Inky Paws Challenge #94

This biweekly challenge is a:
Color Challenge
Create a project using the colors: white, pink, baby blue, and mint.

Are you ready to get your paws inky with us and play along to win a prize? We will chose a RANDOM entry to win a $20 store credit to our Newton's Nook Design online shop! We will also highlight our favorites from each challenge the following Monday so all entries have a chance to be featured on this blog! 

You have TWO WEEKS to play along - Deadline to enter is Friday, April 5, 2019 at Midnight CST. The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.

A sweet spring hello by Becky features Floral Lace, Woodland Spring, Land Borders by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Becky Noelle creates this amazing Easter scene!  She uses the  Floral Lace stencil to create a beautiful textured background. For the those sweet critters from the Woodland Spring stamp set she uses the no line coloring technique.  She uses the Land Borders die to create the pretty grass. Her amazing ability to color with use light inks makes this a truly amazing card!

Hip, hip hooray by Bobbi features Bokeh, Loads of Blooms, and Uplifting Wishes by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Bobbi Lemanski designs this amazing card that features this amazing background using the Bokeh stencil set.  She then creates this amazing floral bouquet using the flower bunch from the Loads of Blooms stamp set.  The sentiment she pairs up with her bouquet is from the Uplifting Wishes stamp set. A sprinkling of sequins provides the finishing touch!

Hoppy Easter by Debbie features Newton's Easter Basket, Bunny Hop, Bokeh, and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Debbie Owens creates this soft, sweet Easter card. Using the challenge's colors and the Bokeh stencil set, to create her vertical striped background. She die cuts it using the Frames & Flags die set. She then embosses another layer and die cuts in an egg shape.  For her focal point, she lightly colors the Easter kitty from the Newton's Easter Basket stamp set. She adds some grass to the banner which she stamps a sentiment from the Bunny Hop stamp set.


For you by Diane features Flower Trio, Thankful Thoughts, and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Diane Morales creates these darling potted plants!  She creates these fabulous flowers by using the Flower Trio die set. She attaches them to paper straws and adds a banner using the Frames & Flags die set on which she has stamped the For You! sentiment from the Thankful Thoughts stamp set.  Such a fun way to add spring to one's household!


Happy blooming birthday by Sue features Loads of Blooms, Bold Blooms, and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Sue T. creates this amazing floral design by starting with a green polka-dotted pattern paper die cut from the Frames & Flags die set. Using the challenge's colors, she creates the floral background using the Bold Blooms stencil.  She adds pink & white twine before adding the sweet girl from the Loads of Blooms stamp and die set. A few enameled dots add a perfect finishing touch!

Enigma Artist  creates this delightful spring card with an Easter theme. She creates several layers using pastel papers as well as a fun floral pattern paper. In her center oval, she creates a soft sky and grassy background on which the spring critters from the  Spring Pile Up stamp and die set are having some fun!  Love how she made the sweet lamb look fluffy!

Some bunny loves you by Meghan features Bitty Bunnies by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Meghan brings us this pretty in pink bunny card!  Using a stencil , she intermittently inks her background. She then adds her little white bunny from the Bitty Bunnies stamp and die set and adds a pink fluffy tail on her. She adds pink jewels and sequins to add bling!  This is such a happy card with all the pinks!

Becky's FAVE
Nancy's clean and crisp card is a fabulous way to welcome spring.  Using the pointillism technique, she colors the sweet lamb from the  Woodland Spring stamp and die set in shades of gray. She frames the lamb by stamping the sentiment over his head and adds the floral spray below.  Shes a few clear jewels to balance out the card!  So sweet and precious!

Hello by Vicki features My Type by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Vicki  creatively designs this spring card around a typewriter!  Using a fun green and white polka dotted background, she adds a water colored layer in soft pastels. She then adds the typewriter ( My Type stamp and die set) with the hello sentiment "typed" on the paper.  She tucks the typewriter in around all the fresh spring flowers. So creative and fun!

You matter a whole bunch to me by Danni features Blooming Botanicals by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Danni brings us the all the bright colors of spring!  Using the Blooming Botanicals stamp set, Danni wonderfully shades the flowers in a plethora of fun, fresh colors. She stamps the sentiment on a banner and then adds dimension to her card by stamping and fussy cutting additional flowers from the stamp set and adding dimensional tape. Such a beautiful garden on a card!

Happy Birthday by Donna features Lovely Blooms and Birthday Essentials by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Donna brings us this gorgeous spring card with her stunning color scheme. She adds a black and white striped layer to her background and then stamps the floral images from the Lovely Blooms stamp set in a pretty teals and lavenders.  The placement of her flowers and leaves frames the sentiment from the Birthday Essentials stamp set. She adds some splatters and enamel dots to finish this lovely card.

Inky Paws Challenge #93 Reminder

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Here'a a refresher.

Create a project using Spring as your theme. 

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge! 

You're the best by Sue features Cottage Garden, Sunscape, Framework, and Fancy Edges by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Sue T. creates this spring card that will brighten up someone's day!  She creates her sunny background using the Sunscape stencil. She die cuts this using the Framework die. She then repeatedly stamps the sentiment from the Cottage Garden stamp in a pale pink. She cuts this into a tag using the Fancy Edges dies before adhering the tulip images from the Cottage Garden and die set.  She adds a twine bow for a finishing touch. Such a pretty way to brighten someone's day!

Happy Easter by Becky by Newton's Easter Basket and Land Borders by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Becky Noelle creates this pop up box card that is loaded in spring fun! After creating her box, Becky hides Easter eggs in the grass layers she created using the Land Borders die set. Also hiding in the grass is an Easter basket full of goodies including a kitty with bunny ears from the Newton's Easter Basket stamp set. She adds the sentiment and a couple of more eggs on the front flap!  This is definitely an egg-stra special card!


