Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 


Amy's hello card features Monarchs, Springtime, Spring Blooms, and A7 Frames & Banners by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #butterflycard, #hellocards, #springcards, #cardchallenge, #cardmaking

Amy Tollner showcases these lovely Monarch butterflies from the Monarchs and coordinating die set. She layers papers from the Springtime and the Spring Blooms paper pads. She stamps her sentiment on a little banner using a die from the A7 Frames and Banners die set. Beautiful!

Claire's Halloween card features Halloween Pile and Frames Squared by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #halloweencards, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #puppycard, #catcard
Claire Lamb showcases the retiring Halloween image from the Halloween Pile stamp and coordinating die set. She creates an amazing distressed nighttime sky! She stamps her sentiment on the fancy square using a die from the Frames Squared die set. So cute!


Crystal's birthday card features Fabulous Fungus, Circle Frames, and Birthday Party; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #birthdaycards, #mushroomcards, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge
Crystal Minkler uses the sketch to make this fabulous birthday card featuring the Fabulous Fungus stamp set. She uses the Circle Frames die set to create her circular elements. Papers from the Birthday Party paper pad add lots of birthday fun!

Danni's spring card features Loads of Blooms and Springtime by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #springcards, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge
Danni Bindel uses papers from the Springtime paper pad that look amazingly with the tulip-laden lady from the Loads Of Blooms stamp set and coordinating die set. Bring on the tulips!

Debbie's Halloween card features Halloween Woofs, Count Newton, Framework, Labels, Spiderweb, and Halloween Apothecary by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonnook, #halloweencards, #catcards, #cardmaking, #cardmaking
Debbie Owens was also inspired to create a Halloween sketch using the sketch. She uses papers from the Halloween Woofs paper pad and uses the postage-edged die from the Framework die set. She adds some silver spider webs using the Spiderweb Hot Foil Plates & Dies.  She adds her sentiment using the Halloween Apothecary stamp set on a label using the Labels Hot Foil Plates and Dies. The star attraction is the feline from the Count Newton stamp set. Hauntingly cute!

Inky Paws Challenge #158 Reminer

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 

Candy corn is a vegetable, right? by Sue features Candy Corn (stamp and stencil) and Speech Bubbles by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #halloweencards, #cardmaking
Sue T. creates a card filled with candy corn fun!  Set atop a Kraft card base, Sue adds a big speech bubble using the Speech Bubble die set.  She uses the Candy Corn stencil set to fill her speech bubble with candy corn in orange, teal and brown!  She adds little faces on some of the corn using the smiley face stamp from the Candy Corn stamp set. She stamps the fun sentiment, also from the Candy Corn stamp set, in the corner.  A colorful, playful card!



Happy Haunting by Amy features Banner Trio, Frames & Flags, Spooky Street, Witchy Newton, Spiderweb,  and Spooky Roundabout by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #halloweencards, #cardmaking, #catcards
Amy Tollner creates a shimmery and colorful web using the Spiderweb stencil complete with two scary spiders from the Spooky Street stamp set!  Yikes! She uses the scallop-edged die from the Frames & Flags die set for a nice finished look. She then adds a teal banner die cut using one of the dies from Banner Trio die set and stamps the sentiment pulled from the Spooky Roundabout stamps. And caught in that pretty web is her sweet feline from the \Witchy Newton stamp set and die set.  Oh so pretty!

Claire Lamb creates a lovely CAS autumn card starting with her partial teal distressed backdrop.  she adds then adds her beautifully colored image from the Signs of Fall stamp and cut using the coordinating die set. She grounds her image by adding a white banner die cut using the Banner Trio die set.  Her falling leaves are the perfect touch for this spectacular card!



Be Thankful by Debbie features Neigh, Autumn Mice, Pumpkin Latte, Clouds, Frames & Flags, and Land Borders by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #autumncards, #fallcards, #cardmaking, #coffeecards
 Debbie Owens is back with a pretty horse from the Neigh stamp set. This time she adds the pumpkin-laden lady from the Pumpkin Latte stamp set. She uses the Clouds stencil to create her pretty sunset and the Land Border die set for her Kraft hill.  She adds the sentiment and extra leaves using elements from the Autumn Mice stamp set.  Her pretty scene has been die cut using the scallop-edged die from the Frames & Flags die set.  A delightful way to spend an autumn day!



