Priscilla Joseph celebrates Father's Day with this summery scene!. She uses the Gingham stencil to create a tile background. She adds a pool, floaty, and palm tree to her backyard and finishes with Winston from the Newton's BBQ stamp set (Retired) flipping some burgers! A delightful scene!

Crystal's FAVE

Claire's tag featuring the Newton's Book Club stamp set could easily double as a book mark! Doesn't Newton look fabulous napping on top of those good books?  A purr-fect way to hold one's place!

Debbie's FAVE

A. Rose designs a fabulous card for any outdoor lover!  On yellow and orange layers, she creates a wonderful wilderness background combining the Evergreens and Waves stencils. She adds orange canoes from the Lake Advice stamp set and places them in the waves. Her focal point is the poem from the  Lake Advice stamp set.  

Diane's FAVE

Kay Demonbren draws a fabulous laundry room scene and places Newton from the Newton Cleans Up stamp set in a big yellow laundry basket!  The wash, dry, fold, nap sentiment in the wooden frame is a purr-fect touch!

Sue's FAVE

Kimberly C. turns the Waves & Splashes stencil on its side to create a bold, vibrant background featuring the challenge colors. A top two layers of vellum, she adds Newton from the Newton's Melon stamp set enjoying a slice of yellow melon. She adds some sequins for some sparkle!

Becky's FAVE

Pixiedonna creates a bright garden scene with Newton from the Newton' Birdbath stamp set playing in the water. Her bright blue sky with the fluffy white clouds from Cloudy Sky stencil looks wonderful against the green grass. The little bit of white splattering on the grass and the fluttering butterflies make the scene complete!

Inky Paws Challenge #77 Reminder

Have you had a chance to make a card for our latest Inky Paws Challenge? 

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Here'a a refresher.
Create a project using the below sketch. 

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge! 

Debbie Owens uses a combination of picnic themed papers to create this fun card. She paper pieces Winston from the Winston's BBQ stamp set and adds a hot dog button. She stamps the sentiment and BBQ on the tag and adds twine as a finishing touch! She uses the Framework  and Frames & Flags die sets to create the layers.

Diane Morales creates a soft pink background using the Tumbling Hearts stencil. She then colors the sundae Summer Scoops stamp set and die cuts using the coordinating Summer Scoops die set. She layers her delicious-looking sundae on a bright pink background with her sentiment banner. What a bright, fun summery card!

Emily Lauritzen creates her background by using the Bubbly stencil and cutting it with the Frames & Flags die. She then beautifully colors the flowers from the Peony Blooms stamp set. She creates a vellum frame using and Framework dies. She then embosses the sentiment in silver using a sentiment from the Cocktail Mixer stamp set. To finish her elegant card, Emily uses three pastel colors of ribbon. Such a lovely card!

For this fun, whimsical card, Sue T uses cloud paper for her hot-balloon traveling feline. She colors her kitty from the Newton Dreams of Paris stamp set as a calico, which is just too cute!  She stamps the sentiment from the Uplifting Wishes stamp set, which works perfectly!  To tie it all together, she adds red washi tape with white hearts!

Becky Noelle creates her subtle background using Floral Lace stencil. She then using distress inks to create the blue sky for her beautifully colored butterflies from the  the Beautiful Wings stamp set. She then uses the Land Borders die set to create grass. She finishes her design by adding twine. Such a colorful way to let someone know you are thinking of her.

Happy Friday and the the first day of #10 Inky Paws Challenge!  

This month's challenge is a Texture Challenge!

For this challenge you can choose to add Wood, Cork or Metal to your card - or go nuts and do all three!  The choice is yours! We thought this would be fun as you're probably preparing Father's Day cards right now too!

Here's some inspiration!

Several of our Design Team Members and Guests decided to play along - Read the description below each card to see who made it!

Tricia Traxler (May Guesst Designers) used two textures on this cute card - a stamped wood frame plus Metal staples and brads! She used the lightbulb stamp from Around the House set - so much fun! 

Samantha used wood as a background on her card! She featured the lamp from the Around the House and added some fun yellow vellum to look like the light shining out! Love This! 

Christine used the cute bear from our Winston's BBQ set. She added him onto this card with a fun wood frame and wood stars!  So perfect for Father's Day!

Danielle used a wood frame on her card from our Around the House set. Inside the frame is some fun canvas, made to look as if it's stamped by Newton from Newton's Antics! Isn't that fun? He literally has Inky Paws!!!

Tessa used a wood embossing folder to create her card base and a wood thought bubble too! She used that cute little bandit from the Sweetheart Tails stamp set! This card is so simple and sweet!  

Larissa used a fun piece of wood and paper pierced the fun tape dispenser from the  Around the House set. She also added some metal tape and metal toned sequins! Love that bit of Metallic!!

And one by Me -  I managed to get in all 3 textures. I used used a big circle of Cork and stamped beer bottles on it with White ink. Then I added metal brads and a wood heart too! as a background on her card! The bear is from our new Winston's BBQ set! I love how fun this set is for Father's Day!
