Amy loves the glittery puppy Sandy Bernstein uses on her darling card. This little fellow is from the Puppy Playtime (retired) stamp and coordinating die set.  Sandy pairs him with papers from the Pastel Basics paper pad. She uses the Card Layout 6 die in conjunction with the Corner Flip die set to create some dimension to her fabulous card!

Melissa Sunshine Honey Bee's hexagonal card caught Claire's eye as well as the popped up sentiment. Melissa uses the Hexagon Frames die set with papers from the Springtime paper pad. She stamps the bee house with a couple of bees from the Beekeeper Newton (retired) stamp set. As for the popped up sentiment, she pulls a die from the Banner Trio die set. Such a darling way to send happiness to a friend!

The darling mix of papers on Mindy Finnegan's card wins over Danni's heart! Those papers are from the Farmyard paper pad. She uses dies for the Frame & Flags die set to create her stitched panels. And the main attraction to her card are this trio of gossiping chickens from the Cluck stamp and coordinating die set. Too cute!


The IPC Design Team will be taking a short summer break. We will be back July 6 with some amazing colors to challenge you!

Inky Paws Challenge #249 Week 2

Use the sketch with your NND product(s)!

You have from until Friday, February 27, 2026 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project. 

Here's some inspiration.  

Go right to the edges of your card with this sketch! Try using multiple colors or patterned papers for this fun layout. The center spot is perfect for a sentiment, image, or both! Cards for any theme or occasion are welcome as long as they match the sketch. Let's see how the IPC team used this fun sketch!

Claire Lamb is getting an early start on her St. Patty's Day cards. For her darling card she uses Newton's Lucky Clover stamp and coordinating die set with a sentiment from the Lucky Dog stamp and coordinating die set. She uses the green gingham paper from the Christmas Basics paper pad as well as the Circle Frames die set. Such a fun card!

Kelly Santi is celebrating National Pizza Day (Feb.9) with this yummy card! She uses the Newton Loves Pizza stamp and coordinating die set with papers from the Lovely Hearts, the Love & Woofs, and the Bright Basics paper pads. Such a wonderful combination of papers for such an important day!

Amy Tollner has a moo-velous cow card to share. She uses the Moo Stamp and coordinating die set with a trio of papers from the Farmyard paper pad. For a bit of sparkle she uses the yellow paper form the Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock Assortment. She adds a sentiment on a banner using the Frames & Flags die set. Absolutely delightful!

Amy just couldn't resist Meghan K.'s card with two of her favorites--books and a dog! Meghan's card is just so cute with the puppy from the All Booked Up stamp set. Amy also used the Framework die set to create her edging. Look closely at the spines of her larger books! So clever!

She adds a little rooster from the Cluck stamp and coordinating die set a top her green tractor (Tractor die set). A bit of sparkle is added using paper from the Cheerful Brights Glitter cardstock with the Card Layout 4 die. She finishes up with her sentiment stamped on a stitched circle using the Circle Frames die set.  Nothing fowl about this card!

Danni loves the scene Inkami created on this darling summer card.  Spending a sunny day on a lake up in the mountains sounds like a fine idea, and Winston and his puppy pal (retired Winston's Lake House stamp set) look like they are definitely enjoying their day!
