Inky Paws Challenge #254 Week 2

We have more beachy colored projects to inspire you!

Pool Blue, Tangerine, Sunny Yellow, and White

You have until Friday, July 31, 2026 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project. 

Here's some inspiration.  

Bring the beach to your craft room with these bright & beachy colors! Send sunny smiles to a friend or create a cheerful birthday card. Any theme is welcome as long as the challenge colors are used

Claire Lamb creates a wonderful beach scene just right for our beachgoer from the Summer Moments stamp and coordinating die set. She uses the Framework die set to create the postage edging. The blue and white striped paper from the Stars & Stripes paper pack adds a nice watery feel to her beautiful card.

Looks like DanniBindel is ready for happy hour! She creates her design using the Card Layout 4 die with each panel using a color of the challenge. She places a delicious cocktail in each panel using the Cocktail Mixer stamp and coordinating die set. She uses the Circle Frames die set to create a circle for her sentiment. Is it time to partake?!

Debbie Owens is using the colors for a fun birthday card. She uses the Cloudy Sky  stencil to create her blue sky. And flying in those clouds are two critters in a balloon bouquet. Those little critters are from the Sky High Celebrations stamp set. To finish off her card, Deb using dies from the Basic Frames and the Bookmark die set along with a sentiment from the  Birthday Oval. Hope those guys hang on tightly!

Kelly Santi creates a bright tropical scene for this sweet feline from the Aloha Newton stamp and coordinating die set. To create this fabulous scene, Kelly uses the Retro Sun & Palms stencil set to create the skyline in the challenge colors. For her stitched panel, she uses a die from the Basic Frames die set. Love the brilliant colors!

Amy Tollner designs a bright and festive birthday card using the Postage Stamp Layout die for her layout design. She uses the  Bokeh Balloons stencil set to create a fun background just perfect with the little elements from the Birthday Postage Sampler stamp and coordinating die set. Just love the all the birthday goodies!

Inky Paws Challenge #242 Week 1

 

Welcome to July's Inky Paws Challenge!

This month we have some super fun colors to get creative!

Cotton Candy Pink, Orange Sherbet, Turquoise and Royal Blue

You have from Monday, July 7, 2025 to Friday, August 1, 2025 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project. 

Here's some inspiration.  

This month's fabulous colors can be used for any occasion.  Are you in need of birthday cards or beach cards?  Or stretch your creativity and use the colors for Halloween or Christmas cards!  There's so many possibilities. Let's see what the DT dreamed up:

Amy Tollner uses the colors to design this festive birthday card. She creates blue balloons using the Bokeh Balloons stencil set and gives it scallop edging using the Frames & Flags die set.  She then uses the Birthday Roundabout stamp and the Circle Frames die set for her focal element. At last she embosses her sentiment from the Birthday Essentials stamp set. The overall effect is birthday cuteness!

Claire Lamb creates a super cute beach scene using Newton from the Newton's Sand Dollar stamp set. She then die cuts her oval using the Oval Frames die set and creates a fun beach for her feline to enjoy!  Darling way to use the challenge colors!

Crystal Minkler was also inspired to create a birthday card with a coffee twist!  She begins by creating a colorful background using the Plaid stencil set. She then stamps the coffee image from the Heartfelt Coffee stamp set and cut using the scallop-edging die from the Heart Frames die set.  A super colorful coffee card!

Danni Bindel uses the darling image from the Newton's Birdhouse stamp set. (Don't you love how she colors her sweet kitty?)  Then uses the Oval Frames die set to create her oval layers.  She continues by using dies from the Frames & Flags die set with polka dotted papers from the Pastel Basics paper pad. Super sweet!

Debbie Owens was also inspired to create a birthday card. She chooses the duo from the Sky High Celebrations stamp set floating through a cloudy sky (Petite Clouds stencil). She cuts her cloudy sky with a stitched oval die the Oval Frames die set. For her four little panels, she pulls papers from the Birthday Party and the Love & Meows paper pads. At last she stamps her birthday sentiment  using a stamp from the Birthday Oval stamp set.  A super fun birthday card!

Inky Paws Challenge #236-Week 1

Inky Paws first 2025 Challenge!

For the month of January 

we have fabulous colors to play with!

You have four weeks to get creative with these colors and your NND Products!

Here's some inspiration.  

This color combination would make sweet, romantic projects, but don't limit yourself.  How about using these colors for a winter-themed card or a playful birthday card?  So many possibilities!  Let's see what our IPC DT came up with:

Crystal Minkler starts the new year with this love-filled card!  Her darling Siamese kitty is from the Newton's Heart stamp and coordinating die set. Crystal pairs coordinating pairs from the Love & Meows paper pad.  So cute!

Danni Bindel also has a darling Valentine's card filled with cuteness!  She uses the pair of kitties from the Newton’s Sweetheart stamp and coordinating die set. She places them on layered hearts using the Heart Frames die set.  She uses a trio of coordinating papers from the  Love & Meows paper pad for her layers. Danni uses the Frames & Flags die set to create her scallop-edging as well as the sentiment banner.  Love is definitely in the air!

Debbie Owens gives us a more futuristic Valentine's card with the addition of those sweet robots from theLove Bots stamp set. She adds the tiny speech bubbles from the newly released Valentine Postage stamp set. She adds an array of hearts using papers from the Natural Basics, Pastel Basics, and the Lovely Hearts paper pads and die cut using the Heart Frames die set. The overall effect is total cuteness!

