Hugs & Chocolate by Debbie features Heartfelt, Heart Frames, Frames & Flags, and Love & Chocolate by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #inkypaws, #valentinescard, #cardmaking
 Debbie Owens' card looks like a box full of chocolates!  Her glittery coppery background die cut using the Frames & Flags die set showcases the newly released Heartfelt Love stamp set die cut using the scallop-edged die from the Heart Frames die set. She shades the little hearts in shades of browns and caramels.  She adds a bit of Glossy Accents to add some shine to the chocolates. She adds a light tan crimped strip with a brown ribbon and bow. For her little sash across the heart, she combines sentiments from the Heartfelt Love and the Love & Chocolate stamp sets.  Delicious!


You octopi my heart by Diane showcases Tides of Love and Bubbly by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #inkypaws, #cardmaking, #valentinescard
Diane Morales designs a fun Valentine's card showcasing the octopus from the Tides of Love stamp and coordinating die set. She creates a watery backdrop using the Bubbly stencil. She die cuts this in a heart shape.  She adds the sentiment embossed in white on a black card stock strip and a trio of pink hearts.  All of this sits atop a fun white paper with vertical black stripes  Punny and playful!




Snow-one else like you by Sue T. features Frozen Friends by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #inkypaws, #cardmaking
Sue T.'s sweet card combines love with some wintry fun!  She places a white heart-shaped doily atop a kraft card stock and adds a snowflake paper for her strip.  She adds the cute snow couple from the Frozen Friends stamp set. She colors the scarves in pretty red and adds red & white twine for her final touch. A lovely way to tell someone you love them!

Amy T. shows us the power of caffeine and cats with her cute, colorful card!  She stamps and colors all the kittens and cup from the Caffeinated Cats stamp set and die cuts it all using the Framework die set. She adds a light tan stripe with the sentiment from the Newton Loves Coffee stamp set.  Her red, glittery heart is die cut using the Darling Hearts die set. A jute bow is a wonderful finishing touch!

Claire Lamb opts for puppies for her card.  She uses two of the puppies from the Delightful Doxies stamp and coordinating die set and places them on a background with puffy pink clouds created using the Clouds stencil. She creates layers of hearts include a large clear one that allows a glimpse of the inside of the card.  A marvelous way to utilize dies and add a creative feature!  Wonderfully done Ms. Claire!

Hello by Claire features Porch Swing Friends and Frames Squared by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #inkypaws
Claire Lamb uses the Frames Squared die set to created a square card filled with cuteness. From the red and white polka dotted paper to her sweetly colored critters from the Porch Swing Friends stamp set, her card is a fabulous way to send a hello greeting to a friend or family member!




It's your day by Debbie features Shrimp Cocktail, Banner Trio, Waves, Darling Hearts, Happy Little Thoughts, Birthday Essentials, Frames & Windows by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #inkypaws
 Debbie Owens combines several die sets to for her card. She starts with the Frames & Windows die set for her teal background, adds several hearts using the Darling Hearts die set. Little banners using the Banners Trio die set are used to stamp sentiments from the Birthday Essentials stamp set.  She uses the Waves stencil for teal waves in which her lovely shrimp from the Shrimp Cocktails stamp set are enjoying a nice cherry martini!  She adds a little heart image from the Happy Little Thoughts stamp set. Cheers!

Diane Morales stripes in the challenge colors look amazing especially with the hearts from the Tumbling Hearts stencil and die cut using the scallop-edged die from the Frames & Flags die set.  She adds the rose image from the Roses stamp and die set.  She leaves the roses white, which contrasts wonderfully against the backdrop!  The sentiment was stamped a banner die cut using the banner from the Banner Trio die set.  Spectacularly done!





