Inky Paws Challenge Week 4

This beautiful color combo is perfect for spring cards and more! Create a garden scene, try adding the colors to a birthday card or mix in a pet with brown fur! Let's check out what our Design Team created:

Crystal Minkler slips in one more darling Easter card using the challenge colors. For this card she uses the sweet image from Newton's Peeps stamp and coordinating die set and sets him a top a trio of scalloped squares cut using the Frames Squared die set. The heart-dotted papers are from the Pastel Basics paper pad. Such a delightful Easter card!

Danni's card features Roses, Lattice, and Banner Trio by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnookdesigns, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #springcards, #thankyoucards

Danni Bindel is showcasing the newly released Lattice die. She places some gorgeous purple roses from the Roses stamp set climbing up the lattice. For her sentiment, she uses the diminsional banner from the Banner Trio dies. A lovely way to say thank you!

Debbie Owens has combined a couple stamp sets to create this playful card. She uses the kitty from the Newton's Birdbath stamp set with the kitten duo from the Spring Heights Stamp set. She places these clambering critters on a background using the Fractured Card Layout die. A super fun way to combine stamp sets!

Amy Tollner brings us this gorgeous spring card featuring the Spring Blooms Oval stamp set with a scallop-edged frame (Oval Frames die set). She places this on yellow-striped paper from the Pastel Basics paper pad which has been die cut using the postage-edged die from the Framework die set. Just love the brightness of this lovely card!

Claire Lamb uses her creativity by making a checker board using the rectangles from the Postage Stamp Layout die. She strategically placed them and then die cuts some yellow and some purple daisies using the Daisies die set. She then adds her sentiment from the Floral Delights stamp set. What a fantastic way to use the Daisies die set with the challenge colors!

Amy Tollner uses the Fractured Card Layout die to create this sweet Easter card. The green gingham paper comes from the Pastel Basics paper pad. Her central element is one of the darling bunnies from the Hop Into Spring stamp and coordinating die set. A great use of the challenge colors!

Claire's Easter card features Easter Postage Sampler, Spring Blooms Oval, and Basic Frames by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #spring, #springcards, #eastercards

Claire Lamb designs this darling CAS card using the little images from the Easter Postage Sampler stamp and die set. She places them on the stitched panel (Basic Frames die set). Using the zig-zag die from the Frames & Tags die, Claire pulls the green paper from the Spring Blooms paper pad for her background panel. She adds spring sentiment using the Spring Blooms Oval stamp set. Absolutely darling!

Crystal Minkler's use of yellow gingham and lavender heart papers (Pastel Basics paper pad) work wonderfully together. She aligns them on a Kraft card base. She then adds a Kraft scalloped-circle using the Circle Frames die set. At last, she adds her green vintage truck from the Spring Haul stamp and coordinating die set. Love all those pretty flowers in the truck's bed!

Danni Bindel creates a baa-thday card using the trio of sweet sheep from the Baa stamp and coordinating die set. She creates a purple border using the Postage Stamp Layout die, and then fills the panels with yellow or green papers. A bright way to send birthday greetings!

She then uses the Oval Frames die set to create the oval panels. Those beautiful flowers are from the Spring Blooms Oval stamp set with a sentiment from the Best Mom Oval stamp set. She completes her card with the cute bunny from the Hop Into Spring stamp set. Darling!

Crystal Minkler uses the Cherry Blossoms stamp and coordinating die set in such a creative way. Using the Postage Stamp Layout die, she creates six panels filled with the cherry blossoms. Such a beautiful way to celebrate spring!

Danni Bindel's darling puppy card is filled with cuteness. She uses two, blue pattern papers from the Spring Blooms paper pad with dies from the Basic Frames die set to create her brilliant layers. She then uses the puppies from the Spring Heights stamp and coordinating die set who are too cute with their gardening tools and pot of flowers!

Debbie's spring card features Heartfelt Blooms, Floral Delights, Spring Blooms, Plaid, Petite Flowers, and Newton's Flower Garden by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmakingideas, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #floralcards, #flowercards, #catcards

Debbie Owens uses two stencils, Petite Flowers and Plaid, to create her pink and green backdrop. She adds a spring of pink daisies from the Floral Delights stamps set, which she tucks behind the Quatrefoil panel created using paper from the Spring Blooms paper pad. Enjoying all the fresh flowers is the darling feline from the Newton's Flower Garden stamp set. Deb adds a sentiment from the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set for her final touch. So cute!

