This is a sketch challenge.

Are you ready to get your paws inky with us and play along to win a prize? We will chose a RANDOM entry to win a $20 store credit to our Newton's Nook Design online shop! We will also highlight our favorites from each challenge the following Monday so all entries have a chance to be featured on this blog! 

You have TWO WEEKS to play along - Deadline to enter is Friday, August 2, 2024 at Midnight CST. The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.

Debbie Owens designs a uses papers from the Farmyard paper pad to create this farm-filled card. Enjoying the scenery is our beloved Newton from the Farmer Newton stamp set with a trio of chickens from the Cluck stamp set.  She adds the sentiment to a banner created using the Banner Trio die set.  So fun!

Amy Tollner designs a wonderful get-well card featuring two felines from the Newton's Sick Day stamp and coordinating die set. She adds a trio of mini-heart papers from the Pastel Basics paper pad and completes the card with a sentiment on a tag using the Frames & Tags die set. Loving that blue bandage!

Claire Lamb adds a bit of Zen to her card featuring the furry friend from the Newton's Reading List stamp and coordinating die set. She opts for papers from the Coffee House Stories paper pad that coordinate with the feline's pile of books.  She used the stitched die from the Basic Frames die set. Too cute!

Crystal Minkler is getting ready for the holidays which are quickly sneaking up on us! For her card, she pulls papers from the Christmas Time apaper pad and pairs them with the clowder of felines from the Cat Christmas Tree stamp and coordinating die set. Crystal substitues an oval the center element using the Oval Frames die set.  Just love all those strands of lights!

Danni Bindel also was feeling the farming vibe and uses the Farmer Newton stamp and coordinating die set. She pulls a fabulous assortment of papers from the Farmyard paper pad that coordinate wonderfully. To create some layers, she uses dies from the Basic Frames and the Framework die set. Don't you love how Newton's bib-overalls match the tractor? 😸

Arlene R. creates a fabulous background by combining the Mugs stencil with the Bokeh stencil set. The black banner with the Heartfelt Coffee stamp set makes for a bold accent.  Such a creative way to use the NND products with the challenge colors!

Crystal's FAVE

Mindy Go's watercolor background is so fun and colorful for the little puppy from the Puppy's Bubble Tea stamp and coordinating die set.  Mindy also does a wonderful job coloring the puppy and his bubble tea!  

Danni's FAVE

Becca creates a super fun birthday card using the Birthday Roundabout stamp set. All those birthday goodies look so cute in the challenge colors!  A great way to celebrate!

Debbie's FAVE

Amy Isley colors her zoo critters from the retired Zoo Party stamp set so playfully in the challenge colors.  That pink elephant is just so cute!  To complete her sweet card, Amy uses the Frames Squared die set, and the purple dotted papers from the Bright Basics paper pad. So fun!

Cat C. creates such a refreshing watery setting for the little critter from the Purr-Maid Newton stamp set. Anyone else just want to jump into her card for a cool, refreshing break from the heat?

Have you had a chance to make a card for our latest Inky Paws Challenge? 

Here's a refresher.

Use the colors Amethyst Purple, Fuchsia Pink, Sky Blue, and Sand Brown.

The IPC team had lots of ideas using these fun colors, so sit back and enjoy!

Danni Bindel showcases the challenge colors by using a combination of papers from the Pastel Basics paper pad. She uses several dies to create all those lovely layers: Framework and Basic Frames die sets. She adds a sprig of daisies from the Floral Delights stamp and coordinating die set and an inspiring sentiment to finish her lovely card.

Debbie Owens is ready to head to the beach in flip-flops. Deb uses the Flip-Flop Life stamp set to create her background. She then paints the center panel and uses the octagonal die from the Basic Frames die set. A fun summery card!

Amy Tollner was inspired to create a darling birthday card using the IPC colors. She pulls polka dotted paper from the Brights Basic paper pad. She die cuts it using the scallop-edged frame from the Frames & Flags die set. She then adds an oval scalloped layer using the Oval Frames die set. Amy wonderfully features the Birthday Oval stamp set with the little mouse from the Birthday Mice stamp and coordinatingdie set flying above. Such cute birthday wishes!

