearts and Love & Woofs paper pads and dies from the Essential Tags, A2 Card Layout 2, and Frames & Flags die sets. Such a delightful way to extend one's Christmas stamp sets!

Amy Tollner also repurposes the  Oink stamp and coordinating die set for a Valentine's card. To create her V-Day card, Amy uses the Fractured Card Layout die with heart paper from the Lovely Hearts paper pad. She uses the XOXO die from the Valentine Word Trio die set with pink glitter paper from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment. Love the little piglet!

Claire Lamb uses the Card Layout 4 die to create her coffee-themed card. She uses heart paper from the Love & Meows paper pad. She places her sentiment on a distressed heart using the  Heart Frames die set. At last, she adds those pretty coffee mugs from the Love Cafe stamp and coordinating die set.  Coffee and Valentine's Day are a perfect combination for a card!

Danni Bindel also was inspired by love and coffee!  Yum! For her card, she uses the A2 Card Layout die for her layout with heart paper from the Lovely Hearts paper pad. (Does that paper look familiar?  See Amy's card above!) Danni places her coffee mugs from the Love Cafe stamp set layered circles using the Circle Frames die set. For her sentiment, she creates a banner using the Banner Trio die set. Love all those hearts!

Inky Paws Challenge #246 Week 3

Here's some inspiration.  

This month's sketch is super fun with the tag element!  The IPC team shows how versatile this sketch is for any occassion. Let's check out their creativity!

Kelly Santi uses the poinsettia toner card front from the 'Tis the Season Toner set in a rainbow of colors which makes for a fabulous background as well as an accent on a tag!  She the uses the Essential Tags die set to create her tag. Her cute puppy is from a retired Newton's Nook Designs STAMPtember set, but any NND image would look spectacular on this glimmery card!

Amy Tollner has created a purr-fect birthday card filled with so much cupcake yumminess! She uses the yellow glitter paper from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment with papers from the Birthday Time paper pad. She adds Newton from the Newton's Cupcake stamp and coordinating die set. Boy, doesn't he look happy with all the sugary delights surrounding him! To make her card, Amy uses the Essential Tags die set as well as the Frames & Flags die set. Enjoy!

Claire Lamb is showcasing two of the festive felines from the Christmas Time Cats stamp and coordinating die set, and boy, are they looking ready for Santa!  She uses the bright striped paper from the Christmas Party paper pad as well as the Essential Tags die set. Keep believing little guys!

Danni Bindel creates a bright and cheerful card using the Little Lillies stamp set. The bright teal paper from the Spring Blooms paper pad looks fabulous those pale pink blooms! To create her card, Danni uses the postage-edge die from the Framework die set as well as the Essentials Tags die set for her tag. A beautiful way to beat the gloominess of fall and winter!

Loss of a pet is so difficult, but Debbie Owens has created a sympathy card just right for a grieving pet owner. Her card features papers from the Love & Woofs paper pad which has been die cut using the scallop-edged die from the Frames & Flags die set. She places her sentiment and puppy from the Furr-ever Friends stamp set on a tag cut using the Essentials Tags die set.

Inky Paws Challenge #236 Favorites

Claire loves how Deekshita uses the challenge colors for her ice cream images!  These sweet images are from the Summer Scoop stamp set. The added heart-scallop border adds such a delicate touch. 

Crystal's FAVE

Crystal loves how Jennifer K. used the challenge colors with a coffee theme!  Jennifer used the Coffee Frame die with the Love Cafe stamp set. The added clouds and mini hearts add the perfect Valentine touch!

Danni's FAVE

Danni loves the little pizza slices background that Ellen creates to showcase the pizza-lovin' kitty from the Newton Loves Pizza stamp set. Such a creative way to use the challenge colors!

Debbie's FAVE

Debbie loves Papierelle's total CAS card!  Papierelle captures the challenge colors on this snowy card using the retired Moose Mountain stamp set. The added snowflakes and ridges of snow adds great texture to this fab card!

Amy's FAVE

Amy loves Sapphire's light coloring on the trio of kitties as well as the use of the tags. Those darling cats are from the retired Newton's Kitchen stamp set. Sapphire also uses the Petite Paw Prints stencil on her card base for more kitty fun!

Here's some inspiration.  

There's so many ways to use these colors with your NND paper pads, stamps, and dies.  Are you in the mood to make wedding cards, birthday cards, spring cards?  With these colors, you can't go wrong. Let's see how the colors inspired the IPC team:

Amy Tollner starts us off with this delightful Valentine's card featuring the canine from the Puppy Heart stamp and coordinating die set. Goodness, he is so cute!  She creates her card layout using the Fractured Card Layout die with the puppy pawprint paper from the Love & Meows paper pad. A darling way to send Valentine's love!

