You have until Friday, August 28, 2026 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop! The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday. Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project.

Here's some inspiration: This sketch features a fun angled layout! Try using this sketch with our Card Layout 7 Die or cut the angles with a scissor or trimmer. Put a different image in each section or keep it simple with patterned papers and sentiments. All themes are welcome as long as the sketch is used.

Inky Paws Challenge #252 Week 4

Get creative with this fun sketch. Use the center square to hold your favorite image or sentiment. Try using multiple colors or patterned papers for the layers behind it. Debbie Owens couldn't decide whether to make a feline or a canine card, so she made one of each. For her feline birthday card, she uses the music-lovin' Newton from the Newton's Mix Tape stamp set. She adds more musical touches using the Music Notes stencil to create her backdrop. She creates a banner using the yellow-striped paper from the Pastel Basics paper pad. Her finishing touches include a margarita from the Cocktail Mixer stamp set and a birthday hat from the Newton's Bright Birthday stamp.

She uses the yellow-striped paper from the Pastel Basics paper pad as well as papers from the New Retro paper pack. That pink shimmery panel uses a Retro Mix Toner Front. Her banner uses a die from the Banner Trio die set. Two wonderful birthday cards for someone 21 years or older!

Don't you just love how you can mix and match different stamp sets for a wonderfully unique card? She uses papers from the Bright Basics and the Springtime paper pads. She uses dies from the Essential Tags, the Basic Frames, and the Sea Borders die sets. A bright and beautiful card filled with such lovely tulips!
