Inky Paws Challenge #254 Week 2

You have until Friday, July 31, 2026 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project. 

Here's some inspiration.  

Bring the beach to your craft room with these bright & beachy colors! Send sunny smiles to a friend or create a cheerful birthday card. Any theme is welcome as long as the challenge colors are used

Claire Lamb creates a wonderful beach scene just right for our beachgoer from the Summer Moments stamp and coordinating die set. She uses the Framework die set to create the postage edging. The blue and white striped paper from the Stars & Stripes paper pack adds a nice watery feel to her beautiful card.

Looks like DanniBindel is ready for happy hour! She creates her design using the Card Layout 4 die with each panel using a color of the challenge. She places a delicious cocktail in each panel using the Cocktail Mixer stamp and coordinating die set. She uses the Circle Frames die set to create a circle for her sentiment. Is it time to partake?!

Debbie Owens is using the colors for a fun birthday card. She uses the Cloudy Sky  stencil to create her blue sky. And flying in those clouds are two critters in a balloon bouquet. Those little critters are from the Sky High Celebrations stamp set. To finish off her card, Deb using dies from the Basic Frames and the Bookmark die set along with a sentiment from the  Birthday Oval. Hope those guys hang on tightly!

Kelly Santi creates a bright tropical scene for this sweet feline from the Aloha Newton stamp and coordinating die set. To create this fabulous scene, Kelly uses the Retro Sun & Palms stencil set to create the skyline in the challenge colors. For her stitched panel, she uses a die from the Basic Frames die set. Love the brilliant colors!

Amy Tollner designs a bright and festive birthday card using the Postage Stamp Layout die for her layout design. She uses the  Bokeh Balloons stencil set to create a fun background just perfect with the little elements from the Birthday Postage Sampler stamp and coordinating die set. Just love the all the birthday goodies!

Inky Paws Challenge #243 Week 4

Here's some inspiration.  

This is our last week for the current sketch challenge which can be used for so many occasions.  The IPC design team have designed five different occasions to kick-start your creativity. Let's check them out:

Danni Bindel uses the Tropical Leaves stencil to create a beautiful texture to showcase her flowers from the Floral Delights stamp and coordinating die set. She uses the Card Layout 4 and the Basic Frames die sets to create her different pieces.  Making this into a thinking-of-you card is a wonderful way to send some love thought the mail!

Debbie Owens is back with another Halloween card featuring the Haunted House die as well as the Card Layout 4 die. She showcases papers from the Halloween Party paper pad as well as the yellow glitter paper from the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock. Those spooky critters are from the Trick or Treat Newton and the Trick or Treat Puppy stamp sets. This sketch is so fun to make quick, easy scenes for Halloween!

Think anniversary cards need to be made with neutral or metallic colros?  Think again!  Amy Tollner shows how bright colors work too! Amy uses the Card Layout 4 die with papers from the Birthday Woofs paper pad. She adds the celebrating couple from the Newton Celebrates stamp and coordinating die set and adds her sentiment on a tag created using the Frames & Tags die set.  Hope her parents had a wonderful day!

Claire Lamb uses the Card Layout 4 die to create a very CAS card featuring the feline from the Newton's Book Club stamp and coordinating die set. By splattering some paint on her Kraft cardstock, Claire adds just the right amount of texture!

Crystal Minkler whips up this festive birthday card using the Card Layout 4 die with the Birthday Party paper pad. She then creates some stitched circles (Circle Frames die set) and adds some birthday images from the Birthday Postage Sampler stamp and coordinating die set. Fun, festive, and easy to create!

Hope you enjoyed Newton's Nook Designs 12th Anniversary festivities. It looks like some of the IPC design team are still wanting to celebrate with all the new products!  Whereas, Claire and Amy showcase some must-have sets!  Let's check them out!

Debbie Owens whips up this cute birthday card using the Card Layout 4 Die with papers from the Birthday Time paper pad.  She adds one of the felines from the Cat Birthday Party stamp with extra balloons from the Birthday Postage Sampler stamp.  Her sentiment uses the Birthday Greetings Hot Foil Plate. Happy Birthday, indeed!

Amy Tollner uses the challenge colors to create some lovely succulents from the Succulent Garden and coordinating die set. She uses the Postage Stamp Layout die to arrange them wonderfully!  Fabulous way to showcase the IPC colors!

Claire Lamb goes with a CAS coffee design. Atop a lightly distressed background is our caffeine-lovin' Newton from the Newton's Mug Stamp and coordinating die set.  What could be better than one cup of java Joe?  How about 4 more mugs filled to the brim. Those darilng mugs of coffee are from the Coffee Delights stamp and coordinating die set. Great combination of sets!

Crystal Minkler is showcasing the newly released Card Layout 3 Die with papers from the Birthday Time paper pad.  She pulls one of the festive felines from theCat Birthday Party stamp and coordinating die set with some helium-filled balloons from the Birthday Postage Sampler stamp and coordinating die set. That big sentiment was made using the  Happy Birthday die set. Super fun!

Danni Bindel is showcasing some play puppies from the Dog Birthday Party stamp set. She is also featuring papers from the Birthday Time paper pad. She goes with a postage-edge using the Framework die set. The fun papers in this paper pad look good no matter how you die them!
