Inky Paws Challenge #108

We will also highlight our favorites from each challenge the following Monday so all entries have a chance to be featured on this blog! 

You have TWO WEEKS to play along - Deadline to enter is Friday, October 18, 2019 at Midnight CST. The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.

Happy howl-oween by Sue features Happy Howl-oween, Framework, and Fancy Edges Tag by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Sue T. creates this fun Halloween card!  She begins with a black card base. She then uses the Framework die set to die cut her black and white polka dotted layer in which she pops up using dimensional tape. She adds a black stripe and a banner using Halloween pattern paper. For her tag, she  uses the Fancy Edges Tag die set and pattern paper. For her focal point she colors this duo of puppies from the Happy Howl-oween stamp and die set. She stamps the sentiment and die cuts using the Speech Bubbles die set.  A wonderful way to celebrate Halloween!



Every year I fall for autumn leaves by Becky features Pumpkin Patch, Fall-ing for You, and Fancy Edges Tag by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Becky Noelle designs this incredible green background by using the Pumpkin Patch stencil. Her pumpkins are beautiful! She splatters some white accents to add more interest. She adds more texture to her card by adding two different twine and ribbon. She uses the Fancy Edges Tag die set to create her tag. She stamps the sentiment from the Fall-ing for You stamp set on the tag and adds a twine bow for her final touch. Wow!



Big Wishes by Bobbi features Holding Happiness by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Bobbi Lemanski brings us this fantastic feminine birthday card in pretty shades of pink. She creates her background by splattering watercolor in pinks, yellows, and grays. She adds layers of scalloped-edge stripes in coordinating colors. She creates a light gray tag and adds the sentiment and flowers using the Holding Happiness stamp and die set. For main attraction, she stamps and colors the girl with her overly big present from the Holding Happiness stamp and die set. A bit of ribbon and a few sequins completes this festive card.

Trick of Treat by Debbie features Flamingo Flock, Spooky Skeletons, Fancy Edges Tag, and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Debbie Owens combines orange and black with a flock of flamingos for a fun, festive Halloween card. She begins by adding an orange scalloped-edged layer from the Frames & Flags die set and places it atop a black card base. She then white embosses the flamingos from the Flamingo Flock stamp set on black. She fussy cuts them and adheres to the orange layer. She adds an orange stripe and black banner using the Frames & Flags die set. She then die cuts the tag using the Fancy Edges Tag die set. She adds the flamingo from the Spooky Skeletons stamp set and a scattering of sequins.






Happy meow-oween by Diane features Argyle, Newton's Perfect Pumpkin, and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Diane Morales creates a stunning purple background using the Argyle Stencil Set with the glittery stitches. She adds a black strip with a lime green banner using the Frame & Flags die set. For her tag she stamps little spider webs in two corners. She adds her little sweet kitten with her witch's hat from the Newton's Perfect Pumpkin stamp set. She finishes by stamping the sentiment and popping it up with foam tape.
