   Welcome to a new Inky Paws Challenge!

This challenge is a:

Color Challenge

Use the colors-Red, Pink, Yellow, and White.

Are you ready to get your paws inky with us and play along to win a prize? We will chose a RANDOM entry to win a $20 store credit to our Newton's Nook Design online shop! We will also highlight our favorites from each challenge the following Monday so all entries have a chance to be featured on this blog!

Diane Morales' sweet critters  in their festive wagon know just how to watch fireworks!  These sweet image is from the Newton's 4th of July stencil and coordinating die set.  She places them in the center of her three panel card base die cut from the Slimline Frames & Portholes die set.  In the other windows, you'll see blooms of fireworks created using the Fireworks stencil.  An amazing way to celebrate the 4th of July!

Sue T. creates a tag using the Fancy Edges Tag die set to showcase the challenge colors. Set atop an embossed card base, she stamps the newly released Seashell Roundabout stamp image on her tag.  To add color, she uses the Bokeh stencil set to add the red, pink, and yellow accents.  Wow, doesn't that look fab!  For her sentiment, she stamps it on the rounded corner banner using the Banner Trio die set.  Again, wow!

Amy Tollner creates a baking sensation using several key ingredients!  She begins with a slimline card base and mixes dies from the Slimline Frames & Portholes and the Slimline Frames & Windows die sets to create her layered card base in white card stock and pink glitter paper.  She whips up a pretty pink background using the Slimline Masking Circles & Squares stencil set and the Tumbling Hearts stencil.  She sprinkles images from the Made From Scratch stamp and die set to finish her masterpiece!

Claire Lamb creates a spectacular ocean and beach background by hand to place her ladies from the Summer Moments stamp set.  What a perfect scene to relax and enjoy a summer day!  Amazingly done, Claire!  Anyone else want to visit her beach? 

 Debbie Owens designs a slimline card filled with the three lady images from the Summer Moments stamp set enjoying some summer sunshine!  She uses the Slimline Frames & Portholes die set to create her three windows. Then uses the Retro Sun & Palms and the Sunscape stencil sets to create the sun within the circular windows!  She keeps everything else white to give her card a clean, fresh background!  Beautiful!

Inky Paws Challenge #83 Reminder

 Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge!

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge! 

Diane Morales creates this cheerful Halloween card by repeatedly stamping the candy corns from the Candy Corn stamp set. She stamps the sentiment (which is so fun) on a circle and attaches to the stripe that she creates using the Sky Borders die.

Emily Lauritzen gives us this Christmas beauty by water coloring the blue background which she cuts using the Framework die set. She attaches it to the silver glitter paper which she die cut from the Frames & Flags die set. Her  ornaments which she water colors spectacularly are from the Beautiful Baubles stamp set. She cuts her waving stripe using the Land Borders die set and uses a sentiment from the Sentiments of the Season stamp set.

Sue T. brings us yet another striking Halloween card!  She uses a combination of fun pattern papers to create her background and stripe. She then incorporates a crescent-shaped moon as part of the sketch's circle.  With Newton hanging off his broom from Newton's Boo-tiful Night stamp set and the die cut sentiment from the Halloween Trio die set, this is such a delightful card!

Becky Noelle used The Snow Globe Scenes and Sentiments of the Season stamp sets and the Starfield Stencil. I masked off my sky area and inked it up with Distress Oxides before stenciling the stars with texture paste, I sprinkled some glitter on top of the texture paste before it dried to make it sparkly and my little scene inside the circle is a shaker!

Debbie Owens whips up her card by using cooking/baking themed papers. She cuts the background using the Framework die set. She then selects an assortment of kitty images from the Made from Scratch, Newton's Kitchen, and the Newton's Thanksgiving stamp sets to show the steps of making a pie--stir, knead, roll, and enjoy!  She adds a bit of twine for a finishing touch!

Inky Paws Challenge #75 Reminder

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our Theme Challenge!

