   Welcome to a new Inky Paws Challenge!

This challenge is a

Color Challenge.

Use the colors--Teal, Kraft, Silver, and White.

Are you ready to get your paws inky with us and play along to win a prize? We will chose a RANDOM entry to win a $20 store credit to our Newton's Nook Design online shop! We will also highlight our favorites from each challenge the following Monday so all entries have a chance to be featured on this blog! 

You have TWO WEEKS to play along - Deadline to enter is Friday, December 16, 2022 at Midnight CST. The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.

Amy Tollner uses the challenge colors for this gorgeous snowy masterpiece!  She uses the  Frames and Flags die set for her white scalloped frame.  She also uses this die set to create the masking frame for her distressed teal backdrop. The shimmering, silver snowflakes come from the  Beautiful Blizzard stamp set.  Just love the delicateness of these snowflakes!

Claire Lamb showcases the blue jay from the Winter Birds stamp and die set.  Doesn't he look amazing against the beautiful distressed sky (Circle Frames die set)? On the branch, she has added amazing texture by combining the Flower Trio and the Pines & Holly die sets. Lovely!

Debbie Owens uses the Oval Frames die set to create this darling oval-shaped card.  Her teal snowflakes from the Snowflake Oval stamp set look wonderful with the shimmery silver behind them.  Enjoying the snowy scene is the sweet puppy from the Holiday Heights stamp set. A darling way to send magical wishes to a loved one!

Diane Morales' card showcases our very own Newton from the Santa Paws Newton stamp and die set sporting a handsome teal Santa suit!  She places him and his mice helpers on a square card base using the Frames Squared die set.  She pulls the teal paw print paper from the A Cat's Life paper pad which works purr-fectly with the challenge colors! She uses the Snow Globe Shaker die set for the added snowflakes and to stamp the sentiment on.  So cute!

Create a project using the colors:   mint, plum, green, and lilac.

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Amy Tollner uses the challenge colors to create a bright, bold shaker card!  She uses the Frames Squared die set to create her card base and scallop-edged shaker frame showcasing the Floral Fringe stamp set. Don't you love her beautiful coloring of the flowers in the challenge colors!  Brilliantly done!

Claire Lamb die cuts multiple speech bubbles using the Speech Bubble die set to create textured background. She then uses the challenge colors to distress a rainbow backdrop die cut using the stitched die from the Frames Squared die set. She spot lights the trio of kittens from the Newton's Birthday Trio stamp and cut using the coordinating die set. The glossy accents on the small speech bubbles adds a nice finishing touch!  SpeCATular!

 Debbie Owens takes us under the sea using the challenge colors. Using the square scallop-edged die from the Frames Squared die set, she die cuts a lavender pattern paper layer.  She adds a circular scallop-edged using a die from the Circle Frames die set. On this circle she has added some subtle waves using texture paste and the Waves stencil. In those waves, she adds Newton from the Scuba Newton stamp set.  She adds sea critters, coral, and seaweed using elements from both the Tides of Love stamp set and the Scuba Newton stamp set. Her last touch is the speech bubble die cut using the Speech Bubbles die set. Delightful!

Diane Morales cuts strips of paper in the challenge colors for her background on which she stamps and embosses the lily image from the Easter Lily stamp set repeatedly. She then a white frame popped with dimension tape using the Snow Globe Shaker set die.  She then stamps and colors the lovely birds from the Toucan Party stamp and cut using the coordinating die set.  A colorful way to celebrate an anniversary of a marriage! 

Sue T.'s  uses the challenge colors to create a pretty garden complete with a hummingbird!  A top an embossed card base, Sue adds a stitched circle layer die cut using the Circle Frames die set. On this circle she has stamped and shaded the flowers from the Hummingbird stamp in lavender and mint.  She then stamps and colors the hummingbird from the aforementioned set in plum and green. She uses the coordinating die set to cut out the bird and then affixing with dimension tape.  She stamps the sentiment on a speech bubble die cut from the Speech Bubbles die set. Beautiful!

Becky Noelle creates this red and white striped background using the snowflake die from the Snow Globe Shaker die set. She then creates a fun background using the Fancy Edges Tag die to create the fun edge. She then stamps and colors this sweet llama from the Llama Delivery stamp set. She adds the sentiment and some snowflakes for her finishing touches!

Debbie Owens brings on the glitter by creating her striped background in red glitter paper. She then adds a shimmery green card stock before adding the black sentiment from the Holiday Greetings die set. She adds the kitten from the Newton's Holiday Mischief stamp set.  She then adds holly from the Pines & Holly die set and peppermint candy from the Newton's Candy Cane stamp set.

Diane Morales presents a very elegant and beautiful card. She uses gray pattern paper for the background stripes. Then she uses the Evergreens stencil to create a romantic scene for her red stamped skating couple from the Winter Memories stamp and die set.

Emily Lauritzen creates this playful shaker card with a light blue background. She then embosses a sentiment from the Ornamental Wishes stamp set on vellum. She frames her vellum background with a white frame die cut using the Framework die set. The snowy hills were made using the Land Borders die set.  The frozen feline snowmen are from a stamp (Flaky Family) set that has sadly been retired and sold out, but the Frozen Friends stamp set would look lovely too!

Sue T. gives us this darling card which features Winston flying through a cloudy sky!  She begins by die cutting her base using the Framework die set. She then layers clouds by using the Sky Borders die. She adds the sentiment and that daring Winston from the Winston Takes Flight stamp set for a delightful, fun card!