Amy Tollner's shower and flower card is so pretty with the pink, yellow, and orange color combo! She uses the pink striped paper from the Pastel Basics paper pad with the scallop-edged die from the Frames & Flags die set. Amy then stamps and colors all those gorgeous flowers from the Spring Blooms Oval stamp set framed with the scallop-edged oval (Oval Frames die set). The little Doxie in his bright yellow raincoat is from the Rainy Day Doxie stamp and coordinating die set, and he is looking absolutely adorable on this fab card!

Claire Lamb was also inspired to use the Cherry Blossoms stamp and coordinating die set. Claire uses the A2 Card Layout with her Kraft paper to create her panels. She lightly splatters this to add some texture that is just right for her sprigs of cherry blossoms. Just love the pink and Kraft together!

She adds a scalloped circle using floral paper from the Spring Blooms paper pad with the Circle Frames die set. She adds the round floral image from the Floral Roundabout stamp set . She uses the retiring bunny from the Hoppy Greetings stamp set as well as the image from the Spring Pile Up stamp set. She adds a sentiment from the Spring Roundabout stamp on a banner (Banner Trio Banner die set).

The overall effect is a spectacular Easter scene!

Claire Lamb creates a beautiful square card using dies from the Frames Squared die set. For her background, she uses the Butterflies stencil set with vibrant purples and yellows. She stamps a sentiment from the Spring Blooms Oval stamp set on the stitched circle. A gorgeous way to welcome spring!

Crystal Minkler 's bunny card is just so fun and playful! She creates her background using the dies from the Frames & Flags die set and papers from the Springtime paper pad. To create those darling bunnies, Crystal uses the Bunny Tails stencil set. Don't you love the little bunny tails! The sentiment is from the Spring Pile Up stamp set. So cute!!

Inky Paws Challenge #207 Reminder

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge!

Danni Bindel selects complimentary papers from the Autumn paper pad to coordinate with the mug of hot spiced cider from the Autumn Apples stamp and the coordinating die set. She continues by using the postage-edge frame from the Framework die set on a mustard-colored card stock. She stamps her sentiment on a stitched oval using the Oval Frames die set. The combination of colors and patterns is a perfect mix to celebrate autumn!

Debbie Owens is sharing two cards using the same papers with two very different themes. She is using the purple striped paper from the Halloween Meows paper pad and the green hounds tooth paper from the Canine Christmas paper pads. After cutting her diagonal strips, she uses half of them on her Halloween card which features the feline monster from the Franken-Newton stamp set. She uses a combination of dies from the Frames & Flags die set and the Framework die set. Now take a peek of how she uses the other half of those diagonal strips.
Her second card has a more autumn feel with the lavender mum from the Chrysanthemum stamp set. She uses the Framework die set, and a sentiment from the Fall Roundabout stamp set. What a great way to use up those strips of paper for two uniquely different cards!

Amy Tollner picks a trio of papers from the Halloween Meows paper pad and the Halloween Woofs paper pad that gives her card a very scary vibe. She then white embosses some spooky eyes and sentiment from the Spooky Street stamp set on a black oval (Oval Frames die set). Don't you just love all those scary eyes looking at you? Love it!

Claire Lamb uses the challenge sketch for a more soothing card with her diagonal stripes mimicking the colors of a rain shower. Enjoying his time in the rain is our darling dachsund from the Rainy Days Doxie stamp and coordinating die set. She pulls her sentiment from the Spring Blooms Oval stamp set. A wonderful card for friends in the Pacific Northwest!

Crystal Minkler delights us with another Halloween card. Crystal selects papers from the Halloween Meows paper pad with her sentiment stamped on ovals created using the Oval Frames. She continues the fun by adding the little feline in her boot from the Witchy Newton stamp and coordinating stamp set for the inside of her card. She creates a fun sentiment using stamps from the Spiderweb Oval and the Spring Blooms Oval stamp set.
