Inky Paws Challenge #247--Final Week of 2025

We are counting down the final days of the 2025 IPC Challenge!

You have until December 19 to get creative adding sparkle & shine to your holiday projects!

You have until Friday, December 19, 2025 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop! The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday. Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project.

It's hard to believe that we are in our final days of the 2025 Inky Paws Challenge year! It's been so fun providing inspiration each month showcasing ways to use your Newton's Nook Designs projects. Kelly Santi snowy card is so cute with the spinner element. She showcases two snowy papers from the Snow Flurries paper pad and uses the Basic Frames die set to create her stitched layers. She then uses the darling kitty from the Snow Angel Newton stamp and coordinating die set and adds a spinner to make the kitty look like he's making snow angels! Such a fun idea!

Amy Tollner is using a holiday classic stamp set, Santa Paws Newton stamp and coordinating die set, for her fun card. She then uses the holly paper from the Christmas Party paper pad to add lots of holiday ambience! Love the little touches of blue to accent this darling card!

Claire Lamb creates this stunning card using only dies! She creates her snowflakes using the newly released Snowfall die set. For her greenery, she uses the Pines & Holly die set. The sentiment is cut using the Let It Snow die. Claire's addition of white splatters and sparkly dots on the snowflakes adds lot of texture! Wonderfully done!

Debbie Owens' card is filled with sparkle and shine! She pulls the lavender glitter paper from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment and adds a layer using the snowy paper from the Snow Flurries paper pad. She then uses the scallop-edged die from the Frames & Flags die set. She creates a tag using the Bookmark die set on which she adds the silver snowflakes from the Falling Snow Toner Card Front and Snowfall die set. The sentiment is from the Let It Snow die. Her final touch is the addition of the snow globe from the Holiday Postage Sampler stamp set. Just love the snow globe on a snowy card!

Here's some inspiration.

December is the perfect time to add some bling to your crafts so bring out your glitters, foils, sequins and sparkle pastes to create a card with some shimmer and shine! Create a winter or holiday card with sparkly snowflakes or jump ahead and send a little New Year's cheer! A little bit of sparkle makes everyone happy! Let's see what bling the IPC team used!

Debbie's snowy card features Snowman Postage Sampler, Land Borders, Basic Frames, Cheerful Brights Glitter, Essential Tags, and Basic Frames by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmakingideas, #cardchallenge, #holidaycards, #nndstamps, #nndpapers, #wintercards, #snowmancards, #snowycards

Debbie Owens has creates a playful winter scene using lots of little snow people from the Snowman Postage Sampler stamp set. To create this wintery scene, Deb uses the Basic Frames die set to create the window. She then uses the blue glitter paper from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment for her sky as well as the Land Borders die set for her snow. She adds some snowflakes using the Snowfall die set. At last, she modifies the tag from the Essential Tags die set for her sentiment. A glittering winter wonderland!

She then adds an oval frame (Oval Frames die set) with the little living room scene from the Christmas Nap stamp and coordinating die set. She adds her sentiment to a banner.
