She stamps the bee house with a couple of bees from the Beekeeper Newton (retired) stamp set. As for the popped up sentiment, she pulls a die from the Banner Trio die set. Such a darling way to send happiness to a friend!

And the main attraction to her card are this trio of gossiping chickens from the Cluck stamp and coordinating die set. Too cute!


The IPC Design Team will be taking a short summer break. We will be back July 6 with some amazing colors to challenge you!

Inky Paws Challenge #244 Week 2

 

We are in week 2 of our September Challenge.   



 This month we challenge you to make either a Halloween or Fall card.  You can enter up to 4 times, so why not make a couple of each!


You until Friday, September 26, 2025 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project. 

Here's some inspiration.  

Halloween or Fall cards can be used for many other occasions. Maybe a Halloween birthday card? Or possibly a missing you fall card. There are so many options. This week the IPC team went with lots of autumn cards with one spooky Halloween card for extra fun!

Amy's card features Autumn Apples, Autumn Meows, Fractured Card Layout, and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardmakingideas, #cardchallenge, #autumncards, #applecards
Amy Tollner is getting us ready for some yummy apple treats. She combines paper from the Autumn Meows paper pad using the Fractured Card Layout die . Her yummy treats are from the Autumn Apples stamp and coordinating die set. She embosses a sentiment on a banner created with the Frames & Flags die set. A caramel apple is sounding so good right now!

Inky Paws Challenge #243 Week 2

 

Welcome to Inky Paws August Challenge!

We are in week two of the current sketch challenge. This challenge coordinates purr-fectly with the Card Layout 4 die cut. This week the IPC design team have some different ideas of how to use the sketch. We have summer, autumn, and Halloween with a darling feline one! Check them out!

Claire Lamb uses the speech bubble paper from the A Cat's Life paper pad with the Card Layout 4 die. She then adds a trio of black cats using the Cat Silhouettes die set. She stamps her sentiment on a stitched circle made using the Circle Frames die set. The black Silhouettes look stiking on the brightly colored paper!  So cute!

Crystal Minkler was inspired to use a trio of papers from the Halloween Meows paper pad  to create the sketch. She adds a little pumpkin patch from the Newton's Boo-tiful Night stamp and coordinating die set. Doesn't the kitty look so cute popping out of one of those Jack-o-lanterns? Great way to share some Halloween greetings!

Debbie Owens is also getting in the mood for Halloween! Instead of using pattern papers, Deb heat embosses the image from the Spooky Roundabout stamp set. She then uses the Card Layout 4 die to create the white frame. She adds the haunted house using the Haunted House die. She adds the spooky feline ghost from the Ghostly Good Times stamp set. The black and white combo with a splash of yellow makes for a fun Halloween card!

A super cute way to enjoy the rest of summer!

Inky Paws Challenge #233-Week 1

  Welcome to our new Monthly 

Inky Paws Challenge!

For the month of October 

we have fabulous colors to play with!

Use Burnt Orange, Olive Green, Slate Gray, and Cream with your NND products. 
You have four weeks to get creative with these colors and your NND Products!

Here's some inspiration.  

This color combination would make gorgeous Fall projects, but don't limit yourself.  How about using these colors for a Halloween-themed card or a masculine birthday card?  So many possibilities!  Let's see what our IPC DT came up with:

Debbie Owens shows us how these beautiful colors can be used to make a Halloween card!  Her card is filled with Halloween products including the Spooky Stories stamp set, the Trick-or-Treat Newton stamp set, the Trick-or-Treat Puppy stamp set, the Spooky Street stamp set, and, lastly, the Haunted House die.  
Deb makes her spooky scene using the Land Border die set, the Frames & Tags die, and the Clouds stencil. A fun way to use the October colors!

Amy's cozy reading card features Autumn Reads, Argyle, and Fractured Card Layout by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardmakingideas, #cardchallenge, #readingcards, #autumncards

Crystal Minkler uses the October colors to create a darling birthday card!  She chooses papers from the A Cat's Life paper pad in burnt orange and another in slate gray to make her layers with the help of the Frames & Flags die set. Her star attraction is our very own Newton from the Newton Loves Taco stamp and coordinating die set. Such a fun way to use the October colors!
