Inky Paws Challenge #211

Welcome to a new Inky Paws Challenge!

This is a theme challenge.

Use the challenge theme, Meowy Christmas, with your NND products.

Are you ready to get your paws inky with us and play along to win a prize? We will chose a RANDOM entry to win a $20 store credit to our Newton's Nook Design online shop! We will also highlight our favorites from each challenge the following Monday so all entries have a chance to be featured on this blog!

You have TWO WEEKS to play along - Deadline to enter is Friday, November 24, 2023 at Midnight CST. The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.

Feline frosty by Crystal features Newton's Snowman, Land Borders, and Christmas Time by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #wintercards, #catcards, #holidaycards, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge

Crystal Minkler creates this wintry scene featuring a trio of kitties from the Newton's Snowman stamp and coordinating die set. She adds some snowy hills using the Land Borders die set and a starry background using papers from the Christmas Time paper pad. Spectacular!

'Tis the season to be meowy by Danni features Newton's Gifts, Meowy Christmas, Circle Frames, and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #holidaycards, #catcards, #christmascards, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge

Danni Bindel combines paper filled with presents from the Meowy Christmas paper pad and adds the kitty from the Newton's Gift stamp and coordinating die set. Great combination! She uses the Circle Frames and the Frames & Flags die sets for her layers!

Debbie's card features Framework, Cat Christmas Tree, Frames & Flags, and Christmas Time by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #catcards, #christmascards

Debbie Owens adds a glittery red background (Frames & Flags die set) for this clowder of kitties. These little guys are from the newly released Cat Christmas Tree stamp set. Deb pulls the strings of light paper from the Christmas Time paper pad (Framework die set). So much cuteness!

Merry Christmas by Amy features Newton's Christmas Kittens, Starfield, and Frames Squared by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #catcards, #cardmaking, #christmascards, #cardchallenge, #holidaycards

Amy Tollner was also inspired to use lots of kitties in her square card (Frames Squared die set). This collection of kitties is from theNewton's Christmas Kittens stamp and coordinating die set. She places them on top a star-studded background using the Starfield stencil. Sweetness!

Claire Lamb was also inspired to use the Cat Christmas Tree stamp and coordinating die set. She creates her distressed background and includes the punny Christmas sentiment. The CAS style works wonderfully with this image! Loving it!

Claire Lamb features a sweet black kitty from the Newton's Naptime stamp set all snuggled up on a pile of cozy blankets shaded in the challenge colors! Her lightly distressed pink background adds nice dimension. She finishes with her sentiment stamped on a thought bubble using the Speech Bubbles die set. Super sweet!

Debbie Owens creates a background of pink, cotton candy clouds using the Clouds stencil for her trio of kittens from the Newton's Snowman stamp set. She colors her frisky felines' winter accessories in the challenge colors. She creates snowy hills using the Land Borders die set, and die cuts her layers using dies from the Frames & Flags die set. A bit of red & white twine and Nuvo Drops as final touches.

Diane Morales' card may have you hankering for some conversation hearts! She creates a tall, skinny card using the Slimline Frames & Portholes die set. She pulls the decorative square die from the Frames Squared die set and and die cuts a square in pink, white, and red. Using the Candy Heart stamp and die set, she adds a plethora of candy hearts as well as the main sentiment pulled from the Floral Roundabout stamp set. A very sweet Valentine's card!

Sue T. gives us a ray of spring with her flowery card. She uses the heart die from the Darling Hearts die set to cut a window on her card base and scalloped pattern paper. Peeking behind her heart is the Floral Roundabout stamp image wonderfully colored in the challenge colors. She stamps the sentiment on the round-edged banner die Banner Trio die set. Such a clean, crisp card with a splash of spring freshness!

Amy T.'s card will bring a squeal of delight with her trio of pigs from the Oink stamp and die set! Set upon a red glittery card base, Amy adds her pink heart background using the Bokeh Hearts stencil and die cut using the scallop-edged frame die from the Slimline Frames & Portholes die set. Using the same die set, she adds another glittery red layer. She decks her little pigs out in teal attire including a little flower from the Newton's Valentine stamp set. To pull more teal into her card, she uses the banner die from the

Slimline Frames & Windows die set and distresses it in teal and stamps the sentiment in teal. Such a sweet Valentine's card!

Diane Morales creates a mini slimline card measuring 3 3/4"x6 3/4" that showcases the

Holiday Post stamp and die set purr-fectly! She then adds circles using the Circle Frames die set which includes the sentiment and snowflakes. The striped, colorful paper coordinates wonderfully with Diane's coloring!

Sue T.'s card is oozing cuteness with her rainbow-colored paper and assortment of mice! The white scallop-edged frame was die cut using the Frames & Flags die set. Those sweet mice in their long caps are from the Naughty or Mice stamp and die set. She adds the Noel sentiment from the Sentiments of the Season stamp set on one of the sketch circles. The metallic bow is a perfect shiny touch!

Becky Noelle uses the ornament images from the Beautiful Baubles stamp and die set to represent the circles in the sketch! How creative! She die cuts pine branches in white using the Pines & Holly die set adding beautiful texture behind the ornaments. She adds a brick embossed panel in light pink. Her sentiment is from the Poinsettia Blooms stamp. Gorgeous!

In bright, brilliant colors, Crystal Komara creates a darling card featuring the Caroling Newton stamp and die set. Those kitties are just so sweet in their red and pink outerwear with the lime green papers in the background. She adds big circles and adds the sentiment from the Caroling Newton and the Sentiments of the Season stamp sets. The lime green twine ties it all up so nicely!

Debbie Owens brings a fun snowy scene. She uses the Snowfall stencil and paint to create a subtle snowy background. Her vertical stripe is a laminated pouch filled with glitter atop a dark blue foil which creates the illusion of falling snow. The backdrop is die cut using the postage-edged die from the Framework die set. She adds the trio of felines from the newly released Newton's Snowman stamp set. She adds a speech bubble for the sentiment die cut using the Speech Bubbles die set. She finishes up with some silver snowflakes and some gems. Darling!
