Have you had a chance to make a card for our latest Inky Paws Challenge? 

Here'a a refresher.

Create a project using the colors--teal, yellow, green, and white.

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Claire Lamb features a trio of kittens playing in the rain!  Claire uses the Newton's Rainy Day Trio stamp and coordinating die set to create this rainy delight!  The mirror image of the boots and paws in the water puddle is a genius idea!  Anyone else feeling like singing with these sweeties?  :)

Sweet and cuddly is the koala bear in  Debbie Owens' card!  She uses the Tropical Leaves and the Pineapple stencil sets to create layers of tropical goodness for the koala from the Pina Koala stamp set. She uses dies from the Frames Squared and the Frames & Flags die sets for her various fun layers.  Twine and sequins are added for extra fun! Sweet!

Diane Morales provides a delightful card to celebrate a birthday!  Beginning with a scallop-edged card base cut using dies from the  Frames & Flags die set, she adds lots of confetti by using the Confetti stencil. She tops her card off with Newton enjoying some frosting. This darling feline is from the 

Newton's Cupcake stamp and cut using the coordinating die set. Time to celebrate!

Sue T. also brings us a birthday-inspired card! She, too, features the frosting-lovin' kitten from the Newton's Cupcake stamp and coordinating die set. Her wavy cupcake wrapper is super fun!  More cupcakes are added using the Cupcake stencil set and cut out with the large die from the Speech Bubbles die set.  Scrumptious!

Want to visit the tropics?  Amy Tollner's card brings the beauty of the tropics without leaving home! She uses the challenge colors with the Tropical Fringe main image for a slice of paradise!  She opts for a square base by using dies from the Frames Squared  die set. A splattering of sequins adds a sparkly touch to this tropical card!

We will also highlight our favorites from each challenge the following Monday so all entries have a chance to be featured on this blog! 

You have TWO WEEKS to play along - Deadline to enter is Friday, August 27, 2021 at Midnight CST. The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.

Claire Lamb shows us how what happens when life gives you lemons...a fabulous card!  With a partially distressed teal background, she adds a trio of lemons using the Lemon Twist stamp and coordinating die set.  She adds a sprinkling of yellow sequins for added zest!  A very refreshing card!

 Debbie Owens creates a fun background using the Hills & Grass stencil. She distresses some wavy stripes in the challenge colors and then cuts them into 1/2 inch stripes to create a fun design. She then adds clouds using the dies from the Sky Scene Builder die set. She adds the playful kitten from the Captivated Kittens stamp set.  Such a fun, colorful card!

Diane Morales applies the challenge colors on her leafy backdrop created using the Tropical Leaves stencil. Don't they look fabulous?  The little kitten sports a pink bikini with her tropical surfboard. This feline is from the Newton's Perfect Wave stamp and coordinating die set. She stamps the sentiment on a circular panel die cut using the Circle Frames die set.  So, so cute!

Sue T. gives us some natural beauty with her hummingbird and flowers!  She uses the Basketweave stencil to create a nice subtle backdrop. The beautiful hummingbird colored in the challenge colors is from the Hummingbird stamp and coordinating die set and is enjoying a bit of nectar from the yellow flowers.  The bold sentiment from the Birthday Essentials stamp set is a fabulous way to wish someone a happy birthday!  Wonderful CAS card, Sue!

Amy Tollner also inspires with her use of the Tropical Leaves stencil. Her leaves make a perfect background for her white kitten from the Aloha Newton stamp and coordinating die set. These colors work wonderfully for all those tropical flowers and leaves!  Amy also uses the Frames & Flags die set for her banner and the Circle Frames die set on which she adds her kitten. A piece of tropical paradise!

Vanessa creates another darling puppy card. This one won our hearts with the bright colors and uniquely designed paper using the smaller elements from the Puppy Playtime stamp set.  She again adds two playful pups from the same set with fun stripes behind them.  And those cute bones!  Nicely done, Vanessa!

Claire's FAVE

Priscilla awed us with how she combined the Tropical Fish (retiring) stencil set with a stripe stencil that makes it look like sunlight is filtering through the water!  Wow!  She then leaves her mermaid from the Mermaid Crossing (Retired) stamp and die set outlined in blue.  Very stunning, Priscilla!

Sandi brings us a bold, graphic shark card featuring a scarily cute shark from the Shark Bites stamp and coordinating die set. We liked her use of blue stripes in the backdrop as well as those little sharks circling around.  Fabulously done, Sandi!

Diane's FAVE

Karen also uses a scarily cute shark from the Shark Bites stamp and coordinating die set.  We love her creative use of the Serene Stripes stencil for her ocean and her bold yellow and blue colors!  Very eye-catching, Karen!

A. Rose's sweet card to thank our healthcare professionals caught our eyes with its CAS style.  The wavy red and white striped circle behind the feline nurse is a creative way to add stripes, and Newton is looking stunning in his professional healthcare attire.  This fun image is from the Newton's Sick Day stamp set.  Great work, A. Rose!

Create a project using Stripes on your NND project!