Claire Lamb goes with a coffee-themed card brimming with caffeinated goodness. She creates a zig-zab panel using the Frames & Tags die set and places a Kraft stitched panel (Basic Frames die set) stamped with lots of coffee mugs using the Heartfelt Coffee stamp set. She cuts a heart shape out of the panel using the Heart Frames die set, and then a white heart behind with all those colored coffee mugs that aligned perfectly with the top panel. She adds a thin banner (A7 Frames & Banners die set for the banner) with the sentiment! A perk-fully brewed card!

Crystal Minkler creates this tranquil scene featuring the vintage truck from the Spring Haul stamp and coordinating die set. She uses the scallop-edged die to create her panel (Frames & Flags die set), and the Hills & Grass stencil to create her hill landscape. She finds a wonderful sentiment from the Dainty Daisies stamp set for sentiment. Such a beautiful way to send a special message!

Danni Bindel uses papers to depict the colors in the challenge. Those celebratory papers are from the Birthday Meows paper pad arranged on a blue card base.  She is featuring some playful kitties from the Newton Loves Boxes stamp and coordinating die set. She places them atop a scalloped heart Heart Frames die set to compliment the scallop-edging on her main panel (Frames & Flags die set). A super fun way to send birthday wishes!

Debbie Owens creates a card filled with yummy chocolate treats. She uses the Frames & Tags Die Set to create her overall design and adds sweet papers from the Love & Chocolate Paper Pad. She adds a teal serving tray to display those delectable treats from the Love & Chocolate stamp set. Scrumptious!

Amy Tollner is also featuring a scrumptious treat--a 6-tier cake from the Newton's Birthday Delights stamp and coordinating die set!  She adds to the festivities by using the Confetti Stencil to distress some confetti in the background.  She uses the scallop-edged frame die from the Frames & Flags die set for added fun! Those sweet kitties are just too cute!

Claire Lamb takes us to a beautiful beach scene!  She creates her spectacular setting using distress inks with the Sea Borders and the Land Borders die sets.  She adds two of the lovely ladies from the Summer Moments stamp and cordinating die set who look like they are enjoying themselves.  The bold challenge colors look amazing!

Newton looks like he is having a fabulous time in Crystal Minkler's birthday card!  Newton from the Newton's Birthday Balloons stamp and coordinating die set is enjoying himself amidst the bubbly backdrop. Those beautiful bubbles were created using the Bokeh Stencil set. A fun, festive way to send birthday wishes!

Kathy K. creates a CAS card filled with brightly colored seashells. These beautiful shells are from the Seashell Roundabout stamp set as is the sentiment. All those pretty shells may have you booking a retreat at a beach!

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Crystal Minkler is beach bound in her red VW Bug! She showcases this cute card from the Beach Bound stamp and coordinating die set and creates a tropical scene with fun papers from the Summertime paper pad. She uses the A2 Card Layout Die Set to create the frame. So much summer cuteness!

Danni Bindel showcases a very lazy Newton from the Newton's Summer Vacation stamp and coordinating die set who is languorously enjoying a summer day on his floatie! Danni uses papers from the Summertime paper pad with dies from the Sea Borders and the Sky Scene Builder die sets to create the sky and layers of waves. She adds postage-edging from the Framework die set. Anyone else want to join Newton on his lazy river adventure?

Debbie Owens showcases the tiny crab from the Tides of Love stamp set who is enjoying a day of collecting seashells. Deb uses the Frames & Tags Die Set to create her layout, and she uses the Seashells Stencil to create those pretty seashells. She pulls a sentiment from the Summer Moments stamp set. Such a fun way to showcase this little guy!

Amy Tollner showcases a trio of beach-bound vehicles from the Beach Bound stamp and coordinating die set. She showcases them on palm tree paper from the Summertime paper pad. She uses dies from the Frames & Tags Die Set to create her layout. Which vehicle would you choose to go to the beach?

Claire Lamb showcases Newton's pretty hanging basket filled with summer leaves. Her beautiful distressing compliments Newton and his basket from the Newton's Hanging Basket stamp and coordinating die set. She uses the Basic Frames die set to create the stitching on her panel. Hope your hanging baskets looks as good as Claire's!
