Inky Paws Challenge #248 Week 4

 

We are in the last days of the current challenge. What will you create? 

Use Cinnamon Red, Soft Pink, Lilac, and Buttercream White with at least 1 NND stamp!

You have until Friday, January 30, 2026 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project. 

Here's some inspiration.  

We are in the final days of the January challenge using these fun colors. This week the IPC team used lots of different layout dies and papers for five very cute, yet different, Valentine's cards!  Yes, the team was definitely in the mood for some "love!"  What are you inspired to create?  We can't wait to see!

Debbie Owens has a delightful Valentine's card that you might really dig!  She uses the A2 Layout 2 die for her layout with petite heart paper from the Lovely Hearts paper pad. She creates her landscape using the Land Borders die set with a trio of heavy equipment from the Love Quarry stamp set. She stamps the punny sentiment on a heart (Heart Frames die set). Super cute!

 Kelly Santi repurposes a puppy from the Christmas Time Dogs stamp and coordinating die set by adding conversation hearts in his paws, which she carefully cut from paper from the Love & Woofs paper pad. She then designs lots of layers using papers from Lovely Hearts and Love & Woofs paper pads and dies from the Essential Tags, A2 Card Layout 2, and Frames & Flags die sets. Such a delightful way to extend one's Christmas stamp sets!

Amy Tollner also repurposes the  Oink stamp and coordinating die set for a Valentine's card. To create her V-Day card, Amy uses the Fractured Card Layout die with heart paper from the Lovely Hearts paper pad. She uses the XOXO die from the Valentine Word Trio die set with pink glitter paper from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment. Love the little piglet!

Claire Lamb uses the Card Layout 4 die to create her coffee-themed card. She uses heart paper from the Love & Meows paper pad. She places her sentiment on a distressed heart using the  Heart Frames die set. At last, she adds those pretty coffee mugs from the Love Cafe stamp and coordinating die set.  Coffee and Valentine's Day are a perfect combination for a card!

Danni Bindel also was inspired by love and coffee!  Yum! For her card, she uses the A2 Card Layout die for her layout with heart paper from the Lovely Hearts paper pad. (Does that paper look familiar?  See Amy's card above!) Danni places her coffee mugs from the Love Cafe stamp set layered circles using the Circle Frames die set. For her sentiment, she creates a banner using the Banner Trio die set. Love all those hearts!