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Amy Tollner brings us a colorful ice cream card. She combines the Slimline Frames & Portholes and the  Slimline Frames & Windows  die sets to create the layers. She incorporates her stripes with her choice of the colorful plaid paper.  In two of the porthole windows, she adds bowls of vanilla ice cream with sprinkles. These scrumptious treats come from the Summer Scoops stamp and coordinating die set. So fun!

Claire Lamb uses a teal striped background to showcase her cupcake lovin' kitten!  She continues by die cutting her center piece using the rounded square die from the Frames & Flags die set. On this she uses the Confetti stencil over a partially water colored layer.  Alas, she adds her black kitten from the Newton's Cupcake stamp and coordinating die set. Don't you love how Claire adds the lines in her cupcake line?  Just darling!

 Debbie Owens brings us a touch of school!  She uses primary writing pattern paper for her stripes which she die cuts using the Slimline Frames & Windows  die set.  She adds them atop a black scalloped rectangle die cut using Slimline Frames & Portholes die set. She pulls two of the studious kittens from the Newton's Book Club stamp set.  Don't you love the pops of red against the black and white?  So cute!

Diane Morales takes us under the sea with her fun wavy stripes!  She uses the Hills & Grass stencil to create her distressed waves. She adds the adventurous Newton in his scuba gear from the Scuba Newton stamp and coordinating die set. A fabulous way to add stripes!  

Sue T. makes monochromatic stripes and adds them to her rounded corner rectangle which was cut using a die from the Frames & Flags die set.  She adds a pair of playful puppies from the Beach Barks stamp and coordinating die set. Her stamps her sentiment on a speech bubble cut using the Speech Bubbles die set. Don't these puppies look adorable in their sea foam green and teal  beachwear?  So, so cute!

Need to get inspired? See what our Inspiration Team created with this challenge! 

Amy Tollner showcases one of the puppies from the Fabulous Frenchies stamp and coordinating die set, and boy is he cute in his peach and pink striped sweater!  She places this sweet pup on a distressed tag die cut using the Fancy Edges Tag die set.  For more stripe fun, she uses the Serene Stripes stencil in hues of yellow, peach, and pink for her background which has been die cut using the postage-edged die from the Framework die set. Oh la la!  

Claire Lamb brings us this amazing pop card featuring the Newton Dreams of Paris stamp and coordinating die set on both the outside and inside of her card!  She has little hot air balloons flying past the Eiffel tower on her diagonally embossed front. Then open up the card, and a large hot air balloon pops up piloted by the ever cute black kitty!  For added fun, she has used the Sky Borders die set for her puffy clouds at the top. Below she uses the Land Borders die set to create her ground on which the love-struck kitten awaits the landing of the balloon!  A fabulous way to use the retiring  Newton Dreams of Paris stamp set!

 Debbie Owens uses some masking to create her striped rainbow-colored background on which she stamps the silhouette of the palm trees and birds from the Paradise Palms stamp set. For added contrast, she adds a black scallop-edged frame die cut using the Frames Squared die set. A simple design packed with lots of colors and fun!  

Diane Morales is back with a circular card!  Uses dies from the Circle Frames die set to create her base and layers.  Love those lavender stripes?  Diane uses one of the Retro Sun & Palms stencils to create them. She then adds the ever cute kitten on his beach chair. This cutie is from the Kitten Beach stamp and coordinating die set.  She adds a couple starfish and striped shells to complete this darling card!

Sue T. brings us this beautiful card showcasing the Dainty Daisies stamp and coordinating die set in lovely shades of pink.  For dramatic effect, she, like Diane, uses one of the stencils from the Retro Sun and Palms stencil set to create her black stripes.  She then die cuts this using one of the dies from the Circle Frames die set.  All of this is placed on a white scallop-edged frame die cut using the Frames & Flags die set. She also uses the banner die from this set to stamp her sentiment.  A beautiful combination of NND products!

Cari S. shows us how to conserve water! She finds pattern papers that perfectly complement the images from the  Wine A Little stamp and coordinating die set. The sentiment from this stamp set provides a bit of humor!

Joyce's darling card is packed full of puppy cuteness. All the puppies look like they are in a basket with the distressed background made using the Basketweave stencil.  She fills her card with puppies using the Woof Pack stamp set.  Don't you love how she fussy cuts two puppies to place outside her window?  Wonderfully done!

Claire's FAVE

Karen Guettler Carlson creates a window with the deer from the \Woodland Spring stamp and coordinating die set peeking through.  The striped background adds a dramatic touch. The added floral sprig pulls everything together wonderfully!

What do you get when you combine pineapples and a koala?   Kristi's card answers the riddle~piña koala!

Isn't her pineapple lovin' koala from the Pina Koala stamp set darling against the background of pineapples created using the Pineapple stencil.  The bright, crispness of her card is eye-catching!  So cute!

Diane's FAVE

Karen Guettler Carlson's CAS card is stunning with the striped banner behind the deer from the Woodland Spring stamp and coordinating die set. Leaving the image without color is a brilliant, bold move!
