Inky Paws Challenge #243 Favorites

Danni's FAVE

Sabra's unique take on the sketch as a circle caught Danni's eye. Sabra used a trio of fun papers from the Halloween Meows paper pad and adds a darling monster from the retired Franken-Newton stamp and coordinating die set. Such a creative card!

Debbie's FAVE

Maria Giselle B.'s addition of sequins and rick-rack trim caught Debbie's eye! Maria uses the retired Purr-maid Newton stamp set not only to showcase the sweet purr-maid, but also to create those embossed seahorses. She adds a sentiment from the Birthday Roundabout stamp set to finish her shiny and creative card!

Amy's FAVE

Marcia wonderful coloring of the puppy and kittens caught Amy's eye! Marcia uses some fun critter paper with the sweet image from the Sky High Celebrations stamp and coordinating die set. The red, white, black color scheme is also very striking!

Claire's FAVE

Eve G. uses some fabulous papers from the Seaside paper pad for her ocean-themed card! She then adds her sweet kitty from the Newton's Sand Dollar stamp set. Such an adorable card that won over Claire's heart!

Crystal's FAVE

Amy Mattingly no-coloring panel and Christmas theme won over Crystal's heart! Amy uses the Card Layout 3 die with papers from the Meowy Christmas paper pad. Amy then creates a no-colored panel using the Cup of Cocoa stamp set. The bright colors and black accents makes for a wonderful holiday card!

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Danni Bindel selects complimentary papers from the Autumn paper pad to coordinate with the mug of hot spiced cider from the Autumn Apples stamp and the coordinating die set. She continues by using the postage-edge frame from the Framework die set on a mustard-colored card stock.  She stamps her sentiment on a stitched oval using the Oval Frames die set.  The combination of colors and patterns is a perfect mix to celebrate autumn!

Debbie Owens is sharing two cards using the same papers with two very different themes.  She is using the purple striped paper from the Halloween Meows paper pad and the green hounds tooth paper from the Canine Christmas paper pads. After cutting her diagonal strips, she uses half of them on her Halloween card which features the feline monster from the Franken-Newton stamp set. She uses a combination of dies from the Frames & Flags die set and the Framework die set. Now take a peek of how she uses the other half of those diagonal strips.

Her second card has a more autumn feel with the lavender mum from the Chrysanthemum stamp set. She  uses the Framework die set, and a sentiment from the Fall Roundabout stamp set.  What a great way to use up those strips of paper for two uniquely different cards!

Amy Tollner picks a trio of papers from the Halloween Meows  paper pad and the Halloween Woofs paper pad that gives her card a very scary vibe. She then white embosses some spooky eyes and sentiment from the Spooky Street stamp set on a black oval (Oval Frames die set).  Don't you just love all those scary eyes looking at you? Love it!

Claire Lamb uses the challenge sketch for a more soothing card with her diagonal stripes mimicking the colors of a rain shower. Enjoying his time in the rain is our darling dachsund from the Rainy Days Doxie stamp and coordinating die set. She pulls her sentiment from the Spring Blooms Oval stamp set. A wonderful card for friends in the Pacific Northwest!

Crystal Minkler delights us with another Halloween card. Crystal selects papers from the Halloween Meows paper pad with her sentiment stamped on ovals created using the Oval Frames. She continues the fun by adding the little feline in her boot from the Witchy Newton stamp and coordinating stamp set for the inside of her card. She creates a fun sentiment using stamps from the Spiderweb Oval and the Spring Blooms Oval stamp set.

Danni Bindel pulls lots of birthday papers from the Birthday Party paper pad making a very festive background for her birthday sentiment from the Birthday Essentials stamp set. To create her fun card, she uses the Oval Frames die set and the Frames & Flags die set.

Debbie Owens uses the Ghosts stencil in different colors to create her stripes.  She places it on purple striped paper from the Halloween Woofs paper pad.  She adds the little monster from the Franken-Newton stamp set placed atop a black scalloped circle (Circle Frames die set). She adds a little black bat from the Count Newton stamp set.  Deb also uses the Frames & Flags die set and the Framework die set.  The overall effect is a darling Halloween card!

Amy Tollner makes the cutest pumpkin-spice card using the little kitty from the Newton Makes Plans stamp and coordinating die set.  She sets him on a little oval (Oval Frames die set) with a sentiment from the Pumpkin Latte stamp set. For her stripes, she uses a combination of papers from the Autumn Paper pad. She adds a little leaf from the Fall-ing for You stamp set. What a great way to celebrate pumpkin-spice season!

Claire Lamb uses the little snowflakes from the Winter Birds stamp set to create a wintry scene on stripes of purple. {sigh}. She adds her sentiment on an oval (Oval Frames die set). Such an elegant way to send winter wishes!

