Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Claire Lamb uses a horizontal interpretation of the sketch, and it's spectacular.  The ink-blended circles look amazing with the flowers from the  Floral Delights stamp and coordinating die set. For her circles, she made masks/stencil using the Frames Squared die set.  Creative and beautiful!

Crystal Minkler's birthday card is perfect for anyone who loves coffee. Her coffee-stained panel was die cut using the Framework die set. She then uses the Heartfelt Coffee stamp image which she die cuts using a heart die from the Heart Frames die set, and a circle die from the Circle Frames die set. All that coffee goodness makes for a "brew-tiful" card!

Danni Bindel also creates a birthday card using the sketch. Her bright and festive card features the darling llama from the Loveable Llamas stamp and coordinating die set. She pairs him with tons of different birthday papers from the Birthday Party paper pad. Her many layers were cut using dies from the Circle Frames and the Framework die sets.  Let the party begin!

Debbie Owens card features the margarita loving feline from the Newton Loves Taco stamp set. To create a bright and festive mood, she uses the Petite Paw Prints stencil for her background which was die cut using the Frames & Tags die set. She adds striped paper from the Birthday Meows paper pad. She pulls a sentiment from the Cat-itude stamp set and uses the Circle Frames die set to create her circular elements.  The overall effect is total cuteness!  Check out her blog for several variations of this card. 😊

Amy Tollner's card is filled with feline fun!  She uses the Pawprints stencil to create a subtle background panel die cut using the scallop-edged die from the A7 Frames & Banners die set. She wonderfullyy colors all those felines from the  Company of Cats stamp set and cuts using a die from the  Circle Frames die set. The fish skeleton paper A Cat's Life 6x6 Paper Pad is a fabulous touch!

Inky Paws Challenge #96 Winners

Inky Paws Challenge #96  Winner!

We've chosen one RANDOM winner using random.org to receive a $20 Store Credit to Newton's Nook Designs!

Irene created this card that will be sure to win over any Trekkie's heart!  Using the cat image from the Sending Hugs stamp set,  Irene stamps the cat a second time and creates the Star Trek Uniform.  She then creates the Star Trek emblem!  Such a clever and creative way to stretch one's stamps!

Inky Paws Challenge #96 Favorites

Our Inky Paws Challenge Inspiration team has chosen a few of their favorite challenge entries from this challenge! If you see your card below, contact us if you'd like to get a "favorite" badge for your blog!

Debbie's FAVE

The feathers Kimmie adds to her card easily brings a smile to one's face!  She stamps the naughty kitty from the Newton's Birthday Flutter stamp set and colors all those feathers blue.  She then pulls her card together with the fun sentiment and sends proof of the deed with the actual feathers!  LOL

Diane's FAVE

Cat Craig creates this fabulous CAS card by coloring the little mouse and his mushroom from the Garden Mice stamp set on Kraft card stock. To "ground" her mouse, she adds a shadow.  Just adorable!

Sue's FAVE

Kay Demonbren creates this bright, festive birthday card by white embossing the kitty and his cake from the Newton Loves Cake stamp set on Kraft card stock which almost gives it a no-line look.  By lightly coloring around the image in white, Kay creates a glow emanating from the candles!

Becky's FAVE

Mary Reiner put her colored pencils to good use by coloring the clowder of cats from 
the Company of Cats stamp set in all different patterns and colors. She adds one more cat for good measure fussing cutting a kitty from the Newton's Book Club stamp set and adheres with foam tape.  All of this she adds atop a background of white and black diagonal stripes that really pulls her card together!

Bobbi's FAVE

Ildi goes the extra mile with this card that is completely colored with colored pencils. Using bright bold colors, Ildi creates her background scene by using the trees from the Winter Memories stamp set. She creates her clouds using the Cloudy Sky stencil. Shen then adds an array of forest critters using the ducks from the Winston's Lake House stamp set and Sweetheart Tails (retired) stamp set.

Andrea Shell's use of the ice cream cone paper works wonderfully with Winston holding the ice cream cone from Sending Hugs stamp and die sets. She then pulls this fun sentiment from Company of Cats stamp set. Just love how these sets work together! Yummy!

Debbie Owens sets up a fun dining scene using Newton Dreams of Italy stamp set. The red gingham works fabulously as a table cloth and the embossing adds a fun bit of texture. For the banners, Deb uses the Frames & Flags die set.

Diane Morales creatively combines two stamp sets to create this bright, cheerful card. She uses Newton Dreams of London and Uplifting Wishes stamp set. The cloudy background and little puffy clouds are fabulous accents. The colorful banners were made using the Frames & Flags die set.

Emily Lauritzen creates this beautiful card using Little Lilies stamp set. The combination of papers looks wonderfully with the black accents.

 Using Cloudy Sky stencil to create this fabulous background, Zsofia Molnar brings us this delightful card featuring Newton's Birthday Balloons stamp and die sets. Just love the colors she uses as well as the glossy accented balloons and sprinkling of sequins. She uses the Frames & Flags die set for her sentiment.

Here'a a refresher.  It's a COLOR Challenge:

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge! 

Emily Lauritzen creates this stunning card using Beautiful Wings stamp set. Using the challenge colors inside the heart die cut, provides a wonderful backdrop to the embossed butterfly. The quilted backdrop provides a nice textural element for this fabulous card!

Zsofia Molnar creates this pretty patterned paper using Fanciful Florals (retiring and now on sale) stamp set. By covering the whole panel with vellum, the colors are muted the card giving the card a delicate look. She then stamps the sentiment from Birthday Essentials stamp set directly on the vellum overlay. Just gorgeous!

Andrea Shell features a single lily from  newly released Little Lilies stamp set framed in a scalloped circle. The combination of distressed blue background and soft lavender colors pulls everything together for this elegant card.

Debbie Owens creates a festive background by using the Waves stencil. By moving it slightly each time she changed colors, she gets this fabulous backdrop for Newton from Newton Loves Cake stamp set. To complete her card, she uses the celebrate sentiment from Birthday Essentials stamp set and Frames & Flags die set.

Diane Morales uses Company of Cats stamp set to create this darling card. Her kitties with their soft gray bellies look wonderful in their soft pastel apparel!

Zsofia Molnar's card brings us a rainbow of cheerfulness!  Just love the rainbow background and balloon!  Then there are all those hearts from her use of the Tumbling Hearts Stencil. That darling kitty is from Newton's Birthday Bash stamp set. The final touch are the banners from the Frames & Flags die set.

Andrea Shell features the newly released Company of Cats stamp set, and wow! I love how she has only colored one kitten and used the sketch design to spotlight him!  In addition to this fabulous stamp set, Andrea used Frames & Flags die set to get that beautifully scalloped edge!

Debbie Owens plays with different patterned papers to create this fun backdrop for Newton from Cosmic Newton stamp set as he blasts off to new adventures.  She, too, uses the very versatile and stylish Frames & Flags die set to get the scalloped edges and banners.

Diane Morales brings us a taste of spring with this bright, cherrful, and totally adorable card. Her sweet bunny is from the Hello Spring stamp set. She used the newly relased Cloudy Sky stencil and finishes up by using the Land Borders die set to create her waves.  How fun!

Emily Lauritzen also uses the newly released Cloudy Sky stencil to create this fabulous background. For her colorful tag, Emily uses Deer Friend stamp set and Land Borders die set. Just love the pastel colors!