Hugs by Bobbi features Loads of Blooms by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Bobbi Lemanski creates a fabulous 3 1/4 x 8 inch CAS card!  She begins by repeatedly stamping the small flower image from the Loads of Bloom stamp set in black.  She colors  and die cuts the main image again from Loads of Bloom in bright springy colors. She adds lots of twine and finishes her card by adding black and white stripes to the two edges.  A fabulous card to celebrate spring!


Love no bunny butt you by Debbie features Bunny Hop, Bold Blooms, Framework, and Flags & Frames by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Debbie Owens creates this bright, spring card with a lime-green gingham paper die cut using the Framework die set.  She then uses the Bold Blooms stencil to create yellow, orange, and pink flowers which cut into a circle.  Using the Frame & Flags die set, she creates a shortened banner with her punny sentiment. For the finale, she stamps this delightful bunny from the Bunny Hop stamp set.


A nicer place by Diane features Loads of Bloom and Bold Bloom by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Diane Morales' card is definitely making the world a better place. She creates her pretty background using pastel yellows and the Bold Blooms  stencil set.  She then colors this lovely girl on her bicycle from the Loads of Bloom stamp set.  Such a lovely card!

She cuts a circle in it and adds a rainy background.  For her main attraction, she adds the little girl from the Loads of Bloom stamp and die set. She adds a strip of floral pattern paper and a splattering of flowers and enamel dots. Such a wonderful, spring card!


Happy Birthday by Becky features Lovely Blooms and Simply Sentimental by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Becky Noelle's begins by using Kraft card stock and a strip of white paper in which she adds a trio of bouquets from the Lovely Blooms stamp set look wonderful in their glass jars. She adds a happy birthday sentiment from the Simply Sentimental stamp set. As a final touch, she adds jute twine bows.  What amazing spring inspiration!

 Bobbi Lemanski used distressed inks and splotched water on it to created her watery sky. She adds her little girl in her yellow raincoat from the Loads of Bloom stamp and die set. She adds a little blue bird from the Raccoon Rascals stamp set and sprinkles some flowers on the ground. Wonderful spring card!

Rain or shine by Debbie features Sending Hugs, Umbrella Pals, Love Owl-Ways, Wagon of Wishes, Newton's Rainy Day, Frames & Flags, and Sky Borders by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Debbie Owens creates a fun slider card!  She begins with a polka-dotted foil background and adds a layer of clouds using the Sky Borders die. She uses the Frames & Flags die set to create the scalloped edges. She adds the sliding owl from the Love Owl-Ways stamp set and adds the froggy umbrella from the Umbrella Pals stamp set. She adds the kitten from the Sending Hugs stamp and die set who is also holding a froggy umbrella. Using the banner from  Frames & Flags die, she creates a banner and adds a sentiment from the Newton's Rainy Day stamp set. For an added touch of spring, she adds potted flowers from the Wagon of Wishes stamp set.

Dandi93 creates this crisp and clean card by using a portion of the Argyle stencil in shades of blue. She then colors the blankets in greens, yellows and blues before coloring her kitty from the Newton's Naptime stamp set in pale gray with dark gray stripes.

Charlotte  creates a vibrant plaid using the Plaid stencil which she pairs up with 
a tropical kitty from the Aloha Newton stamp set. The juxtaposition of plaid (a wintery thing to many of us) with the tropical kitty makes for a fabulous card!

Anna uses an unexpected color combination that just looks fabulous.  She uses a combination of polka dotted papers and adds a slice of softly colored watermelon from the Sweet Summer stamp set (retired) and embosses the sentiment on a small banner.

Here's to you by Donna features Cocktail Mixers by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Donna wowed us with her beautifully blended distressed background which she places on an embossed circle layer. Her two drinks from the Cocktail Mixer stamp and die set look delicious!  She adds a sewn strip of sequins for a bit of bling. A wonderful tropical card for all of us tired of winter and longing for either a tropical vacation or summer!

Something to perk up your day by Amy features Caffeinated Cats by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Amy keeps her card very clean by only water coloring the cats from the Caffeinated Cats stamp set with coffee! Her use of browns and reds paper creates a nicely designed card!

Diane Morales brings us this bright, fresh card full of color! She creates the pretty blue sky and adds a white scalloped-edge using the Framework die set. She then adds a green hill using the Land Borders die set. She then wonderfully colors this sweet spring image from the Loads of Blooms stamp and die set. Just love how the flowers are floating through the sky!



Lucky by Sue features Newton's Pot of Gold by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Sue T. gets us ready for St. Patrick's Day with this fabulous card. She adds a bright rainbow for the vertical stripe from the sketch and then wonderfully colors her lucky kitty from  the Newton's Pot of Gold stamp set. She even adds gold bling in the pot!  So fun!

Becky Noelle creates a speckled background on which she layers her sky and ground which she die cuts using the  Land Borders die. Then she adds that sweet kitty peeking from behind the Easter eggs. This little guy is from the Newton's Easter Basket stamp set. She embosses the sentiment and cuts using the Frames & Flags die set. So sweet!

Bobbi Lemanski creates this bright scene by creating a wooden pier with Winston from the 
Winston's Lake House stamp set lounging on his chair as the sharks from
 the Shark Frenzy stamp set swim menacing in the background!  She adds twine rope and embosses her sentiment on a black banner. Oh so clever!

Debbie Owens creates a fun grassy scene using the Land Border dies. She adds a sweet kitty from the Newton's Easter Basket stamp set and adds a fluffy tail with Nuvo dots. The fun butterflies are from the Newton's Day Dream stamp set (butterflies). She uses the Frames & Flags die set to create a scalloped edging on all her layers.
