Marianne creatively used the Tree Rings stencil by making the rings in different colors of the rainbow.  She added her ice cream lovin' feline from the Newton's Summer Treats stamp and die set. She adds her white-embossed sentiment on a black circle.  Such a fun way to use the rainbow theme!

Amy's FAVE

Redbird uses the rainbow theme by making her firework display super colorful.  Riding through those fiery blooms (Fireworks stencil) is Newton (Newton's 4th of July stamp and coordinating die set) riding bravely on his rocket!  The coordinating envelope is a super fun touch!

Claire's FAVE

Marianne won over Claire with rainbow hearts. Marianne uses the Newton's Heart stamp and coordinating die set and uniquely colors the hearts in colors of the rainbow. Behind them she subtly adds more hearts with the Bokeh Hearts stencil set. Adding the white-embossed sentiment on black adds a nice dramatic touch!  

Crystal's FAVE

Crystal loved how Maria creates a rainbow using the Sunscape stencil. Riding through the kaleidoscope of colors is Newton with his rainbow scarf. This cute guy is from the Newton Scoots By stamp and die set. A fun way to incorporate rainbow colors into one's design!

Debbie's FAVE

Debbie loves how Moments of Crafting created a rainbow of fruity cocktails!.  These colorful drinks were created using the Cocktail Mixer stamp set. The water coloring beneath them was a fabulous way to continue the rainbow theme!

Diane's FAVE

Ingen repeatedly stamped her birthday sentiment (Birthday Roundabout stamp set) in shades of the rainbow. She then adds Newton in his rainbow-colored striped gift bag (Newton's Birthday Bash stamp set) and colorful tissue paper is a purr-fect way to send birthday greetings. Such a fun CAS design!

Dayna's blue margarita really catches one's eye!  What a perfect way for Newton (Newton Loves Taco stamp and die set) to celebrate the 4th of July.  She captures the spirit of the holiday with her fireworks (Fireworks stencil) in the background and the red and white gingham paper.  

Diane's FAVE

Debbie Frank's stamps surfboards in the challenge colors for her background which works perfectly with the two vehicles from the  Beach Bound stamp and die laden with their surfboards! Such a creative idea!

Sue's FAVE

Andrea W. creatively colors the flowers from the Newton's Bloom stamp and die set in shades of blue and red.  She sets her potful of kitties and flowers on oval layers using the Oval Frames die set.  She pulls a sentiment from the Sending Hugs (retiring) stamp set. This card is sure to bring smiles the recipient's face!

Melanie H. makes a foldable card filled with the cutest trio of kittens from the Newton's 4th of July stamp and die set.  Don't you just love how Newton is rocketing across a starry night sky as the other Newton's wave their sparklers? 😻

Claire's FAVE

Ava creatively uses the challenge colors in a non-patriotic way. Her red, blue, and turquoise-blue flowers from the Floral Roundabout stamp set are striking, especially against the red circle die cut using the Circle Frames die set. Such an amazing card!

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

With patriotic floral paper, Debbie Owens mimics the flowers by combining the Roses and Dainty Daisies stamp sets. She die cuts her layers using the scallop-edged frame from the Frames & Flags die set, and stamps the sentiment from the Birthday Essentials stamp on a white banner. The jute twine adds a nice country touch!

Diane Morales has Newton (Newton's 4th of July stamp and die set) enjoying the holiday! Diane uses papers from the Coffee House Stories and the Love & Meows paper pads with dies from the Circle Frames and Frames & Flags die sets to create her festive layout. This fun card could be used for the 4th of July or a birthday! 

Sue T. uses the firework blooms from the Newton's 4th of July stamp and coordinating die set to create the festive background. The kitten and puppy from this same set look like they are enjoying the festivities in their little red wagon!  A spattering of gems and star-shaped jewels add the purr-fect bit of shimmer!

