for our current challenge!

Sketch Challenge

Create a project using the sketch.

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge:

Debbie's card features Gingham, Newton's Curious Christmas, Frames Squared, Frames & Flags, and Framework by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
The black and white gingham background created with the Gingham stencil provides a fun background to Debbie Owens' winter-themed card.  Using a combination of dies from the Framework die set, the Frames & Flags die set, and the Frames Squared die set, Debbie adds layers in garnet and olive green for the sketch elements. She then selects the kitten peeking around the snowman image from the Newton's Curious Christmas stamp set and colors it in grays, greens and reds. A fun winter-themed card!

Deck the halls by Diane features Ornament Shaker, Ornamental Wishes and Autumn Leaves by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Diane Morales creates this fabulous tag that could also be used as a tree ornament!   She selects a fun striped pattern paper for her background before adding the banner and green foliage die cut using the Autumn Leaves die set. Her focal point is the the red ornament with the bold sentiment using the Ornament Shaker die set and the Ornament Wishes stamp set.

Sue's card features Pumpkin Patch, Harvest Tails, Fall Fringe, Frames Squared by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Sue T. captures the spirit of Thanksgiving in this fall-themed card.  Her pumpkin-filled background was created using distress inks with the Pumpkin Patch stencil. Sue then uses the Frames Squared die set to create the card base and golden-yellow layer. She then stamps and colors the image from Fall Fringe stamp set and adheres over her green banner. The raccoon in the vegetable crate from the Harvest Tails stamp set takes center stage!  A wonderful way to celebrate bounty of fall.

Merry Christmas by Becky features Petite Snow, Frames Squared, The Nutcracker Squeak, and Newton's Christmas Kittens by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsdesigns
Becky Noelle's sweet nutcracker card will have you squeaking with delight with her spinner card!  She begins with a pale textured background using the Petite Snow stencil. She creates her "stage" by using a die from the Frames Squared die set and adds dark red curtains to the sides. Using the ballerina mouse from the The Nutcracker Squeak stamp set, she creates the twirling ballerina as her spinner element. She adds two more mouse images to the side of her stage. To tie it all together, she embosses the sentiment from the Newton's Christmas Kittens stamp set in white on a black banner that she places above her stage.  {Sigh!}

Season's Greetings by Bobbi features Pines & Holly and Ornamental Wishes by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook

Bobbi Lemanski creates a pretty, traditional  holiday card by creating a wreath in light and dark green pine branches using the Pines and Holly die set. Inside her wreath she adds the Season's Greetings sentiment from the Ornamental Wishes stamp set.  She elegantly displays her wreath on a layer of golden-shimmer card stock and a dark green base. The banner of ribbon and holly berries are beautiful touches to this gorgeous card.

You can never have to much happy by Bobbi features Walking Woofs by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Every dog lover will fall in love with Bobbi Lemanski's card!  Bobbi stamps the image from the Walking Woofs stamp set and shades each puppy uniquely. Happy Howl-oween by Debbie features Bubbly, Frames & Flags, and Spooky Skeletons by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Here's a not-so-spooky Halloween card by Debbie Owens. She begins by using the  Bubbly stencil set to create a playful background in lime green. She then creates her center panel using the stitched frame from the Frames & Flags die set.  She adds a lime green strip and black polka dotted washi tape before stamping a subtle crescent moon and Halloween sentiment using the Spooky Skeletons stamp set. the Thankful Thoughts stamp set. To pull everything together, she adds the fox holding the pumpkin from the Harvest Tails stamp and die set.

Surround yourself by Becky features Flamingo Flock, Tropical Leaves, and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Becky Noelle's creation could be called pretty in pink because it is!  She begins by distressing the background in shades of pink using the Tropical Leaves stencil. She adds her second layer by fussy cutting out all those flamingos from the Flamingo Flock stamp set so the leaves can be seen. She adds a dark pink sentiment banner using the Frames & Flags die set on which she white embosses the sentiment.  All that fussy cutting paid off...this is an amazing card!