Love you so much by Sue T. features Floral Roundabout, Floral Fringe, Darling Hearts, Frames Squared by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #inkypaws, #valentinescards
Sue T. colors the flowers in the Floral Roundabout stamp set in the challenge colors, and they look amazing!  She then uses the Darling Hearts die set to cut out the center. She die cuts the word love from the Darling Hearts die set and creatively stamps words from the Floral Fringe stamp set to customize her sentiment. She uses the Frames Squared die set to create the square frame and scalloped layer.  A beautiful way to show a loved one you care!



Will you be my meow-entine? by Tumbling Hearts, Framework, Frames & Flags, Newton's Valentine by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #inkypaws, #valentinescards, #cardmaking
Amy Tollner uses the Tumbling Hearts stencil in teal and die cuts using the postage-edged die from the Framework die set. She adds a vellum layer to soften the background. She adds banners using the Frames & Flags die set. Don't you just love the glittery red?  The sweet white kitty from the Newton's Valentine stamp and die set steals the show playing with the pastel pink heart.  The red birdie is a perfect added pop of color!  Who wouldn't want to be this kitty's Valentine?

Debbie Owens's card showcases the newly released Bokeh Hearts stencil set and the Newton's Crafty Cardio stamp set. Using the Frames & Flags die set, she makes a red frame and adds a second layer with teal colored hearts made from the Bokeh Hearts stencil set. Adding a red heart from the Darling Hearts die set, she then layers the kitty from the Newton's Crafty Cardio stamp set. She draws in a red heart on the kitty's paper to pull in the Valentine theme!  What a wonderful new stamp set that is sure to become a favorite!

Diane Morales  uses one of the stencils from the Plaid stencil set to create the green, red, and blue pattern for her background. She uses the Framework die set to give it the postage-stamp edge. From the same die set, she cuts a white frame and places her flowers from the Dainty Daisies stamp and die set.  Such a bright, fresh way to use the challenge colors!


Cheers, it's your birthday by Sue features Cup of Cocoa and Cocktail Mixer by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Sue T. mixes mugs from the Cup of Cocoa stamp and die set with bold black sentiments form the Cocktail Mixer stamp set. She adds fun papers in the challenge colors to get a perfect concoction of birthday cheer!  

You're moo-velous! by Becky features Moo, Land Borders, Frames & Flags, and Cloudy Sky by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
 Becky Noelle creates a sweet, serene setting for her black and white cow from the Moo stamp and die set. On a scallop-edged base using the Frames & Flags die set, Becky adds green grass and rolling hills using the Land Borders die set. She adds puffy white clouds using the Cloudy Sky stencil on top of her clear, blue sky. The pop of red on the barn (Moo stamp and die set) provides the perfect final touch!  Moo-velous, indeed!

Feeling a little under the weather?  Then Crystal Komera's card is just what the doctor ordered!  On the light blue background die cut with the scallop-edged frame from Frames & Flags die set, she adds a green and blue plaid background. She adheres two shelves on the wall to hold medicine and a tissue box from the Newton's Sick Day stamp and die set. She also adds a darling feline nurse and patient from the same set. Don't you love the pop of red elements throughout the card?

Inky Paws Challenge #115 Reminder

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration 
for our current challenge!

Create a project using hearts. 

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge:

Adora-bull by Crystal features Fabulous Frenchies by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Love puppies?  Then Crystal Komera's ador-bull card is going to thrill you!  With a black and white checkered paper on a dark red card base, she adds four red hearts stamped with paw prints. Using all the puppies from the Fabulous Frenchies stamp and die set, Crystal colors the accessories in reds, whites, and blacks. She adds a pink heart on one balloon as well as makes a bouquet of balloons. She stamps the sentiment on a little banner.  So, so sweet!



Love by Debbie features Newton's Sweetheart, Darling Heart, and Fancy Edges Tag by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Debbie Owens creates a Valentine's tag in white, black and pink.  Using the Fancy Edges Tag die set, she cuts a pink tag and a black tag with a scallop edge.  She adds a heart cut using the Darling Hearts die set on which she adds the love sentiment and a couple of tiny hearts. She colors the pair of kitties in grays from the Newton's Sweetheart stamp and fussy cuts.  She adds silver twine behind them before adhering with dimensional tape.  Sweetness!