Amy Tollner uses the challenge colors for this incredibly cute birthday card featuring the newly released Newton's Cookie Jar stamp and coordinating die set. Amy adds a little party hat taken from the Newton's Cupcake stamp and coordinating die set and adds the birthday sentiment from the Puppy's Cookie Jar stamp set.  For even more birthday cutenss, she created background balloons using the Bokeh Balloons stencil set which she die cuts using the A2 Card Layout die set to create those stitched panels.  Seriously, this is too cute!

Claire Lamb showcases two of the newly released products, and wow it looks amazing!  Those darling hearts where created using the Charming Hearts Frame. Claire then adds the sentiment using the Valentine Word Trio die set. What an amazing Valentine's card!

The Inky Paws team have some amazing cards to share with you using this fun, funky sketch!  

Crystal Minkler is looking towards the holiday season with this festive card featuring a snowman mug from the Cup of Cocoa stamp set set upon the stitched circle die from the Circle Frames die set. Crystal selects 3 fun papers from the Meowy Christmas paper pad to create the festive background!  

Danni Bindel is in Halloween mood using papers from the Halloween Time paper pad. She uses the spookily-cute spirits from the Ghostly Good Times stamp and coordinating die set. For added fun, Danni uses the zig-zag frame die from the Frames & Tags die set to create the edging as well as the stitched circle die from the Circle Frames die set for the sentiment. 

Debbie Owens  also uses the Halloween Time paper pad and the Ghostly Good Times stamp set, but creates a totally different look than her teammate Danni!  She pairs her little ghost with the haunted house from the Spooky Street stamp set atop a vellum panel using the Basic Frames die set. She adds a sentiment using the Spooky Sentiments Hot Foil Plates. How fun to mix and match NND products to produce fun cards!

Amy Tollner uses a birthday theme using the challenge sketch, and it's just precious!  She pulls her pastel papers from the Birthday Woofs paper pad and pairs them with the little puppy from the Puppy Playtime stamp and coordinating die set. His little hat is so cute!  Her sentiment is placed on a stitched circle using the Circle Frames. Cuteness overload!

Claire Lamb is showing off her amazing distressing skills with this monochromatic birthday card. To create this fab card, she uses the Bokeh Balloons stencil set with a sentiment from the Best Mom Oval stamp set a top stitched panels using the Basic Frames die set.  Always fun to see custom made backgrounds using stencils!

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Amy Tollner's card showcases a perfect blend for a birthday card! She uses the caffeine-lovin' feline from the Newton Loves Coffee stamp and coordinating die set with papers from the Coffee House Stories paper pad. She uses the A2 Card Layout die set to create her layout. Super cute!

Claire Lamb uses the trio of puppies from the Birthday Barks stamp set atop a beautifully distressed stripe. Look closely, you spy some birthday balloons on her stripe made using the Bokeh Balloons stencil set. Raise the roof, indeed!

Crystal Minkler has pulled a slew of NND products for this farm-filled birthday card!  On the front, Crystal uses papers from the Farmyard paper pad with several sets of die for her many layers:  Frames & Flags, Basic Frames die set, and Circle Frames. She adds the hard-working farmer from the Farmer Newton stamp and coordinating die set who has filled his pick-up truck from the Harvest Haul stamp and coordinating die set with his harvest produce.  If that wasn't enough cuteness, Crystal adds a trio of hens from the Cluck stamp and coordinating die set with a funny pun!  Super adorable!

Danni Bindel brings on some brightness with this brilliant birthday card!  She uses papers from the  Bright Basics paper pad with dies from the Frames & Flags die set and the Hexagon Frames dies for her different layers. Adding to the festivities is the trio of kitties from the Newton's Bright Birthday stamp and coordinating die set. The overall effect is bold and bright birthday wishes!

Debbie Owens uses soft colors for her birthday card. She adds the honey-comb heart from the Heartfelt Honey stamp set with a bit of distressing for her background.  She then adds the very brave kitty from the Beekeeper Newton stamp set with his honey bee keeper.  The punny sentiment is a perfect finishing touch!

Melissa creates a pretty pink balloon background using the Bokeh Balloons stencil set. She frames it with green confetti paper from the Birthday Party paper pad.  Her star attraction is also a puppy. This cutie is from the Paw-some Birthday stamp and die set.  Nothing could be better than lots of balloons and presents!

Claire's FAVE

InkyKat-Kathy creatively uses the Snowman Party stamp set with the challenge colors to create the cutest holiday card. The thick frames in the challenge colors look fabulous!  Also love how she makes this into an easel card.  Darling!

Debbie's FAVE

Meghan combines large, beautiful snowflakes with the caffeine-lovin' kitty from the Newton Loves Coffee stamp and die set.  Love the texture and bright colors of Meghan's CAS design!

Diane's FAVE

Andrea W. uses the challenge colors to create this captivating scene! Using the Hummingbird stamp and die set, Andrea stamps the several pink flowers for her hummingbird to enjoy while her gray snail creeps along at the bottom of her card.  Wonderfully done!  

Sue's FAVE

Papierelle showcases a very hungry Newton for her CAS card!  Yep, that is Newton from the Newton's Picnic stamp set (retired) diving into a beautiful gray and black picnic basket looking for the perfect snack.  Meanwhile, that trio of ants feasts on all the crumbs!  Darling card!
