Snappy birthday by Sue features Shark Bites, Shark Frenzy Framework, and Fancy Edges Tag by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #sharkcards
Sue T. showcases sharks in her "frightful" card!  She creates her postage-edged background using the Framework die set. For her black banner, she notches the bottom using a die from the Fancy Edges Tag die set. In the circular panel, Sue has stamped the Shark Frenzy stamp set.  Don't you love how she has used another shark from the Shark Bites stamp and die set? It looks like he is jumping out to say "Snappy Birthday!"  Such fun!

The sea is calling by Amy features Circle Frames, Frames Squared, Frames & Flags, Newton's Seashell, Seashell Roundabout, and Seashells by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #catcards, #summercards, #cardmaking
Amy Tollner showcases Newton from the Newton's Seashell stamp and coordinating die set amid piles of beautiful seashells!  One layer of seashells uses the Seashells stencil in hues of pinks, purples, and teals.  She continues with another layer of shells using the Seashell Roundabout stamp set embossed in white on a distressed background in the same hues.  She die cuts this using the scallop-edged die from the Circle Frames die set.  To finish her card, she die cuts a white layer using the smaller square die from the Frames Squared die set. She uses the larger banner die from the Frames & Flags die set to cut her purple banner on which she white heat embosses the sentiment.  A fabulous way to capture the feel of the ocean!

Saddle up and celebrate by Claire features Frames Squared die set Newton Rides West stamp and die set Land Borders die set by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #catcards, #cardmaking, #westerncards
Claire Lamb takes us to the West with her wonderfully designed card!  She creates a unique background using the smaller elements from the Newton Rides West stamp set.  She adds her lime green banner on which is her fun sentiment.  For her square element, she elects to use the "fancy" square die from the Frames Squared die set. She distresses a beautiful sky then adds her sandy ground with the help of the Land Borders die set. Her star attraction is Cowboy Newton in his brown Stetson hat and coral bandana from the Newton Rides West and coordinating die set.  (This set is retiring so be sure to get yours before they are gone!)  Don't you just love how small images can make such amazing backgrounds?  Nice job, Claire!

Debbie Owens uses several die sets with different pattern papers for this bright summery card. Using the postage-edged die from the Framework die set, she die cuts her base layer with a plaid-like design. Her yellow banner uses the large banner die from the Frames & Flags die set.  She follows up with a grassy paper perfect for a picnic which is die cut using the rounded-square die from the Frames Squared die set.  Using the BBQ Roundabout stamp set, she creates her own pattern paper and colors the images in colors matching her base layer. This is die cut using the scallop-edged die from the Circle Frames die set.  Her watermelon lovin' bear comes from the Woodland Picnic stamp set. This sketch lends itself so well with NND dies, and is great way to use up some papers from your stash!

The sea is calling by Diane features Frames & Flags, Newton's Seashell, and Seashells by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #catcards, #cardmaking, #summercards
Like Amy, Diane Morales takes us to the beach with this amazing card!  She uses the Seashells stencil and creates her background in pastel hues. She die cuts using the scallop-edged die from the Frames & Flags die set. She adds her pink banner again using the banner die from same die set. For star attraction, she adds Newton Newton's Seashell stamp and coordinating die set. The overall effect is a wonderfully designed card!
