Inky Paws Challenge #247--Final Week of 2025

We are counting down the final days of the 2025 IPC Challenge!

You have until December 19 to get creative adding sparkle & shine to your holiday projects!

You have until Friday, December 19, 2025 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project. 

Here's some inspiration.  

It's hard to believe that we are in our final days of the 2025 Inky Paws Challenge year! It's been so fun providing inspiration each month showcasing ways to use your Newton's Nook Designs projects. For our final 2025 challenge, the IPC team has created some amazing holiday cards as well as several snow-filled ones! Let's check them out:

 

Kelly Santi snowy card is so cute with the spinner element. She showcases two snowy papers from the Snow Flurries paper pad and uses the Basic Frames die set to create her stitched layers. She then uses the darling kitty from the Snow Angel Newton stamp and coordinating die set and adds a spinner to make the kitty look like he's making snow angels!  Such a fun idea!

Amy Tollner is using a holiday classic stamp set, Santa Paws Newton stamp and coordinating die set, for her fun card. She creates her card design using the A2 Card Layout 2 die with the green paper from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment. She then uses the holly paper from the Christmas Party paper pad to add lots of holiday ambience!  Love the little touches of blue to accent this darling card!

Claire Lamb creates this stunning card using only dies! She creates her snowflakes using the newly released Snowfall die set. For her greenery, she uses the Pines & Holly die set. The sentiment is cut using the Let It Snow die. Claire's addition of white splatters and sparkly dots on the snowflakes adds lot of texture!  Wonderfully done!

Danni Bindel creates this elegant holiday card using the Heartfelt Holidays stamp set (Heart Frames die set) with coordinating paper from the Christmas Time paper pad. She creates her scallop border using the Frames & Tags die set. She places her sentiment on a banner using the Banner Trio die set. Love all the holiday foliage!

Debbie Owens' card is filled with sparkle and shine! She pulls the lavender glitter paper from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment and adds a layer using the snowy paper from the Snow Flurries paper pad. She then uses the scallop-edged die from the Frames & Flags die set. She creates a tag using the Bookmark die set on which she adds the silver snowflakes from the Falling Snow Toner Card Front and Snowfall die set. The sentiment is from the Let It Snow die. Her final touch is the addition of the snow globe from the Holiday Postage Sampler stamp set. Just love the snow globe on a snowy card!

Inky Paws Challenge #235-Week 3

Inky Paws Challenge!

For the month of December, 

we have fabulous theme that can work for any occasion!

You still have a few more days to get creative with this great theme--Year End, aka Anything Goes!

Here's some inspiration.  

Claire Lamb finishes her 2024 year with another fabulously distressed holiday card! After distressing, Claire uses the Christmas Word Trio die set to create lots of word panels which she artistically adds to her card. She then uses the Circle Frames die set to create her stictched circle on which she stamps her sentiment from the Bells & Holly stamp set. She adds a few snowflakes (Snow Globe Shaker die set) as her final touches!  A super creative holiday card!

Crystal Minkler finishes her 2024 with a delightful thank you card!  She uses dies from the Basic Frames and the Frames & Flags die sets to create her multiple layers. For her Kraft layer, she uses the Evergreens stencil to create her white trees for the background.  Her star attraction is her pretty lady from the Pumpkin Latte stamp and coordinating die set. Crystal then adds her big and bold sentiment using the recently released Thanks a Latte die set. Wow!

Danni Bindel finishes the 2024 year with this very caffeinated birthday card!  Danni uses papers from the recently released Coffee Shop paper pad and die cuts using the scallop-edged die from the Frames & Flags die set). She then adds the coffee-laden image from the Heartfelt Coffee stamp set and cuts using the Heart Frames die set. She stamps her birthday sentiment on a banner from the Banner Trio die set. A spectacular way to send birthday wishes!

Debbie Owens finishes the 2024 year with this rustic, yet elegant, holiday card featuring the bells from the  Bells & Holly stamp set. She adds the pines and holly paper from the Christmas Time paper pad. Her final touches include the sentiment on the stitched oval (Oval Frames die set) with a pine cone and foliage using the Pines & Holly die set. Happy holidays, indeed!

Amy Tollner finishes the 2024 year with this stack of puppies from the Dog Christmas Tree  and coordinating die set. She sets her festive pack on the cute presents paper from the Canine Christmas paper pad which has been die cut using the postage-edge die from the Framework die set. A playful way to celebrate the holidays!

Amy Tollner designs a warm, cozy room filled with so much cuteness!  On her scallop-edge frame (Frames & Flags die set), she adds texture to her walls using the Serene Stripes stencil. She then pulls images from the Cozy Home stamp set and coordinating die set.  A perfect place to enjoy a cold, wintry day!

Claire Lamb creates this fabulous, warm & cozy, card using the green gingham paper from the Autumn Paper Pad. She uses the newly relased Coffee Mug Hot Foil Plate & Die set to create her coffee mug. For added texture, Clairea dds boughs of pines and holly (Pines & Holly die set). To complete her card, she adds a sentiment from the Newton's Mug stamp set.

