Inky Paws Challenge #215 Favorites

Claire's FAVE

Jenni Shamblin's card is so pretty and springy! She uses a combination of papers for her background which are just so pretty for her little mouse from the Garden Mice stamp set and coordinating die set to play!

Crystal's FAVE

Crafti Carri is back with another summer-themed card. This time she is showcasing the fabulous female feline from the retiring Newton's Perfect Wave stamp and die set. She is looking fetching in her pink bikini and floral surfboard! 

Danni's FAVE

Jennifer K. uses the IPC challenge colors for an underwater scene that is striking.  Enjoying those rays of sunshine through the waves are two manatees from the retired Manatee-rific stamp set. The added pink and blue shells and hearts are fabulous additons to this shimmery card!

Debbie's FAVE

Kimberly Van Diepen subtly uses the challenge colors to make a fabulous coffee-themed card.  Her pale pink flowers using the retired Bold Blooms stencil add nice texture for her duo of caffeinated cats from the Newton Loves Coffee and coordinating die set. 

Amy's FAVE

Dandi93 creates a baking sheet of cookies that is absolutely darling. She uses the retiring Hardwood stencil for her cookie sheet. She then cleverly uses teh Candy Heart stamp and coordinating die set to create conversational cookie hearts!

Claire Lamb uses the challenge colors to create a serene, wintry forest scene. Her trees and pink birds were created using the Forest Scene Builder die set. For her snowy hills, she uses the Land Borders die set. She finishes with a sentiment from the Scandi Christmas die set. A beautiful scene!




Crystal Minkler uses the Caffeinated Cats stamp set and spotlights a few of the kitties using the Circle Frames die set. Her panel was die cut using the Framework die set to create the postage edging. So pretty and creative!



Danni Bindel showcases papers from the Love & Woofs paper pad using the Heart Frames and the Frames & Flags die set to create the many layers. She then features the darling puppy from the Puppy Heart stamp set. All those fun patterns make for such a playful Valentine's card!



Debbie Owens also features a Valentine's card. For her background, she uses the Tumbling Hearts stencil. She makes a jar using the Jar Hot Foil Plate & Die and fills it with converstation hearts using the Candy Heart stamp set. She pulls a sentiment from the Love & Chocolate stamp set. A super sweet card!




Need a mid-day pick up? Amy Tollner's coffee-themed cards is packed full of caffeinated cuteness! She creates her scallop-edged panel (Frames & Flags die set) using the Mugs Stencil. She creates her scallop-edged heart using the Heart Frames die set and stamps the Heartfelt Coffee heart-shaped image. She colors all those mugs and cups using the challenge colors. Her sentiment is placed on a banner using the Banner Trio die set.

Claire Lamb creates the cutest Valentine's card using the Newton's Naptime stamp and die set. She creates a mile-high stack of blankets in shades of pinks and reds for her little princess kitty to sleep upon. She adds a red heart (Heart Frames die set) as well as the sentiment on a thought bubble (Speech Bubbles die set). Such a creative way to utilize this stamp set!

Debbie Owens showcases two darling robots from the Love Bots stamp set. She pairs them with designer papers from the Love & Meows paper pad. To create all her layers she uses several die sets. They include: Heart Frames die set, Framework die set, Frames & Flags die set, and the A7 Frames & Banners die set. A darling Valentine's card!

Diane Morales also uses the sweet robots from the Love Bots stamp and die set, but with a caffeinated twist. She adds a latte cup from the Pumpkin Latte stamp and die set for her boy bot to give to his girlfriend! She continues the coffee twist by pulling the sentiment from the Love Cafe stamp set. She uses two die sets. The Circle Frames die set is used for the card shape, and the Land Borders die set is utilized for the grass. Just love the coffee twist!

Amy Tollner is also inspired to use the Love Bots stamp and die set. She, though, pulls the kitty and dog bot images for her Valentine's card who are looking so cute on the red heart (Heart Frames die set). She creates a custom background by stamping the candy heart image (Candy Heart stamp set) repeatedly. She uses two additional die sets. For the postage-edging, she uses the Framework die set. For the little banner, she uses the A7 Frames & Banners die set. So cute!

Kristi H. creates two delightful Valentine's cards using the Candy Heart stamp and die set. Her choice of plaid papers in pastel colors work perfectly with the trio of conversation hearts. Such a sweet mix for Valentine's Day!

Debbie's FAVE

Irene features these fabulous flamingos from the Flirty Flamingos  (Retired) stamp set. Her hand drawn background with the heart on the horizon makes for a romantic backdrop for these love birds!  Fabulous idea!

Diane's FAVE

Amy's polka dotted backdrop works wonderfully for Newton (Newton's Birthday Balloons stamp set) as he floats up into the sky.  A simply, adorable card!

