Inky Paws Challenge #245 Week 2

The October Challenge Continues!

You have several more weeks to get creative with your NND products using these festive colors!

You have until Friday, October 31, 2025 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop! Debbie's birthday card features Confetti, Pastel Basics, Sky High Celebrations, and Dog Birthday Party by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #birthdaycards, #catcards, #dogcards, #puppycards

Debbie Owens creates a fun birthday card using the Confetti stencil with papers from the Pastel Basics paper pad. She colors all those packages from the Sky High Celebrations stamp set in the colors of the challenge. At last, she adds the birthday sentiment from the Dog Birthday Party stamp set. A super cute way to celebrate one's special day!

Amy's holiday card features Bells & Holly, Meowy Christmas, and A2 Card Layout 2 by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #holidaycards, #christmascards

Amy Tollner creates this stunning Christmas card using the A2 Card Layout 2 die with papers from the Meowy Christmas paper pad. She uses the images from the Bells & Holly stamp and coordinating die set and colors them in the challenge colors. The overall effect is holiday magic!

Claire Lamb creates this amazing card using no stamps! Using her amazing distressing skills, she inks the trees from the Evergreens Frame die and places them on a stunning pink and red backdrop. For her sentiment, she adds the hello from the Filigree Oval Frame die set. Such a beautiful card!

Danni's coffee card features Mugs, Frames & Flags, A Hug in a Mug, and Circle Frames by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #coffeelovers, #coffeecards

Danni Bindel was also inspired to make a card using no stamps. For her card, Danni uses the Mugs stencil to create a background of coffee cups in the challenge colors She then adds the scallop edging using a die from the Frames & Flags die set. She creates a stitched circle using the Circle Frames die set to place her large sentiment from the A Hug in a Mug die. Fabulous way to send some coffee fun!

She creates her oval base using the Oval Frames die set and pulls the pink polka dotted papers from the Birthday Meows paper pad. She then stamps and colors the image from the Birthday Oval stamp set. She adds our favorite feline, Newton, from the Newton Loves Cake stamp set and finishes up with a sentiment pulled from the Newton's Cupcake stamp set. Fabulously festive!

Look closely and you'll see subtle mugs of coffee created using the Mugs stencil. She uses images from the Never Enough Books stamp and coordinating die set and places them on the different shelves. Crystal Minkler has a feline-filled Valentine's Day card that features this lovely feline duo. These sweet felines are from the Newton's Sweetheart stamp and coordinating die set. She pulls several papers from the Love & Meows paper pad to create her teal and red layers. She uses the Frames & Flags and the Heart Frames die sets to create her banner and heart. A darling way to send "love" messages!

Danni Bindel takes to us out to the country with this darling farm card! She pulls a wonderful combination of papers from the Farmyard paper pad. She uses the Banner Trio and the Frames & Tags die sets to create the zig-zag edging and banner. Our darling feline farmer from the Farmer Newton stamp and coordinating die set is sporting cute denim bib overalls as he poses in front of his barn (Barn die). Cuteness overload!

The start attraction is the little book-lovin' kitty from the Newton's Reading List stamp set. Coffee and a good book--a fab combination to "feline" fine!

Amy Tollner creates a bright bold Valentine's card with purple, pinks, and reds! She finds a romantic combination of papers from the Love and Meows and the Lovely Hearts paper pads. (Don't you love how the different pads can be mixed and matched? 😏) She then adds another feline couple from the Newton's Sweetheart stamp and coordinating die set. They are looking so cute with the glittery, red banner shimmering behind them! This banner was made using the banner die from the Frames and Flags. So sweet!

Claire Lamb was also feeling the love with her Valentine's card. She goes with a Kraft card base paired with gray and red papers from the Neutral Basics and the Bright Basics paper pads. (Love this color combo!😻) She then adds a single postage stamp using the Postage Stamp Layout die and the envelope image from the Valentine Postage Sampler stamp set. Simply amazing!

So cute!

Crystal Minkler was inspired to create a feline-themed card. She pulls papers from the A Cat's Life Paper Pad that coordinated wonderfully together! whe then uses dies from the Circle Frames die set to create her stitched circles. Her star attraction is the very studious feline from the Newton's Reading List stamp and coordinating die set. She pulls the purr-fect sentiment from the Never Enough Books stamp set. A darling way to celebrate the joy of reading!

Danni Bindel's puppy duo is ready to hit the beach. These beach-bound puppies are from the Beach Barks stamp and coordinating die set. Behind those puppies are fun, bright coordinating papers from the Summertime paper pad. She uses the scallop-edged frame die from the Frames & Flags die set for her base panel. For her circular elements, she uses the Circle Frames die set. The overall effect is a seriously cute summer-themed card!

Debbie Owens is welcoming the summer sun! Her bright card features papers from two paper pads: Summertime and Bright Basics. She die cuts the papers using the stitched frame from the Basic Frames die set. She adds a scalloped vellum circle using the Circle Frames die set. She adds clouds and a sun using the Sky Scene Builder die set. Guess who is enjoying all those rays of sun? Our very own Newotn from the newly released Newton's Happy Meow! stamp set. Cheers!

The fun sentiment is from the Never Enough Books stamp set and the circles were cut using dies from the Circle Frames die set. The overall effect is a seriously amazing card!

Claire Lamb uses the challenge colors to create a serene, wintry forest scene. Her trees and pink birds were created using the Forest Scene Builder die set. For her snowy hills, she uses the Land Borders die set. She finishes with a sentiment from the Scandi Christmas die set. A beautiful scene!

Crystal Minkler uses the Caffeinated Cats stamp set and spotlights a few of the kitties using the Circle Frames die set. Her panel was die cut using the Framework die set to create the postage edging. So pretty and creative!

Danni Bindel showcases papers from the Love & Woofs paper pad using the Heart Frames and the Frames & Flags die set to create the many layers. She then features the darling puppy from the Puppy Heart stamp set. All those fun patterns make for such a playful Valentine's card!

Debbie Owens also features a Valentine's card. For her background, she uses the Tumbling Hearts stencil. She makes a jar using the Jar Hot Foil Plate & Die and fills it with converstation hearts using the Candy Heart stamp set. She pulls a sentiment from the Love & Chocolate stamp set. A super sweet card!

Need a mid-day pick up? Amy Tollner's coffee-themed cards is packed full of caffeinated cuteness! She creates her scallop-edged panel (Frames & Flags die set) using the Mugs Stencil. She creates her scallop-edged heart using the Heart Frames die set and stamps the Heartfelt Coffee heart-shaped image. She colors all those mugs and cups using the challenge colors. Her sentiment is placed on a banner using the Banner Trio die set.
