Inky Paws Challenge #254 Week 3

 

Happy July!

We have beachy colors to inspire you this month!

Pool Blue, Tangerine, Sunny Yellow, and White

You have until Friday, July 31, 2026 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project.

Bring the beach to your craft room with these bright & beachy colors! Send sunny smiles to a friend or create a cheerful birthday card. Any theme is welcome as long as the challenge colors are used

Debbie Owens creates a fun, sunny day card featuring papers from the Bright Basics and the Summertime paper pads. She uses the A2 Card Layout for her design. She stamps a sentiment from the Floral Delights stamp set for sentiment and adds a sun and cloud using the Sky Scene Builder die set. A fun way to use the challenge colors!

Newton from the Naughty Newton stamps and coordinating die set might have partied a bit too much on Kelly Santi's card!  She uses dies from the Circle Frames die set and the Basic Frames die set to create her many layers using a delightful mix of papers pulled from the Springtime, he Happy Easter, and the Coffee Shop paper pads. Such a fun card!

Amy just couldn't resist Meghan K.'s card with two of her favorites--books and a dog! Meghan's card is just so cute with the puppy from the All Booked Up stamp set. Amy also used the Framework die set to create her edging. Look closely at the spines of her larger books! So clever!

Claire really liked how Holly Gerdes used the red gingham paper from the Farmyard paper pad with the bells from the Bells & Holly stamp and coordinating die set. The combination is very creative and makes for a wonderful holiday card!

Inky Paws Challege #245--Color Challenge

 

It's October and We have a new challenge! 

You have four weeks to get creative with your NND products using these festive colors!
Holiday Red, Pop of Pink, Evergreen,
and Arctic Blue

You have from Monday, October 6, 2025 to Friday, October 31, 2025 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project.

Danni Bindel combines paper from the Meowy Christmas paper pad with the Framework die set to create lots of holiday layers!  The star of her card is the sweet feline from the Newton's Gift stamp and coordinating die set popping out of a pink gift box! Super cute!

Debbie Owens takes a detour from the upcoming holidays and uses the colors for a splash of spring delight! Her vintage truck is from the Spring Haul stamp set which she frames using the Filigree Oval Frame die set. A super fun card if you aren't quite ready for Christmas card production!

Claire adds an extra package from the Holiday Postage Sampler stamp and coordinating die set. Hope those sweet fur babies are having visions of sugar plums!

Danni Bindel showcases the challenge colors by using a combination of papers from the Pastel Basics paper pad. She uses several dies to create all those lovely layers: Framework and Basic Frames die sets. She adds a sprig of daisies from the Floral Delights stamp and coordinating die set and an inspiring sentiment to finish her lovely card.



Debbie features Flip-Flop Life by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #summercards, #flipflops
Debbie Owens is ready to head to the beach in flip-flops. Deb uses the Flip-Flop Life stamp set to create her background. She then paints the center panel and uses the octagonal die from the Basic Frames die set. A fun summery card!


Amy's birthday card features Birthday Oval, Bright Basics, Frames & Flags, Oval Frames, and Birthday Mice by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #birthdaycards, #micecards, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge
Amy Tollner was inspired to create a darling birthday card using the IPC colors. She pulls polka dotted paper from the Brights Basic paper pad. She die cuts it using the scallop-edged frame from the Frames & Flags die set. She then adds an oval scalloped layer using the Oval Frames die set. Amy wonderfully features the Birthday Oval stamp set with the little mouse from the Birthday Mice stamp and coordinatingdie set flying above. Such cute birthday wishes!


Claire's coffee card features Frames & Tags, A7 Frames & Banners, Heart Frames, Heartfelt Coffee, and Basic Frames by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #cardmaking, #newtonsnook, #cardchallenge, #coffeelovers, #coffeecards
Claire Lamb goes with a coffee-themed card brimming with caffeinated goodness. She creates a zig-zab panel using the Frames & Tags die set and places a Kraft stitched panel (Basic Frames die set) stamped with lots of coffee mugs using the Heartfelt Coffee stamp set. She cuts a heart shape out of the panel using the Heart Frames die set, and then a white heart behind with all those colored coffee mugs that aligned perfectly with the top panel. She adds a thin banner (A7 Frames & Banners die set for the banner) with the sentiment! A perk-fully brewed card!

Crystal Minkler creates this tranquil scene featuring the vintage truck from the Spring Haul stamp and coordinating die set. She uses the scallop-edged die to create her panel (Frames & Flags die set), and the Hills & Grass stencil to create her hill landscape. She finds a wonderful sentiment from the Dainty Daisies stamp set for sentiment. Such a beautiful way to send a special message!

Danielle's card may have you jumping into a nearby pool or ocean! She combines papers from the Summertime paper pad. Such a fun summery mix. Then she adds a duo of water-bound puppies from the Beach Barks stamp and coordinating die set. A sprinkling of seashells finishes off her darling scene!

Becca uses the Hibiscus die set to create her beautiful floral element. She places on a mixed media backgroun with embossed black panels that make the floral arrangement just pop!  She embosses the sentiment from the Little Lilies stamp set and adds a bit of orange and white twine.  A very eye-catching card!
