Welcome to Inky Paws
July Challenge!
We have the colors Cotton Candy Pink, Orange Sherbet, Turquoise and Royal Blue to challenge you this month!
You until Friday, August 1, 2025 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop! The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday. Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project.
Here's some inspiration.
With Newton's Nook Designs celebrating their 12 years anniversary, several DT members created some darling birthday cards, but these colors aren't limited to birthdays. Check out Amy's coffee/reading card or Claire's Christmas card. These colors can be used for any occasion. What will you create?
Danni Bindel is celebrating in style using the newly released birthday products! She showcases the new Card Layout 4 die with papers from the Birthday Time paper pad. She then stamps one of the cute kitten images from the Cat Birthday Party stamp set on a scallop-edged circle (Circle Frames die set). Aren't you just lovin' this new birthday release?!
What could be nicer than reading a good book with a nice cup of coffee? Well, Amy Tollner captures the magic of a book and coffee! When uses the A7 Frames &Banners die set for her design. Look closely and you'll see subtle mugs of coffee created using the Mugs stencil. She uses images from the Never Enough Books stamp and coordinating die set and places them on the different shelves. Let us know what good book you're reading!
Claire Lamb is showing her ongoing creativity. This week, she uses the challenge colors for a Christmas card. Yep, a Christmas card! She creates a beautiful one layer card showcasing the Bells & Holly stamp set. Don't you just love it! Why not pull out your holiday NND products and have a go using these colors!
Crystal Minkler is showcasing the new birthday release! She uses the Card Layout 3 die set with a trio of papers from the Birthday Time paper pad. She then adds one of the festive felines from the Cat Birthday Party stamp and coordinating die set. Her final touch is the big, bold birthday sentiment using the Happy Birthday die. A wonderful way to celebrate a birthday!
Don't forget you now have until August 1, 2025 to get
creative with these colors!
