We are excited to be adding in a NEW inky paws challenge team member! Danni Bindel will be joining our Inspiration Team and we are so excited to see what she creates each week! She will begin helping inspire you on starting with Challenge #202 on Monday, July 10th!

Hello there crafty friends! My name is Danni Bindel and I am beyond excited to be joining the Inky Paws Challenge Team! I have been doing paper crafts for over 25 years and cardmaking for close to 19 years.

I love stamps and coloring the most but try to keep my passion alive by trying new things in the crafting world! 

On the rare occasion that I'm not in my craft room I enjoy spending time with my family, our pets- two cats, Alyssa who has chosen me as her human and Keke who has NOT chosen me as her human and my daughter's tortoise, Rocket. and I also enjoy reading, going to the zoo, going to the botanical gardens and I am just starting to enjoy starting some flower gardens for the bees, butterflies, etc.

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

As we bring you this week's inspiration, we want take to moment say good-bye to one of our amazing Inky Paws design team members, Diane Morales. 

Diane has been a long time part of the Inky Paws Challenge, first as a challenge participant and then a team member! Over the years her amazing shaped cards and creative interpretations of the challenges have provided so much inspiration! For her final IPC card, Diane doesn't disappoint. Below is here final IPC card, and it's just the cutest!

Diane uses the ever cute kitten from the Kitten Beach stamp and die set playing in his bucket of sand.  Joining him is a little red crab!  Diane creates a subtle background using the shell images from the same stamp set.  Her stitched circle was created using a die from the Circle Frames die set.  Those bright, summery papers are from the Summertime paper pad. Diane completes her card with matching enameled dots.  Another amazing card, Diane!

A big thank you to Diane for all her amazing projects over the years!

Crystal O. Minkler selects a mixture of papers from the A Cat's Life paper pad to create colorful layers for her card.  Crystal uses the Frames & Flags die set to create the scallop edges.  Sitting on a scalloped vellum oval (Oval Frames die set) is her sweet gray kitten from the Newton Loves Tacos stamp and coordinating die set.  This little guy is definitely enjoying his special day with a tasty taco!  Great job, Crystal!

Debbie Owens combines two stamp sets to create this playful and fun card!  That sweet kitten from the Newton's Flower Garden stamp set is stalking those red birds from the Birdhouse Greetings stamp set. She embosses the center oval (Oval Frames die set) and adds a sentiment cloud (Sky Scene Builder die set).  For the sketch stripes, Deb uses the Trailing Leaves stencil. Her bright blue background was die cut using the Frames & Flags die set to create the scallop edges.  A fabulous combination of products for such a fun card!

Amy Tollner designs a bright blue & pink birthday card purr-fect for anyone!  Her scallop-edged background was created using the A7 Frames & Banners die set. She adds blue balloon paper from the Birthday Party paper pad. For her oval (Oval Frames die set), Amy adds lots of confetti using the Confetti stencil.  That precious kitty holding his helium-filled balloons is from the Newton's Birthday Balloons stamp and coordinating die set.  What a way to celebrate a birthday!

Claire Lamb takes a creative take on the sketch with the sun (Oval Frames die set) being her oval element.  She adds some trees (Forest Scene Builder die set) and grassy knolls (Land Borders die set) that makes a perfect setting for her trio of fawns from the Deer Friend stamp and die set. This set is retiring, so be sure to get your set before they are all gone!  Don't you love how the grass is sun kissed?  Great job, Claire!

Crystal Minkler creates such a fun spring card filled with spring showers and pretty flowers! Those fun papers are from the Springtime paper pad. She stamps her wonderfully colored puppy from the Rainy Day Doxie stamp set on an oval from the Oval Frames die set. Her sentiment was stamped on a circle cut using the Circle Frames die set. A colorful, fun way to use the challenge sketch!

Debbie Owens uses the sketch in a playful way featuring the kitty from the Newton's Kite stamp set. She uses the Oval Frames die set for her center which she adds the Cloudy Sky stencil as well as the Land Border die set. All those fabulous papers are from the Spring Blooms paper pad. She adds a sentiment form the Birthday Roundabout stamp set to complete her bright, fun card!

Diane Morales designs the cutest birthday card using the Birdhouse Greetings stamp and die set. She pulls several papers from theBirthday paper pad to pull in the colors of her birdhouse. To break everything up, she adds her white oval using a die from the Oval Frames die set.  An adorable birthday card!

Amy Tollner brings us this beautiful, yet playful card. She uses the A7 Frames & Banners die set to create her card base. She pulls papers from the Springtime paper pad. The flowers in the paper coordinate wonderfully with the flowers in the bicycle basket. This sweet image is from the Loads of Blooms stamp and coordinating die set. For the yellow, polka-dotted oval, Amy uses the Oval Frames die set. Such a darling way to send birthday wishes!