Amy Tollner has her kitten (Newton's 4th of July stamp and die set) rocketing through a shimmery nighttime sky filled with fireworks (Fireworks stencil). She uses the large frame die from the Framework die set to achieve the postage-edging. She finishes with a sentiment from the Birthday Essentials stamp set and some sequins!

Claire Lamb uses the challenge colors in a very unique and beautiful way. She pulls the blue jay from the Winter Birds stamp and coordinating die set and places him among layers of beautiful blue leaves (Fall Friends die set) and red holly sprigs. Look closely and you'll spy some snowflakes made using the Petite Snow stencil. Spectacular!

This challenge is a

Colors Challenge

Use the colors Crimson Red, Cobalt Blue, Turquoise Blue, and white with your Newton's Nook Designs products.

Are you ready to get your paws inky with us and play along to win a prize? We will chose a RANDOM entry to win a $20 store credit to our Newton's Nook Design online shop! We will also highlight our favorites from each challenge the following Monday so all entries have a chance to be featured on this blog! 

You have TWO WEEKS to play along - Deadline to enter is Friday, July 1, 2022 at Midnight CST. The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.

 Debbie Owens starts the celebration with this delightful slimline card created using the Slimline Frames & Windows die set. She uses patriotic papers in each window and places a celebratory kitty in each window using images from the Newton's 4th of July stamp set. She stamps the sentiment on the little banner from the A7 Frames & Banners die set.

Diane Morales takes us under the sea with this a-meow-zing card!  She creates the watery background using the Waves stencil and adds a big white wave using the Sea Borders die set.  In shades of red and shades of blue are the two darling purr-maids from the Purr-Maid Newton stamp and die set. Such a creative use of the challenge colors!

Sue T. brings more 4th of July fireworks with this festive CAS card!  Using the Fireworks stencil, she adds red and blue firework blooms. Zooming past is Newton from the Newton's 4th of July stamp and die set on his very own rocket! She adds the sentiment in a speech bubble using the Speech Bubbles die set.  Ka-boom!

Amy Tollner creatively uses the Newton's Naptime stamp set for her red, white, and blue card!  Newton is snuggled atop a pile of patriotic blankets fast asleep with sparkling stars (Cascading Stars stencil) shining in the background. She uses the Frames & Flags die set to create her sentiment banner.  Fabulous!

Claire Lamb celebrates the 4th of July with lots of shimmer with her amazing card using the A7 Frames & Banners die set. In the windows, she uses black shimmery papers with firework blooms just purr-fect for the patriotic critters from the Newton's 4th of July stamp and die set.  Let the celebrations begin!

It's happy hour on Sue T.'s card!  Four colorful cocktails from the Cocktail Mixer stamp and coordinating die set await someone special!  Sue's addition of the yellow fireworks (Fireworks stencil) adds a festive touch as does all those jewels!  Cheers!

Amy Tollner sets her cups of cacti (Cuppa Cactus stamp and coordinating die set) against a beautiful sunset background. She uses the Slimline Frames & Portholes die set to create a scalloped frame. She uses the Slimline Masking Circles & Squares stencil set for those beautiful windows!

Claire Lamb colors a vibrant, variegated skein of yarn just purr-fect for the playful feline from the Newton Unwinds stamp and coordinating die set! Her distressed background on the stitched layer (Frames & Flags die set) looks wonderful with the sentiment from the Kitten Beach stamp set.  So cute!

 Debbie Owens adds a duo of party-lovin' llamas (Loveable Llamas stamp set) atop a pretty landscape created using the Mountains stencil, the Clouds stencil, and the Hills & Grass stencil sets. She adds some shiny balloons from the Cycling Friends stamp set. The sentiment is added to a speech bubble using the Speech Bubbles die set.  Time to party!

Diane Morales creates this amazing oval-shaped card (Oval Frames die set) with the gorgeous flowers from the Best Mom Oval stamp set. The bright colors and multi-layers make for an amazing card!
