   Welcome to a new Inky Paws Challenge!

This challenge is a

Color Challenge.

Use the colors-Orange, Green, Black, & Cream.

Are you ready to get your paws inky with us and play along to win a prize? We will chose a RANDOM entry to win a $20 store credit to our Newton's Nook Design online shop! We will also highlight our favorites from each challenge the following Monday so all entries have a chance to be featured on this blog! 

You have TWO WEEKS to play along - Deadline to enter is Friday, September 23, 2022 at Midnight CST. The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.

Here's some inspiration from the IPC Design Team:

Diane Morales uses the challenge colors for this sweet, autumn scene.  Using the Frames Squared die set, Diane makes a scallop-square card base. She then uses a plaid paper from the Autumn paper pad for her sky and makes her grass using the Land Borders die set.  Enjoying this nice autumn day is one of the darling mice from the Autumn Mice stamp and die set. So cute!

Sue T. opts to use the challenge colors for a gorgeous floral card. She uses the large speech bubble die (Speech Bubbles die set) to make her black element and adds beautiful flowers using images from the Beautiful Blossoms stamp and die set. On her cream card base, she stamps "Be Thankful" using a sentiment from the Autumn Newton stamp set.  Beautiful!

Amy Tollner was inspired to use the colors for this bright, not-too-spooky Halloween card! She colors the kitty witch's boot (Witchy Newton stamp and die set) in a bright green and places it on a vellum oval (Oval Frames die set).  She pulls the batty paper from the Halloween Woofs paper pad cut using the scallop-edged frame die (Frames & Flags die set).  She heat embosses the white sentiment (Spooky Roundabout stamp set) on a black banner (Banner Trio die set).  She finishes it off with a couple of spooky bats (Halloween Trio Die set).  Fab(boo)lous!

Claire Lamb is showcasing her incredible ability to create spook-tacular backgrounds! She adds some trees (Forest Scene Builder die set) to her full-moon scene and uses the Land Borders die set to create her ground. Two critters decked out in their costumes from the Halloween Pile stamp and die set bravely walk through the scene escorted by a trio of bats. To finish off her card, Claire pulls a sentiment from the Spiderweb Oval stamp set. 

 Debbie Owens' Halloween card looks like it's set in a hallway manor. She creates her scene using the green-striped wallpaper from the Halloween Meows paper pad. Deb cuts the paper using the postage-edge die from the Framework die set. Look at the portrait of the Bride of Franken-Newton (Franken-Newton stamp set) in her spooky frame (Creepy Cameos retiring stamp set, which is on sale for $4.99!). Enjoying that portrait is our very own Franken-Newton as he shambles down the hallway!  So clever!

Miss Boo creates this sweet, serene card beginning with a soft green paper filled with white blooms. She adds her white daisies from the  Dainty Daisies stamp and coordinating die set atop a pastel teal panel. To give her card a sense of movement, she adds a couple of butterflies.

Inky Paws Challenge #124 Favorites

Our Inky Paws Challenge Inspiration team has chosen a few of their favorite challenge entries from this challenge! If you see your card below, contact us if you'd like to get a "favorite" badge for your blog!

Becky's FAVE

On a slimline card, Farhana white embosses the floral wreath from the Happy Little Thoughts stamp set three times and elegantly water colors them. She adds a sentiment from the Floral Fringe stamp set in the center wreath. What a beautiful card!

Crystal's FAVE

Liba makes fabulous use of the Bloom digital image by printing and coloring a plethora of flowers. She colors them in bright colors and places them in a blue envelop which is place on top of a geometric background.  Her whole card just overflows with happiness!

Debbie's FAVE

Vicki's use of the flowers in the Beautiful Blossoms stamp set make for a very pretty sympathy card. She repeatedly stamps the floral images on a pink card stock. She stamps and uses the coordinating die set before adding them to the cream squares with black framing. The overall effect is both beautiful and dramatic. 

Diane's FAVE

Mugdha's floral background is a beautiful way to showcase two of the feline images from the Aloha Newton stamp set. The Hawaiian kitties are popped up by foam tape on a circle of vellum.  A beautiful way to celebrate the summer season. 

Sue's FAVE

The bright pink gingham pattern at the bottom Priscilla Joseph's CAS card was made using the Gingham stencil. It creates a wonderful foundation on which she places the rustic wagon from the Wagon of Wishes stamp set (retired).  Filled with all those potted plants, this card is sure to bring loads to happiness!

Inky Paws Challenge #82 Favorites

Debbie's FAVE

Bobbi's bright, bold colors really makes her card stand out, but look a little closer!  Using the 

Cocktail Mixer stamp and die sets, Bobbi fabulously "spooks" up this set by making the olives into eyeballs, adding rolling eyes on the ice cubes, and transforming the garnish into candy corn and a spider!  Seriously creative!  She die cuts the cheer sentiment and embosses the Halloween sentiment from the Halloween Trio stamp set on black.  Striking!

Diane's FAVE

Donna creatively uses the challenge colors using A Cozy Day In stamp set. Her choice of pattern papers work wonderfully together. We love how she adds the title, "Ghost Stories," to the book!  Such a creative way to "Halloween-ify" this stamp set!

Emily's FAVE

Bharati creates this striking bright background using the Falling Leaves stencil. Using Distress Inks, she stamps the leaves in vibrant colors and then goes over it again with Versamark transparent ink before embossing with clear powder. She then goes over with green embossed ink. She adds her black strip and adds flowers colored in alcohol inks from the Beautiful Blossoms stamp set. Beautiful!

Sue's FAVE

Sunny Stamper's use of white space highlights her coloring of the green sloth in her coffee mug . She uses the darling Slothy Coffee stamp set. Simply fabulous design!

Becky's FAVE

Lisa brews up a fabulous punny blend of Halloween and coffee. Her distressed background in the challenge colors looks fabulous with the silhouetted landscape elements. After playing all night, Newton from the Newton's Boo-tiful Night stamp set, looks like he is in desperate need of some java Joe!  By adding the coffee sentiment and coffee mug from the Newton Loves Coffee stamp set, Lisa's card is too cute!

Inky Paws #30 Favorites

This rose card by Shannon caught our eye - the watercolors are just so yummy!  She used the lovely flowers from the Love Grows stamp set! 

We loved this spring card with the bunny holding both tulips and an umbrella by Mary Gable! She used the image of Lily, our bunny, from the Hello Spring stamp set! 

We really loved how Mindy Baxter colored the rolling pin and spoon to have such a cool woodgrain texture! She used our Made From Scratch stamp set!

Crafty Math-Chick created this fun ice cream card using our new Summer Scoops stamp set!  I love that she added on sunglasses for the orange creamsicle from the  Newton's Summer Vacation stamp set!

Ready to hang out out the beach like this cute kitty? Yukari created this fun beach scene - I love how she colored the sand and water with distress inks! She used our Newton's Summer Vacation stamp set! 

Jess was inspired to create a rainbow of summer blooms using the Beautiful Blossoms stamp set!

Kimberly created a fun rainbow beach towel and umbrella for the cute kitty from the Newton's Summer Vacation stamp set! Perfect for summer!

Nina-Marie created this adorable scene with the cat from the Newton's Antics stamp set sailing off in his little box! She created the "sail" using the fin from the Shark Bites stamp set! 

 Samantha created this yummy rainbow of popsicles using our new Summer Scoops stamp set! What flavor would you choose?  

Here's a Summer card by me - I used Newton's Summer Vacation stamp set to create a fun summer  birthday card! I added some paint splatter and watercolor around the kitty to add more of a beachy feel!