Claire Lamb's coffee first card speaks to a lot of our morning hearts!  Her coffee-themed card showcases the horizontal cups from the Coffee Delights stamp and coordinating die set atop a partially distressed background. She adds the die cut sentiment using the Coffee Frames die set. Just love the pops of red on her cups!

Crystal Minkler, too, was inspired to use the canine from the Puppy Heart stamp and coordinating die set. She uses dies from the Basic Frames and the Circle Frames die sets to create her layers using papers from the Love & Woofs paper pad. Just love those little puppies in the background with their little hearts!  

Danni Bindel takes us to the ocean to send some Valentine's love! She uses the Frames & Flags die set to create her zigzag frame and paneled frame. She then places two darling aquatic friends in the panels to send a pinch of love. Those darling critters are from the Tides of Love stamp and coordinating die set. Too cute!

Debbie Owens shares a card that sends sympathy to one who has lost a fur baby. She showcases the sentiment and the pawprint heart from the Furr-ever Friends stamp set with a canine die cut using the Dog Silhouette die set. She places these atop of rectangle panels using papers from the Pastel Basics and the Lovely Hearts paper pads. For her background, she uses the Petite Pawprint stencil. A nice way to support a loved one who is grieving.

Here's some inspiration.  

This color combination would make fun Valentine's, flowery spring, or beautiful birthday cards. There's so many ways to combine them.  Let's see how the IPC team used them:

Danni Bindel creates this darling Valentine's card using the sweet puppy from the Puppy Heart stamp set. She uses papers from the Love & Woofs paper pad to create the panels made using the Frames & Tags die set. She die cuts (Heart Frames die set) a large heart in which she has embossed puppy paws using the Pawprints stencil. The overall effect is puppy cuteness!

Debbie Owens was also inspired to use the Frames & Tags die set to create her card layout. She frames it with the scallop-edge die from the Frames & Flags die set. See those little hearts in the background? Those were made using the Petite Hearts stencil. Deb scatters different images from the Valentine Postage Sampler stamp set. She adds sentiments pulled from the Heartfelt Love stamp set. A wonderfully designed "love" card!

Amy Tollner was also in the Valentine mood. For her sweet card, she uses the heart paper from the Lovely Hearts paper pad. She then uses the recently released Charming Hearts Frame die and adds some white and shimmering red hearts to it. She continues with the XOXO sentiment from the Valentine Words Trio die set. A fabulous combination of products!

Claire Lamb opts for a coffee-themed card. She uses the Coffee Frame die set atop red polka-dotted paper from the Christmas Basics paper pad. She then adds her sentiment with each word in a challenge color. This fabulous sentiment is from the Thanks a Latte die set. A fabulous way to send thanks to a loved one!

Crystal Minkler also goes with a coffee-themed card! She embraces the turquoise and browns of the challenge with a splash of red on her coffee mugs!  Crystal creatively combines papers from the Coffee Shop paper pad. She creates her different layers using dies from the Framework die set. She uses the Coffee Silhouettes die set to create her trio of mugs and follows up with a sentiment from the Newton Loves Coffee stamp set.  A wonderful coffee-themed card!

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Crystal Minkler creates a pair of darling Valentine's cards using papers from the Love & Meows and the Love & Woofs paper pads. She then uses the images from the Newton's Heart stamp and coordinating die set and the Puppy Heart stamp and coordinating die set for the focal point on each card. To create her different scallop-edged layers she uses dies from the Frames & Flags and the Circle Frames die sets.  Don't you just love the paper-pieced heart on each card?  Super cute!



Danni Bindel's spectacularly colored gnome from the Gnome Garden stamp and coordinating die set is looking amazing on his little mushroom!  Danni pulls papers from the Springtime paper pad that make for a spectacular spring backdrop!  She uses the Frames & Flags and the Oval Frames die sets to create some layers.  So cute!


Debbie Owens is showcasing not one, but two, mischievious kitties enjoying themselves with some indoor plants!  These little felines are from the Naughty Newton and the Newton's Hanging Basket stamp sets. She uses the Frames & Flags die set to create her scallop-edging on papers from the Spring Blooms paper pad. How can two bad kitties look so adorable?!



Amy Tollner designs a brilliantly bright birthday card in greens and blues! She pulls the green present paper from the Birthday Party and the pawprint paper from A Cat's Life paper pads. She creates a balloon background on her banner using the Bokeh Balloons stencil set. The fabulous trio of felines are colored amazingly. These little critters are from the Newton's Birthday Trio stamp and coordinating die set. Wow!



Claire Lamb also creates an amazing birthday card featuring a trio of puppies from the Birthday Barks Stamp and coordinating die set. She adds a bright yellow confetti background using paper from the Birthday Party paper pad. The fun polka-dotted red paper is from the Meowy Christmas paper pad. So much canine cuteness on this card!