Happy Halloween by Diane features Cascading Stars, Circle Frames, Banner Trio, Spooky Roundabout, Newton's Costume Party, Witchy Newton, and Knight Owl by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #halloweencards, #catcards, #cardmaking
Diane Morales uses the Circle Frames die set to create a circle card filled with all kinds of Halloween cuteness!  She uses the Cascading Star stencil for her starry backdrop, and then adds critters from the following sets: Newton's Costume Party stamp set and die set, Witchy Newton stamp set and die set, and 
 the Knight Owl stamp set and die set.  Don't you just love how you can mix and match Newton's Nook Designs images?  She finishes her card by embossing a sentiment from the Spooky Roundabout stamps on a banner die cut using the Banner Trio die set.  So cute!

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge! 
You say Witch like it's a bad thing by Diane features Frames & Flags, Serene Stripes, and Brooms & Boos by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #halloweencards
Diane Morales uses a teal palette to design a darling Halloween card. She uses the Frames & Flags die set to create her card base. Then she uses the Serene Stripes stencil to partially distress a pretty teal ground for her sweet witch.  She pulls the witch with her broom from the Brooms & Boos stamp and coordinating die set and adds the sentiment and a couple of spooky bats!  Eerily cute!  



Cheers Witches by Sue features Spider Web, Spooky Roundabout, and Brooms and Boos by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #halloweencards, #cardmaking
Sue T. begins by using the Spiderweb stencil on a black card base. She then uses the  Spooky Roundabout stamp set. She embosses it in white on a black circular die cut using the Circle Frames die set. The black on black adds a spooky setting for the martini-totin' witch from the Brooms and Boos stamp and die set.  Don't you love how the skull is offering up the toast on a speech bubble using the Speech Bubbles die set?  



Witch Tags by Amy features Brooms & Boos and Fancy Edges by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #tagmaking, #halloweencards
Amy Tollner uses all three witch images from the Brooms and Boos stamp and coordinating die set.  She uses the Fancy Edges die set to cut a trio of tags on which she distresses and paint splatters her backgrounds.  She uses the zig-zag die from the Fancy Edges die set to create the "ragged" edge in black on which she white heat embosses the sentiment.  Spookily cute tags!



Feline Batty by Claire features Batty Newton and Newton's Boo-tiful Night by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #halloweencards
Claire Lamb is back with her amazing purple distressed background!  This time she adds bats (Newton's Boo-tiful Night stamp and die set) and stars in a circular pattern with Newton from the Batty Newton stamp and die set taking center stage!  She continues the touch of gold by heat embossing the sentiment!  Bat-acularly done, Claire!

You can count on me by Debbie features Count Newton, Batty Newton, Slimline Frames & Portholes, and Slimline Frames & Windows by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #halloweencards, #catcards, #cardmaking
 Debbie Owens brings us this colorful card filled with Count Newton fun! Using the Slimline Frames & Portholes and the Slimline Frames & Windows die sets, Deb makes the background. On each window panel she adds black grass to the spooky paper using the Land Borders die set. She places a Newton image in each panel by combining the Batty Newton and the Count Newton stamp sets.  Don't you love how these sets go together!  Super fun!

Inky Paws Challenge #135

 Becky Noelle fun interpretation of the sketch showcases the little spider image from the Spooky Street stamp set. Set on a black-scalloped frame die cut using the Frames & Flags die set, she adds a white cobweb using the Spiderweb stencil on a white-splattered black background.  She uses a circle die from the Circle Frames die set and pulls her frame apart at a diagonal.  She adds the sentiment from the Batty Newton stamp set.  Doesn't that spider look darling hanging hanging from the black twine!  Eeek!





Make a wish by Crystal features Balloon Shaker and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Crystal Komara's brightly colored birthday card is sure to delight the recipient . On a purple-scalloped frame cut using the Frames & Flags die set , Crystal adds rainbow-colored paper set on a diagonal.  Using the Balloon Shaker die set, she stamps the bold sentiments from the Birthday Essentials stamp set in the center of the balloons and adds color-coordinating sequins!  Let the celebrations begin!



