Inky Paws Challenge #257 Week 4

 

Final Week to Play with Our Autumn Colors!


We are so excited to play with these rich, vibrant colors!

 Dusty Lavender, Teal, Pumpkin Orange, and Rust!

You have until Friday, October 30, 2026 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop! The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday. Make sure you check the challenge rules page (Newton's Nook Designs products are required.) before you link up your project.

This week the IPC team have created some fun, unique projects for autumn and Halloween. Let's check them out!


Claire's coffee card features Halloween Accessories, Torn Edges, Autumn Leaves, Dog Builder, Fall Friends, Thanks a Latte, and Coffee Silhouettes by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardchallenge, #cardmakingideas, #cardmaking, #nndpaper, #nnddies, #coffeelovers, #coffeecards, #thankyoucards, #dogcards, #autumncards
Claire Lamb has built the cutest puppy using the Dog Builder die set with a latte using the Coffee Silhouettes die set. She adds pumpkins and fall foliage using the Halloween Accessories and the Fall Friends die sets. For her background, she uses the teal leaf paper from the Autumn Leaves paper pack. She adds a vellum panel to break up the background using the Torn Edge Frames die set and uses the Thanks a Latte die set for her sentiment. Such a wonderful combination of products!

Debbie Owens boldly uses the challenge colors for her Halloween card. Using the Card Layout 6 die, she adds spooky panels using paper from the Halloween Woofs paper pad. She adds a spiderweb using the Spiderwebs die set beneath her frame and adds the Trick or Treat sentiment using the Halloween Greetings die set. A fun, unique way to use the colors!

Kathy Schweinfurth uses the Bookmark II die set to create her beautiful bookmark. She pulls images from the Autumn Reads stamp set which is a perfect set to make bookmarks. For added fun, Kathy adds a coordinating bookmark using the Autumn Leaves paper pack and finishes with a colorful tassel!  Lovin' it!

Kelly Santi is showcasing Newton in his vampire costume from the Batty Newton stamp and coordinating die set. She adds a bright background using the plaid paper from the Halloween Meows paper pad. To create her layout, Kelly uses the Oval Frames die set with a sentiment from the Spiderweb Oval stamp set. She also uses the Card Layout 4 die for the background panels. Delightful!

Amy Tollner  uses the colorful leaf paper from the Autumn Leaves paper pack with a group of helpful critters from the Autumn Cats stamp and coordinating die set and the Autumn Dogs stamp and coordinating die set. Her teal frame (A2 Card Layout 2 die) really makes this little scene pop!  Wonderfully done!

Inky Paws Challenge #257 Week 1

Here's some inspiration: Enjoy deep the deep fall colors of orange rust and add in a pop of teal and purple! It's the perfect palette to stretch your fall crafting! Any theme is welcome as long as the colors are used!

Kathy Schweinfurth's autumn card is just too cute with the puppy from the Dog Builder die set hiding among the leaves from the Autumn Leaves die set and the pumpkins from the Halloween Accessories die set. For her background, Kathy uses paper from the Autumn Leaves paper pack which she die cuts using the Frames & Flags die set.

Looks like Amy Tollner is gearing up for some cozy reading time with this lovely card. Her big pile of books is from the Autumn Reads stamp and coordinating die set. She creates her background using the newly released Autumn Leaves paper pack and the Arched Frames die set. For her sentiment, she stamps it on a tag using the Essential Tags die set.  Enjoy all those books!

Claire Lamb has truly embraced the teal in this month's color challenge, and it is spectacular!  Her little quartet of felines comes from the Autumn Cats stamp and coordinating die set. They are set atop the teal leaf paper from the Autumn Leaves paper pack. She uses the Postage Stamp Layout die to showcase the felines and pulls the Happy die from the Happy Birthday die set for part of her sentiment.  Wonderfully done!

Claire Lamb distresses a very bold and spooky backdrop complete with webs and spiders! She uses the Spooky Stories and the Spiderweb Oval to create those spooky elements and the sentiment. She then adds some books which are full of witch recipes  and spooky spells using the Bookmark II die set. A fabulous card for someone who loves reading spooky tales!

Danni Bindel creates the cutest Halloween card with a coffee theme!  She uses lots of spooky coffee images from the Spooky Coffees and coordinating die set with the argyle paper from the Halloween Time paper pad.  She uses dies from the Circle Frames for the sentiment and the Frames & Tags die set for the window frame. A spooky card to send to a coffee lover!

She then uses the Coffee  Frame die with the hounds tooth paper from the Autumn paper pad.  She uses the Thanks a Latte die for her sentiment and adds a latte from the Autumn Coffees stamp set. To create her center panel she uses one of the dies from the Basic Frames set. A great combination of products to celebrate the pumpkin-spice season!

Inky Paws Challenge #244 Week 1

 

The September Challenge

This month we are getting ready for
 fall or Halloween.
You have four weeks to get creative with your NND products using either the theme fall or Halloween!

You have from Monday, September 1, 2025 to Friday, September 26, 2025 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project.

She finishes up with her sentiment stamped on a stitched circle using the Circle Frames die set.  Nothing fowl about this card!
