Welcome to Inky Paws

For June, we have a fun "sunny days" theme!
You have four weeks to create using sunny days!
You have from Monday, June 2, 2025 to Friday, June 27, 2025 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop! The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday. Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project.
Here's some inspiration.
Summer is finally here with days filled with sunshine! Where will your imagination take you? Beaches? Camping? Ice cream? Playing in the water? There are so many possibilities! Let's see what the IPC gals created:
Crystal Minkler's card is a lovely beach card featuring one of the ladies from the Summer Moments stamp and coordinating die set. To create her fabulous beach scene, Crystal uses the Hills & Grass stencil and Sky Scene Builder die set. She uses the Frames & Flags die set to create her scallop edging. Such a relaxing summer card!
Danni Bindel's card also features a beach. This time it's Newton from the Aloha Newton stamp and coordinating die set enjoying a nap in a hammock. Danni features paper form the Summertime paper pad and uses the Frames & Flags and the Circle Frames die sets to create her layers. A darling way to spend a summer day!
Debbie Owens summer card features Newton from the Newton's Birdbath stamp set. Is he just getting a sip of water or stalking the little birdie? Deb uses a sentiment from the Seashell Roundabout stamp set as well as the Sunscape stencil for her sunshine. Be wary of that kitty little birdie!
Amy Tollner's card showcases beautiful summer flowers from the Floral Delights stamp and coordinating die set. Amy sets her flowers upon a lattice (Lattice die) with a partly cloudy sky (Springtime paper pad) peeking through the openings. She uses the ticket die from the Framework die set for her sentiment. Doesn't this card capture the beauty of summer?
Looks like Claire Lamb is off to do some surfing! She creates her setting using the Postage Stamp Layout die with some fabulous distressing. She then adds a couple of beach-faring vehicles using stamps from the Beach Bound stamps and coordinating die set. She uses the little banner die from the A7 Frames & Banners to stamp her sentiments. Anyone else want to jump in those vehicles and head for the beach?
Don't forget you now have until June 27, 2025 to get
creative with this theme!