Meow you doing by Debbie features Newton Unwinds and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #cardmaking,
 Debbie Owens use of the dotted line embossing folder and string pattern paper provide a fabulous background to showcase the feline from the Newton Unwinds stamp set on his giant ball of yarn!  She die cuts her pattern paper using the rounded-corner die from the Frames & Flags die set to give her panel a stitched look.  The little ball of yarn below the sentiment is a fun, playful touch!  



Trick or treat by Diane features Newton's Costume Party, Circle Frames, and Frames & Flags die set by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #halloween, #cardmaking
Diane Morales uses bright, bold stripes against a black card base to make a striking Halloween card.  Her black card base has been die cut using the scalloped-frame from the Frames & Flags die set. She die cuts her white circle using the Circle Frames die set and stamps the sentiment. Her trio of costume-clad felines from the Newton's Costume Party stamp set and coordinating die set look ready for a night of trick-or-treating!

Sue T.'s Halloween card is sure to spook. For her diagonal stripes, Sue uses a combination of Halloween paper and Washi tape in traditional Halloween colors--orange and black.  She then adds the Spooky Roundabout image from the Spooky Roundabout stamp set and die cuts using the large circle die from Circle Frames die set.  She then stamps an additional roundabout and fussy cuts the ghosts out.  She adds them to her card with some foam tape to have them pop up!  How fun!

Happy howl-oween by Sue T. features Fancy Edges, Spiderweb, and Happy Howl-oween by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Sue T. creates black on black layers to showcase her spookily-cute tag.  Her second black layer has the postage-edging that adds a nice texture and was created using the large frame die from the Framework die set. Sue distresses in orange her tag which was die cute using  Fancy Edges Tag die set.  She goes back and uses the Spiderweb stencil to add a black cobweb.  There's no spider on this web! Instead, Sue adds the darling duo from the Happy Howl-oween stamp and die set. Aren't they darling in their cute costumes?  




You're the pick of the patch by Becky features Newton's Boo-tiful Night, Land Borders, Fence, and Forest Scene Builder by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
 Becky Noelle's midnight scene with the dark purple sky and black silhouettes of trees and fence from the Forest Scene Builder and the Fence die sets make for an eerie backdrop.  She adds black hills using the Land Borders die set for her black kitties to romp. Those black kitties are from the Newton's Boo-tiful Night stamp and die set. A Halloween scene filled with spooks and sweetness!




Boo by Crystal features Newton's Boo-tiful Night and Slimline Frames & Windows; #newtonsnook
Crystal Komara creates a vibrant background in orange and purple with lots of speckles. She uses the Slimline Frames & Windows die set to make a black window frame which she fills with some overly large letters that spell BOO!  She pulls out two of the images from the Newton's Boo-tiful Night stamp and die set and colors her pumpkins orange and purple.  The addition of the 3D bats is a spook-tacular touch to this fabulous card!



Happy haunting by Debbie features Spooky Roundabout, Halloween Trio, Circle Frames, Frames & Flags, Hoppy Halloween, Candy Corn, and Spiderweb by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
 Debbie Owens creates layers of Halloween fun!  Starting with the purple scallop-edged background using the Frames & Flags die set, she embosses using the Spiderweb stencil and embossing paste and distress ink.  She adds the scallop-edged circle die cut using the largest die from the Circle Frames die set and distresses the edge in purple. She features the Spooky Roundabout stamp set on it and colors the images in orange, yellow, and black.  She adds a black banner (Frames & Flags die set) and embosses the sentiment in white.  She stamps and colors the trio of trick-or-treaters from the Halloween Trio stamp set.  She pulls the candy images from the Candy Corn and the Halloween stamp sets and scatters them around her sweet critters.  A fun way to combine products for a layered Halloween card!
 

Trick-or-treat by Diane features Slimline Frames & Portholes, Halloween Trio, Land Borders, and Ghost by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Diane Morales takes a simplicity approach to the challenge creating this absolutely darling Halloween card! Using the Slimline Frames & Portholes die set, she creates the black, scallop-edged card base. She creates a spooky background using the Ghosts stencil and gradients the challenge colors. She adds a black hill using the Land Borders die set and adds the Trick-or-Treat sentiment using the die from the Halloween Trio die set.  She die cuts several bat images using the same set and scatters the bats among the ghosts!  Spook-tacular!