You're out of this world by Diane features Cosmic Newton, Sky Borders, and Darling Hearts by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
3...2...1...Blast off into a heart-filled outer space!  Diane Morales creatively stretches the Cosmic Newton stamp and die set by having her feline astronaut traveling through some fluffy clouds using the Sky Borders die set into the final frontier filled with hearts using the Darling Hearts die set!  A fun masculine Valentine's card!



Pretty in pink is Sue T.'s card that is purr-fect for Valentine's Day. She creates her pink ombre' hearts using the Tumbling Hearts stencil and creates the postage-edged base with the Framework die set. The cute, cuddly cats from the Newton's Sweetheart stamp and die set, are positioned through a die cut circle with a dark pink in the background. Look closely at those heart tags on their collars! {sigh}


Be mine by Becky features Tumbling Hearts and Candy Heart by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
 If you enjoy lots of masking and inking, then Becky Noelle's card will win your heart! Using the Tumbling Hearts stencil, she painstakingly masked & inked each heart on a pale gray background. She then adds a heart from the Candy Heart stamp set and adds the sentiment in red. She stitches the gray panel onto a white card base. Don't you love how this looks like a box of conversation hearts?

Thank you by Crystal features Peony Blooms and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook

Need a  a lovely way to send a heart-filled thank you card? Then Crystal Komera's beautifully designed card is for you!  Beginning with pattern paper with tiny little red hearts, she adds a red, scallop-edged frame using the Frames & Flags die set. Notice those subtle hearts on the red. {swoon} Adding a large white heart, Crystal stamps little red hearts and the sentiment from the Peony Blooms stamp. For her finale, she adds her beautifully colored flowers from the Peony Blooms stamp and die set.  

Love by Debbie features Newton's Christmas Cuddles and Darling Hearts by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Super CAS and super cute is the direction Debbie Owens interprets this challenge. Using a silver foil striped paper, Debbie cuts the heart shape using the Darling Hearts die set. She then cuts several sentiments and layers them to add dimension. She then stamps the furry feline from the Purr-fect Present stamp set and colors her like a Siamese.  For the gift box, she colors in silver and pinks.  She adds a few sequins to add some pink accents. Darling!

Mine by Diane features Sunscape, It's a Plan, Gull Friends, Sea Borders, Essential Alphabet, and Frames Squared by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Diane Morales uses hearts in a very creative way!  Using the Sunscape stencil, Diane uses yellow inks to create the sun rays. She then goes back and stamps little hearts from the It's a Plan stamp set in the rays!  I know, so fun!  She adds some light blue water using the Sea Borders die set. She adds the seagulls on the pier posts from the Gull Friends stamp and die set. For her two-colored sentiment, she uses letters from the Essential Alphabet die set.  To make this into a square card, Diane uses the Frames Squared die set. So cute!


Love is in the air by Sue features Winston Takes Flight, Uplifting Wishes, Tumbling Hearts, and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Take off for a little bit of love!  Sue T. creates this darling card featuring this adorable pilot from the Winston Takes Flight stamp set. Her pink and red plane with the added polka-dotted heart is just too cute.  Then there's the exhaust---pink hearts--made by a bit of masking and the Tumbling Hearts stencil.  She adds the perfect sentiment from the Uplifting Wishes stamp set. She frames all of this on a dark pink scallop-edged frame using the Frames & Flags die set. Seriously cute!


You're just my type by Becky features My Type and Happy Little Thoughts by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
 Looks like Becky Noelle has been practicing her typing skills!  Look at her very long page of
 Xs & Os!  That sweet, vintage, pink typewriter is from  the My Type stamp set
 and all those rows of hearts are from the Happy Little Thoughts stamp set. Becky places her typewriter on a little doily and stamps the sentiment on it.  If you look closely, her background has lots of typewritten words!