Sue's FAVE

Macimbalo showcases some snow-lovin' critters on a cold, wintry day. These critters come form the Snow Angel Newton and Snow Angel Puppy stamp sets. Her coloring is amazing and the wavy border adds a wonderful touch!  So, so cute!

Amy's FAVE

Amy S. takes us to the wild west with this fabulous card. She showcases Newton in his ten-gallon hat from the Newton Rides West (Retired) stamp set. She stamps western images on her brown, leathery layer and adds some jute for a rugged look.  So, darn cute!

 Claire Lamb features a sweet black kitty from the Newton's Naptime stamp set all snuggled up on a pile of cozy blankets shaded in the challenge colors!  Her lightly distressed pink background adds nice dimension.  She finishes with her sentiment stamped on a thought bubble using the Speech Bubbles die set.  Super sweet!

 Debbie Owens creates a background of pink, cotton candy clouds using the Clouds stencil for her trio of kittens from the Newton's Snowman stamp set.  She colors her frisky felines' winter accessories in the challenge colors. She creates snowy hills using the Land Borders die set, and die cuts her layers using dies from the Frames & Flags die set. A bit of red & white twine and Nuvo Drops as final touches.

Diane Morales' card may have you hankering for some conversation hearts! She creates a tall, skinny card using the Slimline Frames & Portholes die set.  She pulls the decorative square die from the Frames Squared die set and and die cuts a square in pink, white, and red. Using the Candy Heart stamp and die set, she adds a plethora of candy hearts as well as the main sentiment pulled from the Floral Roundabout stamp set.  A very sweet Valentine's card!

Sue T. gives us a ray of spring with her flowery card.  She uses the heart die from the Darling Hearts die set to cut a window on her card base and scalloped pattern paper.  Peeking behind her heart is the Floral Roundabout stamp image wonderfully colored in the challenge colors. She stamps the sentiment on the round-edged banner die Banner Trio die set. Such a clean, crisp card with a splash of spring freshness!

Amy T.'s card will bring a squeal of delight with her trio of pigs from the Oink stamp and die set! Set upon a red glittery card base, Amy adds her pink heart background using the Bokeh Hearts stencil and die cut using the scallop-edged frame die from the Slimline Frames & Portholes die set. Using the same die set, she adds another glittery red layer. She decks her little pigs out in teal attire including a little flower from the Newton's Valentine stamp set. To pull more teal into her card, she uses the banner die from the 

Slimline Frames & Windows die set and distresses it in teal and stamps the sentiment in teal.  Such a sweet Valentine's card!

Inky Paws Challenge #115 Reminder

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration 
for our current challenge! 

Here'a a refresher.

Theme Challenge--Add Hearts!

Create a project using hearts. 

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge:

Love puppies?  Then Crystal Komera's ador-bull card is going to thrill you!  With a black and white checkered paper on a dark red card base, she adds four red hearts stamped with paw prints. Using all the puppies from the Fabulous Frenchies stamp and die set, Crystal colors the accessories in reds, whites, and blacks. She adds a pink heart on one balloon as well as makes a bouquet of balloons. She stamps the sentiment on a little banner.  So, so sweet!

Debbie Owens creates a Valentine's tag in white, black and pink.  Using the Fancy Edges Tag die set, she cuts a pink tag and a black tag with a scallop edge.  She adds a heart cut using the Darling Hearts die set on which she adds the love sentiment and a couple of tiny hearts. She colors the pair of kitties in grays from the Newton's Sweetheart stamp and fussy cuts.  She adds silver twine behind them before adhering with dimensional tape.  Sweetness!

3...2...1...Blast off into a heart-filled outer space!  Diane Morales creatively stretches the Cosmic Newton stamp and die set by having her feline astronaut traveling through some fluffy clouds using the Sky Borders die set into the final frontier filled with hearts using the Darling Hearts die set!  A fun masculine Valentine's card!

Pretty in pink is Sue T.'s card that is purr-fect for Valentine's Day. She creates her pink ombre' hearts using the Tumbling Hearts stencil and creates the postage-edged base with the Framework die set. The cute, cuddly cats from the Newton's Sweetheart stamp and die set, are positioned through a die cut circle with a dark pink in the background. Look closely at those heart tags on their collars! {sigh}

 If you enjoy lots of masking and inking, then Becky Noelle's card will win your heart! Using the Tumbling Hearts stencil, she painstakingly masked & inked each heart on a pale gray background. She then adds a heart from the Candy Heart stamp set and adds the sentiment in red. She stitches the gray panel onto a white card base. Don't you love how this looks like a box of conversation hearts?