As we bring you this week's inspiration, we want take to say good-bye to two of our amazing Inky Paws design team members. 

First we wish Andrea Shell from blissfully scrappy  a fond farewell. Andrea has delighted us with her amazing talent. Her clean style, amazing coloring skills, and attention to details have provided so much inspiration! For her final IPC card, Andrea doesn't disappoint. Her subtle background using Bubbly stencil is perfect for the Newton (Newton's Vacation stamp set) as he goes snorkeling in his fish bowl. She uses the Sending Smiles sentiment from the Sending Hugs stamp set. The black and white stripe balances her card wonderfully! A big thank you to Andrea for all her amazing projects! Best wishes to your future endeavors!

We are also saying good-bye to Zsofia Molnar from safsafdesign. Zsofia's creativity seems to have no end. Her fabulously designed layouts and use of bright colors can be counted on to bring a smile and inspire! For her last card, she created a custom background by repeatedly stamping the little donuts and sprinkles from the Newton's Donut stamp. She then fabulously colors the big donut and kitty and then  uses the coordinating die set. She uses Essential Alphabet die set to create the "sweet" sentiment. The scallop border was made using the Frames & Flags die set. What a delicious project!  Thanks, Zsofia, for all your amazing projects!

But don't worry! We still will have amazing inspiration each Monday with Diane, Emily, and Debbie. Plus, we will be adding two awesome new designers to our team. Stay tuned for an announcement later this week! Meanwhile, here's what they created for the reminder today:

Diane Morales brings us another darling pair of tags!  This time she creates a bright background, and then used the Balloon Shaker die set. Those sweet critters are from the Farmyard Friends stamp set. Such a fun way to tag a gift!

Emily Lauritzen creates a pop-up paradise with this fabulous project. Her tropical scene with the sunny background includes images from the Newton's Aloha  and Toucan Party stamp sets. The sentiment is from Newton's Birthday Bash. 

Debbie Owens whips up this culinary delight by combining key ingredients from 

 the Sending Hugs stamp and die set, the Newton Loves Cake, Newton's Kitchen,  and Made from Scratch stamp sets. The fun pink background was created by using the Serene Stripes stencil. The scallop bordered was a combination of the Frames & Flags  and Framework die sets.

 Diane Morales showcases the new Newton's Sweetheart stamp and die set.  Her soft coloring and the added heart accents make this a card anyone could be smitten with!

Zsofia Molnar showcases Sending Hugs stamp and die set.  This trio of critters with the words above their heads is just delightful. The little spot around the puppy's eye is a fabulous touch!

Andrea Shell creates the sweetest, soft scene showcasing this darling deer from Deer Friend stamp set. She uses Tumbling Hearts stencil to create her pink sky. She uses the Holiday Foliage stencil to create her grass.  So creative!

Debbie Owens bakes up this sweet card combining Newton Loves Cake stamp set and
Made from Scratch stamp set. The little paw print edging and bit of twine are sweet finishing touches!

Diane Morales has whipped up a delightful birthday card using Made from Scratch stamp set.  I adore how she has subtly stamped the whisk image on the white and paired it up with the pattern paper!

 Zsofia Molnar use of shades of blue creates a beautiful, yet playful, Christmas card. I love how she incorporates the large snowflake into her design as well as her superb coloring of Winston from Sweater Weather stamp set. 

Debbie Owens showcases this darling bunny from Touchdown Tails stamp set cheering her team to victory! I love the silver glitter paper and shimmery stars!

Emily Lauritzen treats us with a magical card using Believe in Unicorns stamp set.  I love the pastel rainbow and the shimmery sky that uses the Starfield Stencil!  Wow!

Andrea Shell has combined all the best elements of a good party--hats, cupcakes, balloons--with her bright, festive card. With her cute kitten from Newton's Birthday Bash stamp set peeking out between the polka dotted tissue paper, this card is sure to brighten up someone's day!
