Amy Mattingly also designs a coffee-themed card. Deb really like how Amy uses put her sentiment in the circle element of the sketch and the little stack of books and coffee in the corner. Those books are from the  Autumn Reads stamp & coordinating die set paired with papers from the retired Sips & Stories stamp set. Any suggestions for a good read?

What better way to enjoy a snowy day?  Amy Tollner creates a cozy scene for her little lady and her felines. She combines 
A Cozy Day In stamp set and the Cozy Home Stamp and die set on her 5x7 card base. She creates her layers using the A7 Frames and Banners die set. The snowy background is paper from the Christmas Time paper pad. The Frames & Flags die set was used for sentiment banner. Anyone else want to curl up and enjoy a good book?



Piles of warm winter wishes by Claire features Penguil Pile and Snow Angel Newton by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #penguincards, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #wintercards
Claire Lamb's trio of penguins are staying warm in their scarves and hats while playing on a snowy, winter day. These sweet critters are from the 
Penguin Pile stamp and coordinating Dies. She adds some falling snowflakes on her distressed background using the Snow Angel Newton stamp set. 
So cute!

Crystal Minkler creates a fabulous living room scene!  She combines the Sips & Stories stamp set with the Fireside Friends stamp set. She frames her sentiment and hangs it on the pawprint wall (A Cat's Life paper pad). The scallop-edged panel was created using the the Frames & Flags die set. Love this cozy scene!


I love you more than naps by Danni features Newton's Naptime, A Cat's Life, and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #catcards, #cardchallenge, #cardmaking
Danni Bindel uses the napping feline from the Newton's Naptime stamp set and coordinating die set. This furry friend has the right idea all curled up on a pile of blankets.  To complete her card, Dannie pulls coordinating paper from the A Cat's Life paper pad. The Frames & Flags die set was used to make the scallop-edging on the main panel.  Sweet dreams!


Cover yourself in happiness by Debbie features A7 Frames & Banners and Never Enough Cats by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #catcards, #cardchallenge, #cardmaking
Debbie Owens' pile of cats is a purr-fect way to stay warm and cozy. These sweet furballs are from the Never Enough Cats stamp set. She uses the scallop-edged frame die from the A7 Frames and Banners Die Set to create her center panel. Such a fun way to spend a snowy day!

A. Rose creates a unique design by using a third of her vertical space.  She watercolors a soft background for her playful kitty and chicks from the Newton's Peeps stamp set. The CAS style allows all the attention to focus on her furry and feathery critters.  Nicely done!

Thank you by Ildi features Peony Blooms by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #inkypaws, #cardmaking, #flowercards, #watercolor, #springcards
Ildi uses a no-line technique and watercolors to create this gorgeous card.  Using the Peony Blooms stamp set, she colors the peonies in shades of purples and leaves in green.  She adds some paint speckles for added interest.  Amazingly done!

 Fun paper, fun colors, and fun image makes Christine Miller's card a top pick!  She uses the Spring Pile Up stamp set and coordinating die set to create the main attraction. Her soft water coloring of each image is superb as is her overall design!  A darling way to send Easter greetings!

Jennifer Becker greats a simple watercolor background that is striking with the penguins from the Penguin Pile and die set. She coordinates the colors of the watercolor stripes with each penguin's winter gear. Such a fun, playful card!

Joyce M. used watercolor pencils for her clean and simple card. She uses the Newton's Rain Boots stamp set and colors the image in soft colors. Just love the simplicity of the design that keeps the focus solely on this adorable image! Delightful!

Inky Paws Challenge #112

We will also highlight our favorites from each challenge the following Monday so all entries have a chance to be featured on this blog! 

You have TWO WEEKS to play along - Deadline to enter is Friday, December 13,  at Midnight CST. The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.

Diane Morales creates a wintry haven for this trio of penguins! Using the Petite Snow stencil, Diane creates a snowy background. She then adds those big fir trees using the Evergreens stencil. Diane uses a third stencil, Mountains, to create a snowy landscape on which her softly colored penguins from the Penguin Pile stamp set can stand on. She embosses the sentiment from the Thankful Thoughts stamp set.


Snow-one else like you features Frozen Friends, Petite Snow, and Sea Borders by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Have you ever seen a hand standing snowman?  Well,  Sue T. captures the inner child with her playful card that features just such a snowman!  Using the snowman from Frozen Friends stamp set, she places him upside down in a pile of snow created using the Sea Borders die set. The snowy sky was created using the Petite Snow stencil!  Such a wonderful card!


Holiday Wishes to Deer Friends by Becky features Festive Fawns and Snowfall by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
The big, wintry snowflakes make for a perfect background for Becky Noelle's festive card. Becky uses the Snowfall stencil with opal foil for her background. She adds the snowman with his forest friends from the Festive Fawns stamp set. She adds red, scalloped edging on the bottom of her panel that ties the red scarf together wonderfully!



You're snow much fun by Bobbi features Petite Snow, Frozen Fellowship, Speech Bubbles, and Moose Mountain by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Bobbi Lemanski  creates a 5" x 7" card that is packed with snowmen delight!  Using the Petite Snow stencil with embossing paste, she creates a wintry night sky. She then stamps the Frozen Fellowship stamp set twice to create an extra large gathering of snowy people! She colors their accessories in shades of red and green for a Christmas feel. She adds a speech bubble using the Speech Bubbles die set and adds a sentiment from the Moose Mountain stamp set for the sentiment.


Happy Holidays by Debbie featuring Newton's Curious Christmas, Petite Snow, Forest Scene Builder, Stylish Stockings, Snow Globe Scenes, Land Borders, and Holiday Greetings by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Looks like this feline from Newton's Curious Christmas stamp set is helping his friend hang up his holiday stocking!  Debbie Owens creates this whimsical card by using the Petite Snow stencil for her background. She adds some birch trees using the Forest Scene Builder die set and hangs a stocking between them. The stocking was cut from the Stylish Stockings die set on which the wee little snowman from the Snow Globe Scenes stamp set was stamped. She creates some hills using the Land Borders die set and adds lots of glitter. She also adds glitter to the sentiment using the Holiday Greetings die set.