Claire Lamb creates such an elegant card using the sky. She uses the Orchids stamp and coordinating die set. She places her beautiful flowers on an ivory oval framed with a golden, scallop-edged oval using the Oval Frames die set. For her background, she uses the Sky Borders die set to create a scalloped stripe. She also uses the Quatrefoil stencil to create a textured layer. The total effect is this gorgeous card!

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

This amazing square floral card by Debbie Owens is perfect for letting someone know they are in your thoughts! The flowers from our Floral Fringe Stamp Set look amazing in the challenge colors! She cut out the square layers using our Frames Squared Die Set and adds a little butterfly from our Newton's Flower Garden Stamp Set. The sentiment in the center is from our Spring Blooms Oval Stamp Set.

Special Guest, Jen Jackson (NND owner) created this adorable beachy card using the challenge colors! That kitty from the Newton's Summer Vacation Stamp Set is looking pretty cool on the beach with his sunshades! She cut the image of Newton out using the coordinating Newton's Summer Vacation Die Set. For the sunny sky she used the Sunscape Stencil over a scalloped panel that was die cut using the Frames & Flags Die Set. She added a bit of shine with the "shine bright" sentiment that was created using the Bright Sentiments Hot Foil Plates and trimmed out using our Banner Duo Die Set. A strip of green striped paper in the background from our Springtime Paper Pad adds an extra pop of green.

Diane Morales shares a beautiful trio flowers using the stem of daisy blooms from our Dainty Daisies Stamp Set. She colored the flowers in three of the challenge colors and cuts them out with the Dainty Daisies Die Set. For her background she created the 3 paneled frame using our A7 Frames and Banners Die Set. For a bit of shine and sparkle she adds a foiled sentiment using our Bright Sentiments Hot Foil Plates and trims it out using our Banner Duo Die Set. So pretty!

This card by Amy Tollner will surround you with sun & smiles! She features the lovely oval floral image from our Spring Blooms Oval Stamp Set and colors all the the flowers using the challenge colors. She cuts the big oval out using our Oval Frames Die Set and adds strips of paper along the bottom using our Springtime Paper Pad to tie in the colors! An orange bow and some sequins are the perfect finishing touches!

Debbie Owens created this fun card featuring some newly released products. Her magenta pink went a bit dark, but you'll get the idea! On her stitched panel (Frames & Flags die set) with its yellow gingham pattern (Spring Blooms paper pad) is the fabulous backdrop for her two birdhouses. These little houses are from the Birdhouse Greetings stamp set. She adds some green grass using the die from the Land Borders die set and striped paper from the Meowy Christmas paper pad. Her sentiment is from the Birthday Roundabout stamp set. A super cute card!

Debbie Owens has designed two cards this week. This more CAS card features Trailing Leaves stencil on a partially distressed yellow background. Her orange tabby from the Newton's Hanging Basket stamp set is looking quite content hanging out in his basket!

Diane Morales is showcasing the Succulent Garden stamp and coordinating die set. Her colorful succulents are looking so pretty against the green polka dotted paper from the A Cat's Life paper pad. She uses the scallop-edged frame from the Framework die set and the banner from the Bookmark die set for her sentiment.

Amy Tollner's pretty orange card base and window frame look amazing with the multi-colored stripes (Serene Stripes stencil). Amy uses the A7 Frames & Banners die set for her layers. For green elements are those prickly cacti from the Cuppa Cactus stamp and die set. She adds extra flowers from the Spring Blooms Oval stamp set. All those pretty sequins make this an amazing shaker card!

Amy's FAVE

Redbird uses the rainbow theme by making her firework display super colorful.  Riding through those fiery blooms (Fireworks stencil) is Newton (Newton's 4th of July stamp and coordinating die set) riding bravely on his rocket!  The coordinating envelope is a super fun touch!

Claire's FAVE

Marianne won over Claire with rainbow hearts. Marianne uses the Newton's Heart stamp and coordinating die set and uniquely colors the hearts in colors of the rainbow. Behind them she subtly adds more hearts with the Bokeh Hearts stencil set. Adding the white-embossed sentiment on black adds a nice dramatic touch!  

Crystal's FAVE

Crystal loved how Maria creates a rainbow using the Sunscape stencil. Riding through the kaleidoscope of colors is Newton with his rainbow scarf. This cute guy is from the Newton Scoots By stamp and die set. A fun way to incorporate rainbow colors into one's design!

Debbie's FAVE

Debbie loves how Moments of Crafting created a rainbow of fruity cocktails!.  These colorful drinks were created using the Cocktail Mixer stamp set. The water coloring beneath them was a fabulous way to continue the rainbow theme!

Diane's FAVE

Ingen repeatedly stamped her birthday sentiment (Birthday Roundabout stamp set) in shades of the rainbow. She then adds Newton in his rainbow-colored striped gift bag (Newton's Birthday Bash stamp set) and colorful tissue paper is a purr-fect way to send birthday greetings. Such a fun CAS design!