Crystal Minkler was also inspired to create a coffee-themed card.  She pulls papers from the Coffee House Stories paper pad and pairs them with the little lady from the Sips & Stories stamp set. Crystal uses the Oval Frames die set and a sentiment from the All Booked Up stamp set.  The overall effect is a cozy scene just purr-fect for coffee and a book!

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Amy Tollner uses these delightful cheeseburgers from the Buns Out stamp and coordinating die set and places them on the picnic table (retiring Hardwood stencil) complete with a red gingham table cloth (Gingham stencil). She adds her punny sentiment on a stitched circle using the Slimline Frames & Portholes die set. A fabulous way to use the challenge sketch!

Eeek! Claire Lamb creates this delightful green & black Halloween card using images from the Franken-Newton stamps and coordinating die set. She adds the perfect sentiment on a scallop-edged heart using the Heart Frames die set. The polka-dotted paper is from A Dog's Life paper pad. Don't you love the added little heart with the stitches! So cute!

For even more Halloween fun, Crystal Minkler's card is filled with pumpkin cuteness! She uses the pumpkin paper from the Halloween Meows paper pad and combines it with the green & yellow striped paper. That cute little feline in her witches hat is from the Newton's Perfect Pumpkin stamp set as are the little Jack-o-lanterns. For her die cut elements, Crystal uses the Frames & Flags and the Circle Frames die set. Happy Meow-oween, indeed!

Danni Bindel is back with more feline fun. She pulls coordinating papers from A Cat's Life paper pad and adds two sweet orange tabbies from the Newton's Antics stamp and the coordinating die set. She adds the sentiment on a stitched circle using the Frames Squared die set. For her postage-edging, she uses the Framework die set. A purr-fect way to wish someone a happy day!

Debbie Owens designs a striking card using the Quatrefoil stencil. She adds colorful succulents (Succulent Garden stamp set) upon a black background for a dramatic touch. She adds her sentiment on a banner using the Frames & Flags die set. A bold, beautiful card!

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Claire Lamb's sandy background created using inks and the Land Borders die set will have you yearning for a road trip of your own!  She uses two of the beach-bound vehicles from the Beach Bound stamp and coordinating die set.  A fabulous and creative way to use the current IPC sketch!

Crystal O. Minkler uses papers from the Spring Blooms paper pad for her background.  Riding through those beautiful daisies is one of the ladies from the Loads of Blooms stamp and coordinating die set. She places the little lady on a vellum, scallop-edged circle (Circle Frames die set). Don't you love how she adds the clouds and sun to her spring scene using the Sky Scene Builder die set?  

Debbie Owens takes a break from spring and starts on her Halloween cards!  For her spookily cute card, she uses two of the images from the Franken-Newton stamp set.  She pulls additional scary elements

 from the Count Newton stamp set (Jack-o-lantern bucket, big tombstone), the Spiderweb Oval stamp set (spider), and the Spooky Street stamp set (haunted house and little tombstone).  She places all the elements on papers from the Halloween Meows paper pad and adds a sentiment from the Spooky Roundabout stamp set.  Spook-tacularly cute!

Diane Morales creates a mini slimline card measuring 3 1/2" x 6 1/4", and it's packed with spring cuteness! She uses papers from the Spring Blooms paper pad which pair wonderfully with the lambs from the Baa stamp and coordinating die set.  Behind those lambs is a little grass to nibble on which was created using the Land Borders die set.  Not sure how or where to add your sentiment?  Use Diane's idea of a speech bubble which was created using the Speech Bubbles die set.  A super fun, spring card!

Amy Tollner goes with a birthday theme featuring two of our darling cats from the Newton Loves Tacos stamp and coordinating die set!  Aren't they just too cute?  She pulls papers from the Birthday Party paper pad giving her card a fun, fabulous, fiesta vibe!

Amy Tollner pairs Franken-Newton and his bride from the Franken-Newton stamp and die set with papers from the Love & Meows paper pad. What a wonderful marriage of products!  To finish her card, Amy uses dies from the Heart Frames and the Frames & Flags die sets.  So much cuteness!

Claire Lamb is bringing us some brightly colored blooms using the Flower Trio die set.  She embosses sentiments from the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set onto purple banners that were die cut using the Banner Trio die set. These bright colors are sure to brighten up anyone's day!

Debbie Owens changes the orientation of the sketch for her caffeinated card.  She sparingly colors the image from the Caffeinated Cats stamp set and adds banners in shades of brown. On her heart element, she stamps the sentiment and coffee-themed accents using images from the Time for Coffee stamp set. Who could resist this cat & coffee card?

Like teammate Amy, Diane Morales is inspired to use the Franken-Newton stamp and die set for this frighteningly adorable card! Diane also uses the Love & Meows paper pad along with the blue-striped paper from the Meowy Christmas paper pad.  The scallop-edged heart was created using the Heart Frames die set.  Adorable!