Danni Bindel has a great way to spend a cold, wintry day--coffee, a good book, and a cuddly cat!  For her background, she pulls papers from the Coffee House Stories paper pad which she die cuts using the Circle Frames and the Frames & Flags die sets.  That fabulous image is from the Sips & Stories Stamp set.  

Debbie Owens was also inspired to use the Cozy Home stamp set. Her furry friends are enjoying the two an afternoon nap on the matching arm chairs!  She places the sentiment in a little frame which hangs proudly on the wall!

Have you had a chance to make a card for our latest Inky Paws Challenge? 

Here's a refresher.

Use the challenge colors, Pine Bough Green, Christmas Red, Kraft, and Black, with your NND products. 

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Danni Bindel showcases the Newton's Stocking stamp and coordinating die set. She does some paper piecing of the stocking to coordinate with the plaid paper in the background.  All those spectacular papers come from the Christmas Time paper pad. She die cuts her holiday sentiment in black using the Holiday Greetings die set. She uses the Framework die set to make all those fancy-edged layers. Darling!

Debbie Owens showcases the sweet trio of napping critters from the Fireside Friends stamp set. Those cuddling critters are placed in front of a gold holiday foliage panel (Holiday Foliage Hot Foil Plate). For her background, Deb uses the Hardwood stencil (retiring) on black and cut using the postage-edged frame die (Framework die set). Her golden sentiment uses the Holiday Greetings Hot Foil Plate. What a cozy scene!

Amy Tollner uses a trio of mice from the Naughty or Mice stamp and coordinating die set for her festive holiday slimline card. Her trio of panels uses plaid paper from the Meowy Christmas paper pad.  To make her layers she uses dies from the Slimeline Frames & Portholes and the Slimline Frames & Windows die set.  The glittery green paper looks fabulous!

Claire Lamb designs her own background using the sentiments from the Scandi Christmas stamp set.  Doesn't it look fabulous?  She then uses the Pines & Holly die set to create a gorgeous wreath.  For her sentiment, she uses the little banner die from the A7 Frames & Banners die set with a sentiment from the Heartfelt Holidays stamp set.  A fabulously designed holiday card!

Crystal Minkler also uses the Newton's Stocking stamp for her darling holiday card.  She places her stocking on a stitched circle (Circle Frames die set) using the zigzag paper from the Meowy Christmas paper pad. She embosses the white sentiment on a black panel.  Simply speCATular!

Lazzie designs this super CAS card filled with holiday cuteness!  The bright blue ornaments in the background (Ornaments stencil) make for a fabulous background for the naughty kitten.  That little guy is from the A Kitten Christmas stamp and coordinating die set.  The added boughs of pine (Pines & Holly die set) are a perfect touch to finish the card!

Danni's FAVE

Kristi creates a playful card featuring the mischievous feline from the Newton's Holiday Mischief stamp and die set. She pairs him with fun papers from the Christmas Time paper pad. The string of lights at the top is a fun touch!

Debbie's FAVE

Becca combines festive papers and two little mugs of hot chocolate for a darling holiday card!  Those feline mugs are from the Cup of Cocoa stamp and coordinating die set. The teal and red look amazing together!

Amy's FAVE

Christy's shimmering blue stocking complete with a darling Newton won Amy's vote. This sweet kitty is from the Newton's Stocking stamp set and coordinating die set. For even more fun, Christy adds strips of holiday papers from the Meowy Christmas paper pad. Super fun!

Claire's FAVE

Fiki's shaker tags will definitely brighten up a holiday gift!  Fiki uses the Newton's Gift stamp set and colors the images so festively. She fills them with lots of sparkles!  So fun!

Amy Tollner finds the perfect mix of papers from the Spring Blooms paper pad to compliment her gorgeous butterflies from the Monarchs stamp and coordinating die set. She stamps her sentiment on the stitched circle using the Slimline Frames & Portholes die set. 

Claire Lamb creates a trio of distressed circles using the Circle Frames die set. She then adds two cacti from the Cuppa Cactus stamps and coordinating die set for her star attractions.  She adds some glittery gold stripes that look like sand glittering in the hot, Southwest sun!

Crystal Minkler was inspired to create this darling holiday card. She selects nutcracker paper from the Christmas Time paper pad that compliments her trio of mice from the retiring The Nutcracker Squeak stamp set.  So cute!  For her circles, Crystal uses the Frames Squared die set.

Love cats?  Then you'll love Danni Bindel's card filled with all things cats!  For her layers, Danni pulls a trio of papers from the A Cat's Life paper pad. She creates scallop-edging using the Frames & Flags die set. For her circle, Danni uses the circular die from the Frames Squared die set. In one of her circles, she stamps the fun sentiment from the Cat-itude stamp set. Those sweet orange striped kitties were created using dies from the Cat Silhouette die set.  I think the sentiment says it all!

Debbie Owens was inspired to use stockings from the Holiday Stockings stamp (die cut using Stylish Stockings dies) for her trio of sketch elements. She then proceeds to place them on a mantle filled with boughs of holly (Pines & Holly die set). She places her sentiment (Newton's Christmas Kittens stamp set) on a banner (Frames & Flags die set).
