Thanks so much to everyone who entered our last Inky Paws Challenge at here at the Newton's Nook Designs blog! This months Challenge was to create a project with a USE WATERCOLOR! 

This was a tough one, for sure, but we were AMAZED by all the creative things everyone did with just one layer! The challenge entries were so awesome this month! THANK YOU to everyone who entered!  It's always hard to choose a winner!

Our first winner is this gorgeous trio of Tags by Tatiana! We love how she tried watercoloring them in different ways - they all turned out so beautiful!! She used the Basket of Wishes and Bunny Hop Stamp sets. 

Our second winner is this awesome card by Dawn from the little mennonite. We really love the intense colorful background she created with watercolors! It's so bright and fun! She use our Newton's Summer Vacation stamp set.

Inky Paws #19 Favorites

Since there were so many beautiful heart cards, we chose THREE more as our favorite picks! If you see your card below, contact us if you'd like to get a "favorite" badge for your blog!

This adorable card by Melissa made us smile - we love how the pig is flipping across that fun watercolor background! So Adorable! The stamps she used are from the Farmyard Friends stamp set. 

We love the "spotlight" technique that Anja did on her card - using grays for most of the card and then spotlighting with bright colors inside the heart! What a fun idea!! She used the Just say Cheese and Newton's Antics stamp sets to create this card. 

This card by Vicki is also has some really fun watercoloring going on - we loved that background with the layers and splotches of watercolor! She used our cute little birdie stamp set - Tweet Talk.

Inky Paws #06 Challenge - WINNERS! 

We had so much fun checking out all the entries for our sixth Inky Paws Challenge at here at the Newton's Nook Designs blog! This time we switched things up and did a COLOR challenge - and all our participants really did a great job with it! As always- it's hard to pick a winner! Thanks to everyone who played along! It's always so much fun to see what everyone does with our stamps! We love seeing all the projects.

This card by Christiana is our first winner this month! Christiana made this adorable card using our Just Say Cheese set and even hand-drew a sombrero for the mouse! ADORABLE! If you head over to her blog, Christy Gets Crafty, you can watch a video showing how she created her project too. 

Our second winner is Jess with this fun card featuring the bear from our Campfire Tails set!  We loved the bright colored sky and scene that she created! So pretty!  Jess actually made another card with a night scene too- We thought this card fit the color challenge better but loved both. This card by Tanja is so cute! Love the coloring on the kitty and the dot pattern. Plus, the woodgrain frame is so fun! Tanja used our  our Newton's Antics set!

We loved the fun layout on this card with the folded paper corner by Barbara! What a great idea for double-sided papers! Barbara used our Love à la Carte Set. 

This bright and colorful, Warhol inspired card by Jen also caught our eye! I love the simple, bright composition!  Jen used the cheese grater from our Just Say Cheese set.

Inky Paws Challenge Winners!

All I can say is ....WOW. 

We are so excited that so many of you entered our very first Inky Paws Challenge at here at the Newton's Nook Designs blog. It was so much fun to check out all your blogs and see what everyone is creating with our new stamp designs! I really enjoyed each and every project that was posted and it was very hard to pick the winners (because we had more than 15 participants we are picking TWO). But we had to choose and here are our two top picks!

Top pick  - Danielle 

I really loved that Danielle made her card interactive. If you go to her blog (girlracerscrap), she even posted a video -- the whole kitty wobbles back and forth - super fun!
